Dray'Gon continued to fly low to the ground, and as fast as he could. He had finally reached the Nabata region, but it was still a ways to go before they reached Arcadia. He wondered just how he would be recieved. He hadn't left on the best of terms. Now, he was bringing an outsider to his home town. Had he really changed so much?
Inside his mind, he hoped the human might lose his grip, but he didn't want the human to get hurt. Before, he could care less about them, and never would he have allowed one onto his back.
On the other hand, this human seemed different. Not like the humans h'd heard of long ago. He already knew so much, which concerned him, but also seemed to comfort him. He was afraid the humans had all but forgotten the Scouring.
It was only a matter of time before they reached Arcadia, but to Dray'Gon, it seemed as if time were going still. He didn't know what to expect, and he wasn't sure he'd be prepared for it either.

Brad was very excited as the reached nearer to the great city of Arcadia he could sense immense power. Brad was overwhelemed at how much he could learn from these great creatures, then it hit him, he hoped that they hadn't judged all humans because of the scouring although Arcadia was said to be a place where dragons and humans lived peacfully, he just hoped that what he had learned was correct.

The sandstorms began to kick up, a defensive measure to protect the city against any intruders that wished to do harm to the city. Dray'Gon, being a native to the city, knew good and well how to pass through it without getting lost. While the flying sand did not harm his flesh, and scales, he wasn't sure how well the human would fare through it, and hoped that he would be able to withstand it for a few moments. Fully enveloped in the storm, it was hard to determine just what direction was being taken. Dray'Gon, however, was fully aware, and soon, he'd be home again. (OOC: I'm trying to draw this out a bit because I don't want it to seem like we've made this trip in just a matter of minutes. Granted, I can fly, and propably pretty fast, but it's still a large distance, so I hope you understand. I'm not even sure I'm still not moving too fast. )

The sand stung a little as it was flung against his face, but the pain was worth it to go to Arcadia.

After what seemed like an eon of the sandstorm raging, it finally did down, and the glorious city of Arcadia was within view. Dray'Gon slowly descended, and prepared to land just outside the city. Thankful that the gem held out as long as it did, Dray'Gon didn't want to risk it failing at the last moment. It also gave a chance to set Brad down, so that it may not seem completely obvious that the shaman was brought here by him. Dray'Gon was also growing a bit tired from having flown for such a long period of time, and felt like he needed to rest a little bit.
(OOC: Ok, I don't really know all that terribly much about the city, so bear with me as I try to do my best to describe it appropriately. Of course, if someone would be so kind as to PM me all the info I probably need to know about Arcadia, that would be much better. ^^)

"Dray are you ok? Do you want be to walk in without you, I don't want you getting into trouble. All though if Niime is right than I should be aloud here, I heard that the great Archsage Athos still resides here" Brad said excitedly.

Dray'Gon did not wish to explain his true reasons for allowing Brad to enter without him. "I just need to rest a bit. I've been flying a lot recently, and haven't had much time to rest. If you so desire, you do not need to wait for me." He hoped Brad would, but if not, he believed he might be ready for whatever lecture he may be given. He knew he'd likely recieve one, whether heading in with Brad, or not.
Dray'Gon reverted back to his Human form, and found a shaded place to rest.

"No I'll wait here with you, so is there any water around here, because you really need some. You look thirsty" Brad said.

Dray'Gon sighed. Brad was right as he was thirsty, but the only water he knew of that was nearby was what was found inside the town. "I'm afraid the only water nearby is probably in the town. Don't worry though, I'll be ready to start moving again soon." Dray'Gon thought a moment, before adding, "Seeing how I've brought you to my home town, I'd kinda like to know a bit more about you, if I may. It could help the time to pass by."

"Well, the honest truth is, I wasn't born into magic" "I am the son of the Marquess of Ryerde, Jason. I ran away around 10 years ago when I was just 11. I ran as far as I could, not telling anyone, not even my best friend Ryan. I somehow made it to Ilia, where I met Niime, she took me as her student and for 10 years, I studied under her. I took up the name Brad so people wouldn't recognise me, I even died my brown hair. I learnt to be a scholar, and to be good with children too. When Niime's son Canas and his wife would go out, I would take care of their son Hugh. Earlier this year, Niime told me my training was finished, I thanked her for everything and left, I caught a boat down here and came right up to the desert, when I got here I heard a voice like that of a little girl she screamed "Fa have new friend" next thing I knew I had passed out and been tossed across the border in Etruria, then I sensed you in Sacae and yeah, that's pretty much it" Brad told the dragon essentialy his life story, meaning he was the second person to ever find out. "That's why all those nobles and Roland were in the cave at Sacae"

Dray'Gon listened to Brad's story. He pondered a moment, taking the story in. Could Brad have heard Fa's voice? Maybe he was just halucinating... Dray'Gon didn't know what to believe, but if it truly were the voice of Fa, he did not want to be a hindrance to her in any way.
Dray'Gon stood up, rested enough to walk into town. He said "That is a rather interesting story. I haven't yet learned much about the human world outside of Arcadia. Perhaps I could learn a bit more from you later on, if you wouldn't mind." Dray'Gon paused a moment as he changed subjects. "Anyways, let us go into the city now. I have recovered enough to head inside, and I should get some water to drink, and recharge my stone." Dray'Gon then started walking back into Arcadia.
(OOC: I'm thinking Dray'Gon may get a support bonus from Brad now, but I'd like to confirm if you think it's appropriate or not before I add it. Granted, it's not likely to affect much, but I'm not sure whom else I'd get support from for the time being.)

OoC: Yeah, I think a support bonus would be appropriate, also Fa is very friendly and energetic towards everyone, she's a divine dragon and also refers to herself in the third person.
"All right" Brad was very excited about going into Arcadia and very happy to learn that Dray wasn't mad about Brad lieing to him.

(OOC: Actually, Dray had no reason to be as he knows too little about how the humans live outside of Arcadia. lol I'll add teh support next time I update my sig picture. Does it start at E, or a higher letter? Also, will there be a limit to how many supports you can get like in the game, or are we doing away with that silly rule since it's free form? ) Dray'Gon walked, leading Brad into Arcadia. As expected, Dray'Gon recieved a few disapproving looks as he had come in with an outsider. He knew they were suspicious of Brad, but he seemed to feel as if Brad truly did not wish any harm to the peaceful way of life here in Arcadia. Dray'Gon kept his gaze straight ahead, trying to seem unphased by the looks he was getting. He first headed to the Oasis to get a drink, and pondered wether to offer some water to Brad. He decided against it as Brad would probably drink from the Oasis just as he was, and it might cause further complications later on. Dray'Gon stood up, and wiped off his mouth, he then turned to head towards the Dragonstone Forge when just before him stood a familiar face, one Dray'Gon had hoped to avoid seeing. "So, the deserter has come back from his fool's errand, and brought a single outsider. Is this the 'help' you said you'd bring, oh fearless one?" There was a large amount of sarcasm in his voice, and Dray'Gon struggled to keep from losing his cool. "It's nice to see you again too, Vhailene. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to head to the..." "Dragonstone forge, right? I knew you'd have to return to recharge your stone sooner or later. I'd be suprised if they actually did recharge it for how you made a fool of yourself, and your race before the council." He smiled as he said this. He then stepped out of the way, and added, "Go on. The forge awaits. Let the forgemaster see if you are fit to recharge your stone. Of course if you want any hope of redeeming yourself, your 'friend' will have to stay here."Dray'Gon sighed. He figured Brad wouldn't have been accepted into the Dragonstone Forge outright, but he didn't want to leave him with Vhailene either. Dray'Gon turned to Brad and asked, "You thinkyou'll be all right by yourself for a bit? It shouldn't take long to recharge my stone."

OoC: We start our supports at C and move up to A, I don't think we have a limit in this RPG.
BiC:"I'll be fine, maybe I can find this Fa person, or a library or something" Brad replied.

Vhailene's eyes widened, and his face turned sour as he heard Brad mention the name Fa. Turning to Dray'Gon, he said, "You've told him about Fa!? And to think I almost had a bit of respect for you!"
Dray'Gon prepared to protest, but Vhailene carried on. "Wait till the council heres about this! I have a feeling you and your 'friend' will be spending a lot of time here." With that, he flew off towards the large keep-like structure near the center of the town. Dray'Gon growled as Vhailene got out of speaking range.
Dray'Gon then turned to Brad, and said, "Seems things aren't going too smoothly right now. If you wish to seek out a library, or Fa, I suggest you hurry. I wish I knew exactly where Fa was now as maybe she could straighten things out. I'll join back up with you after I get my stone charged." Then Dray'Gon hurried to the Dragonstone forge, and hoped the forgemaster would still recharge his stone before it may be too late.
