Matthias and Lumino entered just as Zeiss's words were being said. "Maybe the bandits got really damn lucky," he joked. Alexia glared at him, but Lyndsey smirked. The sniper stepped further into the room. "The locals weren't too friendly," he explained. "They're probably scared o' me in my manliness."

"Why don't you all get comfortable?" the archsage motioned. As soon as they were settled, he began speaking. "As I've said before, the bandits have summoned the heroes for the Scouring, and are using them for their own ends. Hargus seems to possess more dark knowledge than any had ever expected. I suspect that he had aid from another, more sinister source. It could be that the bandit leader just 'got lucky,'" he paused to glance over at Matthias at this point, "but I sincerely doubt it. As you journey to defeat this new menace, you will discover more about it. Obviously, some of you are descendants of the heroes themselves." He paused to nod in the direction of the Sacaen leaders. "This, in itself, is almost proof enough that you were chosen for this quest. You have been fighting these bandits for a while now. I realize the threat has grown, but I am hoping your conviction has not. Left unchecked, the heroes will begin to terrorize this land, doing what the dark magics of Hargus command them to do. You must grow strong enough to face this threat, and that will not happen here. I suggest you leave Arcadia within a few days. Where you go is up to you, but staying longer will wear out your welcome." Nodding, the archsage headed deeper into his study, and out of sight.

Dray'Gon pondered Athos' words. Now he had the full specifics on what was going on, and it was also apparent that everyone would have to train more in order to be prepared to face these heroes. Without saying a word, Dray'Gon left the Chambers, and the tower itself, he left Arcadia, and prepared to find a place to train.

'Can't you warp us to Ostia as a starting place? On foot it will take some of us months to return to Lycia. And we don't have that kind of time.' Alan requested.

"Hey, maybe some o' us don't wanna go ta Ostia, ever thought o' that?" demanded Matthias, glaring at Alan. Truthfully, he was probably best off heading to Ostia, but he wasn't about to admit it. He also knew very well who it was that would take months to head to Ostia: Matthias.

'Well unless you have a boat waiting for you which I doubt, you'll need to pass through Ostia all the same.' Alan replied eqeully fierce. 'But I don't mind the long road. I won't be the one walking at any rate.' he added very much pleased with himself.

"I would suggest." Lumino began, walking over to a large map hanging on the wall. "That we plan for the worst, and hope for the best. So we might want to design a travel route back to Ostia. At the very least it is a place to regroup, resupply and gather information." He pulled a small stick from beside the fireplace and jabbed at the map, pointing out the area listed as "Arcadia.".
"My assumption would be that we are in this village, called Arcadia. The journey back to Lycia will not be easy, but we must be prepared for it. I would assume a time period of roughly one to two months, moving as a group. However, moving as a large group is almost certain to attract unwanted attention. There are two ways to reach Ostia." He said pointing them out on the map.
OOC: To understand this, look at the map topic.
IC: "After crossing the desert, we can go north, across the mountains there, crossing a river, and follow the mountains right to Ostia. This is the shortest route, but the terrain will be dangerous and an area so close to fresh food and water will be the perfect place for a bandit hideout. The other route is going south around the mountains and hugging the coast. The bandits do not go that close to the coast for fear of encountering the pirates there. That path would allow us to enter Lycia without the bandits being able to mount a serious offensive, and then move north to Ostia. The down side is the latter path will take closer to two months, because of it's round about nature. We have several choices here, the first would be if we go as one group, and risk drawing attention, or two, and risk dividing our forces. The second is which group will take which path, should we plan to split up." He placed the stick down on the counter, turning away from the map. "The choice need not be made now, but as I see it, that is our best chance to get out of here."

"So, we can either go through Etruria or we can travel straight to Lycia, and go through there. It seems to me that it would be more likrly for bandits to be in Lycia than Etruria, but our group should split up." said Ralph, making a short recap to help others understand it better.

"Keep in mind." Lumino said gesturing to the map again. "The northern route is along the mountain range that splits Lycia and Etruria. If the bandits were planning to move into Etruria, they would have some presence here to prepare for that day, and look for weakness. It's a well fortified area with plenty of food and fresh water. I think the likely hood of bandits being in that area is quite high. If they go near the coast, they would be invading the pirates 'turf' so to speak. And I doubt they want to do that yet."

"So, there are bandits in Etruria, and pirates along the coast." said Ralph, "Not much in the way of easy traveling."

Matis woke up then. Still feeling dizzy. Whatever they had hit him with, was not a normal weapon.
"W-where....where are we?" he said, slowly helping himself with the walls nearby to get up. He looked around, seeing everyone he knew, and that old man who had healed his wounds. He bowed, both as a thanks, and because he felt he should bow before the bearded man.
"Thank you once again..."
"Athos" He replied, knowing that Matis was wondering his name.
"Athos? The Athos of the legend!?" Matis suddenly bowed again, a bit more stiffly this time. He was nervous, and at the same time excited. Was this really the Athos from the legend? He had heard that Athos had gone up to search for the remaining dragons after the Scorching...trying to reestablish peace between both races.
Matis then got up and looked through the window, only to see a magnificent city, located in the middle of...a sandstorm? But the sand was not even getting inside town..."What a powerful magic..." he thought. Then, he turned back to the group:
"So...what did I miss?" Then stopped his look on the pegasus knight, the mage and the bandit-looking man. "I see that there are a couple of new faces here..."

Kenshin stuided the map for a bit. "Them pirates are nothing for the bandits. I'm guessing since me and Matthias seen that one guy in Bern, and you all seen Roland the heros are back in the countrys they started. If we're to have any chance we'll need to send people to the other countrys and gain their support in this war. Since we don't want to use up all of Athos' magic we can have him warp us here."
Kenshin pointed at the edge of the Nebula border. "Then we split up in small groups and see what we can do. When we're done just meet up in Ostia. Matis, Mattias you guys like that idea?"
OoC:Remeber your character don't have to agree with mine.

Lumino didn't like Kenshin's idea very much. Dividing to get around a mountain range was one thing, but to head to other countries, with know way of meeting up with each other before all were done was too dangerous.
But...
He had sent out his plan, Kenshin had sent his. It was up to the people who would be carrying these plans out to choose which one was better.

Alan said nothing. I didn't seem to affect him very much. He'd fly over the mountain range if neccesary. But thatdid mean travelling alone, save for Lyndsey.

"Kenshin's idea would get all the countries to cooperate against this threat. Except for Bern, of course. I doubt they will even bother to hear us out. However, Ostia has had a good relationship with most countries, and they are more likely to believe royal messengers than a bunch of no ones like us. Matthias might have a chance at getting them to understand, now that he is the lord of Ostia, even if only temporarily. But us? We might be strong, but that's were it ends."
Matis had got his point across(or so he hoped), and was favouring neither idea for the moment.
