'I'll take it that's a no.' I said with a smirk. 'But returning to the matter at hand we should gather up and attack before the bandits pull together and assault in full force.'

"Nope. Just me," as Geist came out from the distance.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, the sandstorm ceases. Amazed, Geist uses this as an opportunity to locate the bandits. Surprisingly enough, there was none in sight, and hardly any place to hide. It's also very unlikely that they got buried in the sand. Perplexed, Geist walks out to investigate more. He knew Athos could not be wrong with his predictions...or could he? Geist starts to doubt that there even was a threat in the first place.
Geist notices that the others seemed to disappear. He assumed that they just went inside, realizing that nothing was going to happen. Geist sits in the sand, and opens up a book and starts reading.

Lyndsey had finally reached the edge of the vast Nabata desert. From her perch in the sky she could look out over the wasteland. While it was true no one would find her here, it was also true that she might not survive the journey. It wasn't as though her life had been particularly good up until then, but she wasn't in a hurry to die. She landed on the edge of the desert, and prepared for a tough flight.

Finally ready, Lyndsey started her journey across the shifting sands...
It didn't take long for her to realize that she might have been better off staying in Etruria. The savage desert winds buffeted her mount, making the pegasus work twice as hard as normal. While she didn't have the normal worries that came with desert travel, she still had to be weary of other things. Suddenly, she found herself entering a massive desert storm. having little warning, she had no choice but to enter the spinning sands.

The storm lashed out at the pegasus, as though driven by some force to harass the rider. Gritting her teeth, Lyndsey tried to ride it out. She knew that on the other side she'd be have nothing but empty desert. Then, she could find a port town, and work. Unfortunately, this was not to be.
The storm tore into her, and soon her pegasus's left wing buckled. Unable to keep in the air any longer, the mount and rider separated, carried by the fierce desert winds.

From out of the desert, a few cloaked figures approached a mound. Poking around, they soon discovered that a young warrior and a pegasus lying, buried under the sand. Moving quickly, they gathered up the young warrior, and prepared the pegasus as best as possible. Saying only minimal words to each other, they gathered her up, and headed for Arcadia...

Having plunged into the desert without thinking, Matthias now stood outside the edge of an impressive sandstorm. He sat down and looked at it. "I'm guessin' Athos hasn't dropped da sandstorm yet," he mumbled. The wind whipped his cloak around. "Guess I'll just wait till it goes away..."

Night Flight was used to the desert sands, thankfully, and Alexia had no trouble catching up to Matthias. Leaning over, she tapped him on the shoulder. "Looks like you screwed up, again. Don't worry, I think Matis asked Athos to drop it, we'll just have to wait a little while."

From through the thick sandy winds came Lumino, his cloak drawn about his face.
"Now I know why I wear this thing. It's useful. I hope Athos drops the sandstorm soon!"
The sand may not be getting into his mouth or eyes, but it was still annoying as all hell.

"I hope so, this sucks," griped Matthias, rubbing some grit out of his eyes. This close to the storm, flying particles attacked at random.
"You could move back and wait with the others," Alexia pointed out, using her lance to direct. "Don't feel like it," muttered Matthias in response, staring into the sands. Seeing Flyssa had messed him up, and abandoning her didn't sit well.

"Wasn't there one more person who was supposed to go with us?" asked Alexia, nearly shouting to be heard over the storm... "The ex-bandit... Sergio, I think." She looked around, to see if said ex-bandit was anywhere close. "I don't see him, maybe he's still back there..." she glanced over at the town.
