"Didn't think you'd care..." Matthias admitted. He shifted to allow a pushy nurse through. She glanced over at him, and opened her mouth as if to say something. Matthias just glared at her, and she scuttled off. He hoped his friends were alright. "So, find out anything about your parents?"

"Not yet," admitted Alexia, she watched the nurse moving on. Her real parents were something of a sore spot for her. It was incredibly corny, but at times she wished she had royal blood or something. "Still got your pendant, though it seems silly now. I saw you with that mage, what's her name."

"You mean demon-spawn? She's alright, I guess. You should talk, you've been making goo-goo eyes at Lord Calis since you met the man. Must say, I approve," he smiled over at her. If anyone else had teased him like that about Flyssa, he probably would've shanked them, then and there. Alexia, he gave some leeway to.

"I have not been oogling Calis. you still haven't learned to talk to a lady," Alexia slapped Matthias. She had to admit, she missed the ruffian. Though, there were quite a few more friends around now. She was about to continue talking when the nurse came back. "You," she pointed at Alexia. "Do you want to see Lord Calis?"
Shocked, Alexia nodded. The nurse tossed her some robes. "Put these on, we need help treating him, and you look desperate," the nurse barked. "I must be crazy."
"You, the stupid archer, General Fabis is looking for you, go to the throne room," Alexia followed the nurse, waving behind her shoulder at the archer.

'If you two are going to kiss then I will tell both Flyssa and Calis. An archer? In the infirmary? You actually got closer to an Axe then a good twenty meters? I am impressed!' Alan was woken up by Matthias' loud voice and had been overhearing the two flirting.

"Shut the f**k up in there, or you'll have a wound that really needs treating. You abandoned me on top off a damn rooftop for some time, did you forget? Diving from rooftop to rooftop wasn't fun!" Matthias shouted back. Knowing that the best way to end an argument was to walk away, and knowing that if he did so now, he'd look really good, he started towards the throne room. Who the hell was General Fabis?

'Like he would really put his money where is mouth is...' Alan then turned to Alexia. 'You are right, you should start teaching him to behave as a proper lady.'

Calis lay on his bed waiting for Alexia to come in. He had asked to nurse to allow her though, but he was starting to get worried. Maybe the nurse wouldnt care about his personal interest and there was also the problem of getting her past the other nurses. She would have to do something crazy in order to get her in. Calis moved his arm, which was severely burned from his last ditch effort. He let out a groan of pain. It seemed like his whole body was hurting. He closed his eyes. He didnt want to fall asleep for Alexia could come in at any moment, but he really didnt have any say in it. He was out cold before the door ever opened.

Matthias headed towards the throne room. Why would they want him? Maybe, they were going to reward him for his hard work in Santaruz. Yeah, that was probably it. He nodded to himself, content in that knowledge. Soon, his feet carried him to the entrance of the throne room.
"Matthias?" questioned one of the guards. Matthias nodded in response. Wasting no time, the guard swung open the doorway, and Matthias stepped into the throne room.

"He definately needs a lesson in manners," muttered Alexia, she quickly threw on the robes the nurse had given her, and headed into the infirmary. She nodded at Alan as she walked by him. He didn't look that bad, so she figured that someone else could take care of him. Besides, she was here to see someone else. She moved to the special curtained area (Calis is in a curtained, area, right?), and carefully went inside.
"There he is. Can't believe he asked some random tomboy to come in. Puh, crazy lord. and me, i must be crazier yet for letting you come in," the nurse rambled, as she prepared various instruments of healing. "You can change bandage, yes?"
Alexia nodded, and set to work. He looked bad, but he also looked like he might pull through. Biting her lip, she went through the motions, glad she had paid close attention to first aid lessons.

Alan was feeling restless and rized out of bed, he walked over to Alexia. 'What do you think? Is he going to get better?'

The voice startled Alexia, and she dropped the bandage roll onto the bed. She quickly picked it up, and began winding it back together, thankful for something to keep her hands busy.
"I think so, he's pretty strong. The wounds are really bad though," she admitted, glancing over at Alan in the corner of her eye. "I'd feel a lot better if we had a cleric around."

Alan walked over to Yeo. 'Yeo, are you awake?' 'Yeah, what is the matter?' 'I'm... leaving, I am going back to Bern.' 'Hmmm, your payment?' 'We will settle it later, I have urgent matters waiting, send my regards to Calis when he wakes up.'
Alan left the room and walked out of the castle. He found Miledy already waiting with Grimbold. 'Shall we go?' 'Yeah.'

Matthias slowly walked up the hallway. At the far end of the hallway, standing in front of the throne, was a well built man. THe first thing Matthias noted was a giant drooping mustache, which looked well groomed. The hair had a steel gray to it, and the man would've looked tough, if he had actually been in armor. Instead, he'd opted for foppish looking courtier's clothes, and it didn't flatter him at all. The scruffy archer stood in front of him, smirking.
"You are Vassal Matthias?" asked the general, looking down his nose at the archer. Matthias shifted his weight, and eyed the guards. They didn't look particularly friendly. "Yes..." "Then, shouldn't you be bowing?" "Funny, you don't look like Lord Sain," Matthias quipped. He already didn't like this guy. "Lord Sain is... busy... Attending to other matters. As the highest ranking nobility, I am in charge in his absence. That being said, I'm here to review your performance since joining," the lord snapped his fingers, and a servant appeared out of nowhere. He pulled up a chair for the lord, and, after moving his cape out of the way, Fabis took a seat. A shadowy figure emerged from the shadows, and handed a sheaf of paper to the lord. Matthais waited as the lord reviewed it.
This was going to take a while...

Matis, Kenshin and Albel approached the castle's gate, only to be stopped by a guard.
"Who are you ?" he said loudly while moving his lance around, trying to look like a fearsome opponent, even though he was very thin and skinny.
As the travellers got closer, the guard lowered down the lance.
"Lord Kenshin, Lord Matis, I'm truly sorry. Please, go in...who's the nomad ?" he asked abruptly when he saw Albel.
"He's coming with us." Matis answered.
"I see...please go in."
The guard turned around and opened the gate.
OoC: Your turn Kenshin. >_>
