"Ahh finally!" Ralph took off his pack and cloak and plunged into the water. "You sure this isn't a mirage?"

'Maybe,' Alan said and I smiled. 'It's the thought that counts, if you know what I mean.'
OoC: oh, sorry.

(OoC: Me smiled?)
BiC: Brad layed his books out carefully and then taking off his cloak plunged into the water. "This is so good" Brad said happily.

Alan's wyvern eagerly started slurping in water and Alan dismounted. 'I really can't tell in this wretched desert, how long until we reach civilation?'

Dray'Gon landed after everyone had reached the oasis. Immediately, Dray'Gon began to take a drink. after he had recieved his fill, he looked to the others playing around in the oasis and sighed. We don't really have time to be playing around, thought Dray'Gon. Then again... maybe the heat's getting to them worse than I thought.
Dray'Gon layed down at the edge of the oasis, until the others seemed ready to move on. He figured there was no sense wasting energy until it was needed.

'Don' be a killjoy, Dray' Gon! You're clothes are as sandy as ours!' Zeis said, already in the oasis.

Dray'Gon seemed more than ready to keep moving, and seemed to be thinking. "What's bothering you, my winged friend?" Matis asked. Hopefully, he wouldn't think of that as an offensive comment.
"Is something the matter?" he asked again, sitting next to him, this time, refreshing his feet with the amazingly cold water of the oasis.

(OOC: I hadn't returned to humanoid form just yet, otherwise I'd be sitting rather than laying. For future reference, if I change my form, I'll mention that I've changed.) Dray'Gon didn't seem to have noticed Matis as he stared off into the distance until Matis spoke to him. Turning to look at Matis, Dray'Gon said, "I just have a feeling... Something is going on right now that is..." Dray'Gon paused a moment as if trying to figure out how to describe his next words. "I'm not sure how to describe it, but I feel it's imperrative that we move quickly..." After a short pause, Dray'Gon added, "Unless you've decided to try moving by night instead." Dray'Gon then rested his head once more until the signal to start moving out, is given.

'We can't leave without Lyndsey.' Alan said before Matis reply.

OoC: Look at her last post. She's already here, and from before we got here too.
BiC: Ignoring Alan's comment, as he had seen Lyndsey zoom past them to the oasis earlier, Matis answered Dray'Gon's comment. "Of course not. I believe it's wise to trust a dragon's hunch. So we will hasten up. Besides, we have already lost a lot of time, so I would have decided to move further, even during the day, even had you not told me that."
Standing up and shaking some of the still dripping water off him, Matis announced that they were going to get on the move again, and started walking to the northeast. Night was about to fall on them, and it would be best to make the most out of it.

"Alright." Ralph got out of the water and filled his water sack with it.
(Mmm Mmm, water sack.)

Lyndsey had filled her water sack upon arrival, and had been hiding in the shade some distance from the rest of the group. She had no desire to get in the water, despite the heat, and wanted to play buddy-buddy with the group even less. As soon as Matis mentioned their moving, she rose to her feet and mounted her newest pegasus. She couldn't fly too high, or the wyvern lord would bother her again. Instead, she hovered far enough away from the rest of the group, yet still fairly close. She flew in a lazy circle, letting the pegasus stretch its wings while the others got ready.
OoC: sorry about the post delay...

Dray'Gon got up, and prepared to provide shade once again, at least until night fall. It also allowed him a better vantedge to ensure that the group was still heading in the right direction.

Brad filled up his Canteen with water and dried himself off, he carefully put his books back in his robes and was ready to continue with the group. "Finally we get to move again and I get to return to Ilia" Brad said happily, it had a long time since he last saw his home back in Ilia.

(OoC: Sorry, I didn't know Matthias gave you permission to control his char.)
BiC: 'Why are we in a hurry? It is unlikely we will receive any assitance from the Ilians anyway. You know the story about last time better then any of us.' He asked suprised at Matis' comment. 'Sides, the other know we have by far the longest journey.'
