The camp was quickly broken up and the Santurazans (or whatever you call it) were the first to leave. 'Thank God, we are home free. Maybe I'm finally free from that witch.' I said though no soldier understood it.

OoC: It seemed...too long for a single post.
BiC: There he found Alexia and Matthias, who were getting their stuff ready. Matthias seemed to be on some sort of hype, and had already picked up everything he would need.
"Take it easy. We are not going to Santaruz until the evening. We will attack during the night. That way, we will be able to hide from guards with ease. Rest up, I will wake you all up once the time comes."
He told Alexia the same, and walked through the barracks, finding Marcus planning some attack strategies. He was a mounted fighter, and as such, he could actually take his time before departing. Everyone knows that horses are much faster than a moving army.
They talked for a long while, and the evening came by surprisingly quickly. That is when he had noticed that he didn't even pick up his things. Marcus set off immediately, since by then, the troops wouldn't be far from Santaruz. Matis hurried down the corridors of the castle to his own room, and picked up the Mani Katti and a Vulnerary. He thought no more would be needed.
He went back to the barracks. There, he found Matthias already awake. It seemed like he hadn't got much sleep. Who would in this kind of situation, anyway? They woke up everyone, and they were at the courtyard, ready to get on the move.

Matthias had acknowledge the bustling lord, but had to admit that he was a little jumpy. Actually doing something made him excited. He had sprung to attention when Matis had gotten him, and truthfully, was a little low on sleep. "Hey, shouldn't we grab torches or something? You know, seeing as this is a night attack, and we don't have anyone with sharp eyes (a.k.a. thieves)," Matthias questioned, studying the others. There still lay this hope in him that he'd find some of his lost companions (Rath, Flyssa, Kyo), but he quashed it. One glance at the castle told him what likely happened, they had given up.
He shouldered his bow, and eyed Fleetfoot, who no doubt would have the dubious honor of carrying him into battle.

OoC: ug. im so dumb. i spent my entire life thinking it was Osita... there goes my whole beliefe system.
BiC: Sokka listened as Matthias as he talked. "I thinkd its a good idea, but not untill we are in the castle, it might alert the guards and blow the whole mission." Sokka said.
He wondered how the battle would turn out. These people seemed trustworthy and very well trianed, but after the recent events her and his friends when through, he would never judge people the same way again. He shoved the thought to the back of his mind and focused on the task that lay ahead.

Alexia had moved quickly, getting Fleetfoot ready for the upcoming battle. As she did so, she made certain to annoy Matthias as much as possible. Finally, she stood by the others, waiting for that last order. She did overhear the conversation between the greenleaf and the archer though. "Don't worry too much about the mission. Matis is a capable fighter and worthy commander. Besides, Alan and I are both highly trained warriors," she turned to face Sokka. "If you find yourself in trouble, try to get behind Alan or me, alright? We should be able to protect you. And, ignore the archer. He's got a reckless streak a mile wide." She winked at her old friend, but shifted to allow him to climb aboard. She knew he could barely stand riding horses, and wyvern rides nearly killed him.

"Torches wouldn't be that helpful. We might not have sharp eyes, but I believe that we can more than hear footsteps from a mile away. We would be moving without making any sound, and we would see the lights of soldier's torches. Carrying one ourselves would only make us easier to discover. If we are seen even by one, he will alert everyone, and our plan is done for. Remember that while the fight is taking place outside, they are not expecting anyone inside."
Matis was now stretching his legs. He was known for his super fast speed, and he would have to run all the way to Santaruz. A horse or wyvern wouldn't be able to take 3 persons and still maintain a fast speed. Anyway, he took it as training. He hadn't had a run for quite a long time, last one being when they escaped from the burning forest, back near the Ruinz' base.

"Oh, i thought we were going after thier leader, inside the castle. My bad." Sokka said. "We gotta run eh, Matis? No horses and all. Cool. we ran all the way here from Santruz a few days ago, and im eager to go back.

Matthias hopped aboard Fleetfoot, staring at the two odd individuals. Over a short distance, he might be able to keep up with the two swordsman. Over a long distance... well, he wasn't going to try it. Besides, he wanted to be fully rested before he got there. "Sokka, it might not be a bad idea for you to climb on with Alan. I know you'd have no trouble running the entire way, but it would probably be better if you'd just ride," he explained, trying to be the voice of reason for once.
OoC: FE logic, once again. Alexia and Alan are both mounted units. Not only can they "rescue" us, but their doing so only puts them at about the same speed as Matis on foot. So, it makes more sense to do it that way. Besides, realisitcally, you wouldn't want to run all the way to Santaruz if you could.

(But I'm in a different company then you, and off already. Just wait for Rath to show up, he said he'd start again soon.)

OoC: err... oops... didn't uh... notice that... er...
Matthias quickly noticed that Alan had already left, leaving the young man with no ride. "Well, I guess you'll have to run then, have fun with that." His excitement must have distracted him, oh well...

"Well...Alan is already way ahead of us, and Marcus must be getting to Santaruz by now. Shall we?"
Matis started a slow walk towards Santaruz, which gradually became a faster walk, turning into a super fast run in a matter of seconds. Only a minute had passed since he had started running. Fleetfoot had just now started galloping, and Sokka was trying to keep up the pace, having a hard time to do so.
