Dray'Gon flew quite a distance having taken dragon form as he passed through the sandstorm. He headed for a place he hadn't visited since when he first prepared to help defend his home of Arcadia from bandits. The destination was a tall cylinder shaped mountain that had withstood erosion, and would be difficult to reach without flying. It was here that Dray'Gon spent time meditating, and practicing attacks at imaginary foes. It was here he was now returning to train further for the new threat ahead.
Dray'Gon landed, and changed back to his humanoid form as he headed to the center of the flat topped mountain. Sitting down, Dray'Gon began his meditation, which always preceeded his training. Here, he cleared his mind of all thoughts not conducive to his training. This included the thought that perhaps he should have at least let the others know what he was up to. Nonetheless, it wasn't like he had to answer to any of them anyways. He had joined them to seek their help with the bandit threat, and now he had to help them against an even greater one... and he had to train alone.
After purging all other thoughts, Dray'Gon began to focus on the thoughts of his ancestors to help him in his training. As he was doing this, a thought crept in about the precise lineage of his ancestors. Dray'Gon tried to suppress the thought, but it seemed to become more prevailent as he continued to meditate, almost as if the meditation itself was bringing it forth. Images of his ancestors began to appear vividly in his mind, and quickly faded as the next oldest ancestor appeared. When it finally came to that of a dragon, Dray'Gon awoke from his meditation. His heart was beating rapidly as the last image lingered in his mind. It was an image of a dark dragon.
(OOC: If I'm doing training, do I have to count off practice attacks against my dragonstone? If so, it may mean that I'll have to recharge my stone again before meeting up with the others again. You can send me a response in PM as chances are, you won't be able to make a IC post on this thread.)

Unable to focus any more on his meditation, Dray'Gon prepared to practice training. He set up human sized targets all over the top of the mountain, then changed to dragon form, and got ready in a battle stance. He set his goal to knock down all the targets around him as fast as he could, while keeping his body turned in one direction the whole time. This was to test his ability to attack with all parts of his dragon body.
Dray'Gon began by focusing on the targets ahead of him. With two quick strikes of his forelimbs, he decimated a large portion of the targets ahead of him. Realing back his head, he took a deep breath, and set the remaining targets before him ablaze. Turning his attention to the left, he quickly brought his wing down on top of the targets beside him, and cleaned up the rest with his left foreleg, and smashing a few with his hindleg. He repeated the same attacks to his right side, almost iddentically.
Behind him would be the hardest. Though he could turn his head to face dehind him, he only had one weapon he could effectively use, his tail. Without wasting any time, he sweeped his tail across the ground, bowling over several targets, those he missed intially, he finished off slapping them with his tail. He even managed to stomp on a few that were nearby behind him with his hindlegs. All in all, it took about 2 minutes to finish taking out all the targets. Dray'Gon was not satisfied with this, and prepared to set the targets up again.

Dray'Gon repeated his training several more times till he managed to get the speed down to about a minute (OOC: may change the times if they seem to be taking too long :/). It didn't seem he could get it down further with the way he was training now, so he changed up his training. This time, he began to attack on as many sides as he could, all at the same time. This required lots of concentration, and an attempt to 'sense' where his foes were. If successful, however, he'd be better skilled at fighting on all sides if surrounded.
His first few attempts at this failed horribly, and almost took more time than previously. Dray'Gon thought about meditating again, but recalled what happened last time, and decided to press on. He didn't want to dwell on that thought, and so refocused his concentration on the training.

After several more attempts, Dray'Gon seemed to finally get the hang of striking, even when his focus was not directed towards the area he was attacking. It still took him longer than he would prefer to knock out the targets, but chances were that he'd do better in a real fight, as the targets would make noise.
It was getting dark now, and Dray'Gon prepared to head back to Arcadia, when he heard a familiar voice. "Fancy meeting you here... Dray'Gon." Dray'Gon spun around and spotted Vhailene in his dragon form. Dray'Gon quickly changed his stance, as he assumed Vhailene was prepared to fight.
"What do you want now?" Replied Dray'Gon in an annoyed tone.
"What do I want?" asked Vhailene, feigning suprise. "You seem as if I didn't come to just chat."
Dray'Gon eyed him suspiciously, and after a pause, he stated, "Maybe it's because of what happened the last time we met? Wouldn't you be suspicious of someone whom had you thrown into jail, and later tried to have your wings removed?"
Vhailene scoffed, and commented, "Such harsh feelings. Granted, I probably was in the wrong, but considering your ancestory..."
Dray'Gon cut him off in an angry tone. "What do you know of my ancestors?"
Vhailene merely smiled, and stated, "Probably the same thing you've come to realize." He laughed a bit after saying this, but Dray'Gon was not amused. Dray'Gon was ready to strike him for such a comment, but couldn't as it seemed Vhailene's presumptions might be correct. "Of course, it seems you deny it even now. Let me just clarify for you, in case you still have any doubts. You have descended from a Dark Dragon."

"That can't be true!" Dray'Gon argued. "Weren't all the dark dragons defeated in the scouring?"
Vhailene replied coolly, "Indeed, most of them were killed during that battle, but not all of them. In particular, not those whom descended from them." Vhailene motioned to Dray'Gon at this.
"What proof do you have?" asked Dray'Gon, determined to find if Vhailene was lying.
"The proof is in your wings. Haven't you noticed that you are one of the only ones, if not THE only one that has them? You've always said that you were gifted with them from your strong heritiege(sp?). Who would have guessed it was a particular type of dragon, hmmm?"
Dray'Gon was left speechless by this, though doubt was still in his eyes. Vhailene then added, "If you need even more proof, we both are more alike than you may realize, seeing as we both share the same ancestor."
Dray'Gon grew tired of these accusations, and finally moved forwards to attack Vhailene, striking with his foreleg. Vhailene quickly, and effortlessly grabbed the leg with one of his own, squeezing tightly as he said, "It's a shame more of the bloodline didn't enter your veins. You are too weak to be related to me." He then attacked with his other foreleg, of which Dray'Gon barely managed to stop. Vhailene then started moving around, trying to force Dray'Gon to the edge.
Struggling to avoid being pushed backwards, Dray'Gon tried to bite Vhailene, but Vhailene avoided the attacks by trying to bite back, and again, Dray'Gon was forced on the defensive. He was now at the edge of the mountain, and barely able to keep his footing. Vhailene let up a little as he said, "You can become stronger. As strong as me even, if you didn't fear your past, and instead embraced it. I'll give you a chance to do that, but mark my words. This is the last chance you'll ever get."

Dray'Gon thought about Vhailene's proposal, but knew he would not be able to live with himself if he agreed. Attempting to take advantedge of Vhailene holding back, Dray'Gon made a daring lunge at him, releasing Vhailene's forleg to do so, and seccessfully slashing at his belly. "That, is what I think of you, and your proposition. I will not give in to my ancestory, if it is indeed that of the Dark Dragons." Dray'Gon's small victory was short lived, however, as Vhailene gave one hard pushing, causing Dray'Gon to fall down the mountain. Making sure that Dray'Gon did not pull out to come back after him, he dove after him, and ultimately slammed him into the ground. Feeling satisfied that he had dealt with Dray'Gon, Vhailene said, "It's a shame. Two of us would have been much better than one, but if I must make the humans pay by myself, then that is what I will do. So long, old friend." Vhailene then flew off into the distance. Meanwhile, Dray'Gon lay motionless on the ground by the mountain he had so recently been training on. (OOC: This is your opportunity to move on. Surely, I'll be able to catch up when I'm finished getting the posts I need. Sorry for holding everyone up. )

Dray'Gon opened his eyes. He hurt all over, and could barely move. The last thing he recalled was facing off against Vhailene, and then...
Looking around, he soon realized where he was. So I did fall. No wonder I hurt so bad. It seems Vhailene left me for dead... though I'm a little suprised myself to still be here. Dray'Gon struggled to drink the full elixer he had recieved before. Before long, his wounds were healed, and the pain was subsiding. Dray'Gon slowly got up, and examined the skies, hoping that Vhailene had indeed left the area.
I never knew he had grown so strong... Is it truly because of his... our ancestory? It pained Dray'Gon to think that what Vhailene said was true, but everything he's seen so far was pointing to it. It was already dark, and Dray'Gon was still tired from the beating he took, and so he found a small cranny the he could fit into and sleep for the night. He knew he'd have to train more if he ever hoped to defeat Vhailene... and chances are, the risen heroes would be as much, if not more of a challenge.

Dray'Gon dreamed...
[glow=red,2,300]There was a battle raging. Many bodies littered the landscape. Buildings were set ablaze, and some were smashed to pieces. All around, the sound of fighting could be heard. Dray'Gon was walking through in human form, though not another person was in sight. Dray'Gon listened to the fighting and tried to search for anybody that might be around.
From behind him, he heard a voice say, "You... descendant of dragons...", though when he turned, nobody was there. It sounded again from the left, adding, "You... who attempts to fit in with normal humans..." Again, Dray'Gon could not see the source. "You cannot posibly fit in..."The voice came from the right this time, and yet the source was still not visible. The voice continued coming from all around as it said, "You draw heritage from a dark dragon... the very ones the humans fought against, so long ago... You do not need them... Draw upon your rightful heritage, and smite them... In so doing, you will gain the power to rule the world..."
Dray'Gon grew nervous, and grabbed his dragonstone, trying to transform into dragon form, but nothing happened, as if the stone had no energy left. "Give in to your true calling, and then, you shall surpass even the power of your pitiful stone."
Dray'Gon felt a dark energy building up inside him, and he could not stop it. Next thing he knew, he had transformed into a dragon, nearly resembling the dark dragons from long ago. Now it seemed that those whom were fighting had spotted him, and came to fight him. Dray'Gon could not control himself as he mercilessly slaughtered everyone that approached him. He smashed more buildings, set fire to many others.
By the time he had realized what he had done, the whole town was silent, save the raging flames all around him. Not a single building was left untouched, nor human left standing. Dray'Gon could not figure what came over him, and tried to become human again, but oddly enough, he could not. The voice spoke again, saying, "Now, you realize your potential... Draw on it, and you will be unstoppable..." Dray'Gon let out a roar...[/glow]
Dray'Gon came to, awoken from his nightmare. He looked himself over, and realized it was merely a dream. Dray'Gon slowly got up, and looked around. It was morning, and the thought that the others might be ready to leave came to mind. Dray'Gon strongly desired to train more, but knew he had to head back if he was going to reach the group before they left.
Dray'Gon heard a noise nearby. He carefully looked around the mountain to see what the cause of it was. Before him stood a large group of bandits. If Dray'Gon transformed to dragon form now, he'd be forced to fight them, but if he were to try and fly away without changing, he'd be vulnerable. Dray'Gon decided to try moving around to the other side of the mountain, when he spotted another group of bandits. It seemed he was surrounded. Looks like I've got no choice but to fight my way out.
Dray'Gon concentrated on his stone, hoping that unlike the dream, he would indeed transform. Thankfully, the transformation was successful, but as he suspected, it drew the attention of the bandits on both sides. Well, I guess it's time to see if my training paid off.

The bandits were caught by suprise when the came face to face with Dray'Gon in his dragon form. Dray'Gon wasted no time in taking advantedge of the situation. He bowled over a large portion of the group in front of him, just as his tail did the same for the group behind. By the time they had regained their composure, Dray'Gon had already moved in to finish off the rest.
It was only a small group on both accounts, but it did get Dray'Gon's heart pumping a bit. Just as the last of them were dispatched, Dray'Gon noticed a glint of something in the sand. On closer inspection, he noticed it was a fairly valuable looking red gem (OOC: 100th post). "Hmmm... I wonder if this might be worth something back home." Dray'Gon suddenly recalled that the other humans he had been with were likely ready to head out. Dray'Gon tucked the gem away, and immediately headed off for Arcadia once more.
(OOC: Sorry if my RP is lacking a bit at the moment. I just got back from a trip, had a busy day, and need to get to bed. I'll try to work on making it better later on when I have more time.)

As Arston walked to the pillar of a mountain, he noticed the dragon footprints, followed by the human footprint's, that had somehow avoided erosion. He walked further, spotting fallen down targets and (this sent chills up his spine) rotting corpses. After doing the ritual exercices he was taught, he sat down to meditate.

Arston was bowled back by an invisible hand. His eyes flew open, and images rushed to his head. Images of a person meditating, a clash between dragons, a tail wiping out a slew of bandits. Everything that had happened of importance in this area came rushing to his head.
Finally the images had receded, and the scenery of the wide desert was visible. He stood up, shaking with pain
(OOC: His HP is not effected since it is only the mental pain of havin images explode in your head)

Arston first started with human training, propping up the human shaped targets and fixing the broken ones. He put them in an circle formation surrounding him first, remembering that if being attacked by a small group of mercenaries, this will be the first formation they would strike in. He ran to the middle, stood motionless in an attack pose, then strike lightning fast to the one behind him by way of a back flip. And fell flat on his face. Apparently I dont remember as much as I thought I did, he thought bitterly. He Immediatly pushed the thought out of his mind, no I do remember, I just haven't practiced in a while! With a burst of confidence he practiced the blow again and again, and after mastering his back blow, front blow, sideslam, and various other moves using his retractable wings as much ad his feet and hands, until he was back to the skill level he had when he completed his training, he flew up to the pillar(not in dragon form) and began to meditate the many hours required for his first ever dragon transformation.

Arston stood up, only to find he was surrounded by Mogalls. oh great... just what I need He jumped into the air, spread out his wings, covered his body in his wings, and transformed into the dragon he was meant to be! As he came back to the ground (squashing a mogall and knocking back the rest) He let out a thunderous roar that showed what a being of power he is.

The Moguls got over their shock of seeing the huge monster emerge from a child, and focused their eyes in preparation of a Evil Eye. He dodged all but one, which grazed his foreleg. It stung, nothing more. He let out a stream of dragon-fire, scorching two Moguls into oblivion. The two that remained widened their bodies/Eyes in shock.

He swooped over them, transformed back to his human form, and landed with either foot in one of the mogul's bodys. Arston nimbly backflipped out hof the moguls, and cleaned off his boots. only then did he notice the gash running down his arm. He sighed. " Let's hope the village has it's own healer" he said, defeated when he could not cover the wound comepletely with his shirt. He slowly started walking back...
