Katara was amazed that she actually hit him. "Thank you." She said, blushing. "Should we continue?" She asked, holding her sword across her body.

"Only if so you wish." he said, trying to sound as if he didn't mind either way. He didn't want to force anyone to do anything.
OoC: You know...your Slim Sword can't still be at 100/100 uses after having saved a village, fighting with me, and kicking some ass in Santaruz. >_>

OoC: idk how many times Ive used it. Seeing that most of my posts have been fights, ill put it to 75
BiC: "One more go?" She asked. "You go first this time, I'd like to see if I can fend you off." She added, although she knew that he would own her.

"Sure" Matis replied. Katara had gotten into fighting stance again, and was holding her Slim Sword, ready to attack if Matis were to get close. Surprisingly enough, he didn't move, and just stayed there...waiting.
Katara was still in stance, ready for anything...but perhaps not for this. Matis ran forward, faking a blow right in front of her. Jumping he evaded the blade, and he hit the back of her head with the scabbard. Turning around Katara sliced thin air, as Matis ducked and rolled backwards, taking her sword with him. "Hehe. Let's see if you can get it back." he said.

Katara felt a strange burst of energy flowing throgh her body. She jumped forewards, faked left, and kicked Matis in the chest. She used his chest as a "springboard" launching herself into a backflip. She hit his wrist with her hand, grabbed his arm, and used his oen weight to filp him over. She took her sword back as he lay stunned on the ground.
" How'd you like that?" She said, smirking.
Kenshin's OoC:This is godmodeing. I've taken acton and took away some of your post. Matis have around 140 more post then you(showing he's at a higher level).

OoC: oops and a half. Sorry, Ill redo it here.
BiC: "Ow." Katara said, rubbing the back of her head. "I... hmm, I dont know how to go about this... I'll try anyway.
He ran at Matis and jumped to the left, avoiding his sword. "Um..." She said Improvising, she reached out with her left hand, and tried to hit his wrist with her right hand

OoC: As I said before, I don't mind the controlling, unless it was VERY unrealistic. Like in this case. Had I known you had kicked me in the chest, grabbed my arm, twisted my wrist and took your sword back, leaving me on the ground, I'd have said otherwise. >_>
BiC: Matis dropped the Slim Sword from the blow, but since the hilt fell face-first to the ground, he used the opportunity to kick the sword up into the sky, picking it with his left hand the other way around(you know, the blade actually going to my back, instead of the front. Exactly like the assassin in my sig does), and slashing forward, barely missing Katara, who had jumped backwards.
"Nice try. But I won't let go so easily."

Katara landed on her hands in a handstand form. She then vaulted off her hands and rolled into Matis's legs, knocking him off balance. She reached for the sword as she got up.

OoC:Well throwing you around and takeing something out of your hands is kinda hard to do if the other person is stronger.
BiC: "That's a bit unfair Matis." Kenshin slide his slim sword and and tossed it near the battle, the blade landing into the ground. "If you insest on duel weilded, at least let her have a way to defend herself."

"I'm not going to fight back. Atleast, not aiming to hurt her." Matis said, getting up, and clearing the dust off his blue coat. "Anyway, she managed to get her sword back." he continued.
"Get Kenshin's sword. I want to see how well can you dual wield weapons." he said to Katara, staring deeply into her eyes. She didn't seem to have trained in that area, and Matis knew how useful it was to have a secondary weapon to defend yourself with.

OoC: that avatar kind of looks like Lady Sia.
BiC: "I'll try my best." Katara said. She swung her sword to the left and Kenshin's to the right, jumping at Matis. She kept swinging them as fast as she could as she got closer to Matis.
The extra weight in her weaker hand slowed her down, so the swords did not spin too fast. She thought that it would be easy for Matis to stop her.

I won't even have to move...
Matis put the scabbard in front of him, in horizontal position, as both blades hit it, stopping right in it's track. With a swift move of the wrist, Matis made Katara spin in the air, falling on her back.
"You are very skilled with your right arm...but you should train your left one too." he said, changing the Mani Katti from hand to hand, as he did several spins, twists and slashes. "I hope you can manage to do this kind of stuff with both hands before Alan and Dray'Gon come back."
I know you can...Just try a bit harder...Hope I'm not being too severe on her. I've only trained male soldiers, and that was just once. I never had to train a female myrmidon before.

Katara just barley managed to stop Matis's blows, and one nicked her side. She threw the sword in her right hand down.
"I'd like to try to train with just my bad side." She said.
She twisted the sword around and lunged at Matis's left arm. She pushed her foot out in mid-lunge and swiched directions, now going twords his right, bringing her sword down as fast as she could.

Matis spun the scabbard around, trying to block the attack, but was surprised by the fast reaction that Katara had taken. She had moved the sword from left to right in less than a second, and Matis right arm was pierced by the Slim Sword. Matis blue coat now had a small hole, and it was starting to turn a dark shade of red due to the blood. Katara took out the sword fast and apologized, but Matis didn't mind. Taking his vulnerary, he applied it to the wound, which healed instantly.
"Good move!" Matis said, smiling. "Now, to get this coat sewed back into it's old shape." he said, calling a soldier that was nearby. The soldier would be back in about an hour, which was really fast, considering he had to go to the tailor on foot. A black sleeveless shirt was below his coat, and now the Elder's Crest was seeable. Matis had made it into a necklace, using a small chain he had found somewhere in the remains of the burnt tribe.
"Let's continue, shall we?" This time, it was for real. Matis had taken the Mani Katti out of it's scabbard. "I'm not going to hurt you, don't worry. It's just that the scabbard seems to make it a bit slower." he winked, as he swung the weapon around a bit, and got into fighting stance.

OoC: what the elder's crest?
BiC: "Nice shirt... If you dont mind me saying.." Katara said. She was a bit unnerved when the blade came out of it's scabbard, but she recovered twisted her sword through the air. She swung at Matis's exposed forearm.
He blocked the blow, and Katara moved backwards, rearing up for another attack.
Katara jumped as high as she could, jamming her sword at Matis from the air. She missed, and the sword got stuck in the ground, her hand still on it. She stopped short in midair, landing on her hand with a crack.
She looked at her hand and tried moving it in a circle. "Ah!" She winced. She could barley move it without feeling a shap pain up her arm. "Oh, great, just great." She said. "Im sorry Matis, I dont think a vulnerary will fix this." She said, getting up. "We should do this again... aftyer I go see a healer..." She mumbled.
