"Alright lets go," said Wylie and began walking.
Don't touch my sisters? Wylie thought. I don't have a problem if you are working on one of them, but you can't reserve them both!
As the group walked, Wylie found himself drifting across to ride next to Alcibie. "It's good to see another healer around," he commented. "What made you get into it? It's never been the most popular choice of profession."
"Oh, and to you Rayl. Where did you hear about Crowley the Magnificent?" Wylie asked, throwing a slight grin at Crow when he said it.

(OOC: awww sorry to hear that Perse [mind if I call ya perse? too lazy to type fully]... )
Rayl rolled his eyes, before looking over to the troubadour,"Well you see, it was awhile back...I was drinking...again...when I had heard a bunch of people mummbling to themselves about zombified heros or whatnot...probably just drunken babble...but the name Crowley the magnificent stuck...but I do wonder: what do they mean by 'magnificent'...oh, and also: what's with that look on your face...hey Crowley, five coins says that your pal Wylie here is thinking thoughts of which are perverse!" he then slowed his horse down, so that he was behind the rest of them, to make sure no one was following them,"Anyways, may we get a more detailed reason in which we travel to Sataruz...? Never was fond of the city...it's beautiful and all, but...there was this waitress at a inn that was looking at me funny every time I went in...kinda creepy, don't you think...?"
It was easy to tell that Rayl was one of the most oblivious people you'd ever meet in your lifetime...

Crowley cut in:
"By Magnificent, they mean I am the best thing that has ever happened to Ostia. Isn't that obvious?" He grinned back at Wylie. 1 - 1 now, brother. He looked at the walking Zeiss.
"Don't you want a horse, mage dude? I mean, Zeiss?" Crowley said. He was eager to claim his reward.

'I prefer walking,' Zeiss answered. 'And it's true. They sure do seem to love Crowley, sometimes I wonder why I bothered to help save this dump.'

[OOC: I keep thinking of Hamlet when I read this post...so yeah, Alcibie get ye off to a nunnery!]
See this is where Rayl plan completely backfires. Alcibie sighed to herself muttering curses at the mounted unit. She had been raised in the church by Father Reeves. Thus she became a cleric because of her up bringing. She did not really feel like being caught in a lie later so a half truth would suffice.
“I was sent to the nunnery.” Alcibie tried to keep a straight face, but really a convent? “It is hard for me to see any other path than the one divine path I am meant to follow.” Alright her face was going to break. Divine Path? Father Reeves had beaten the church into her. She had to pay him back for raising her. End of Story. She did not follow any predetermined plan. Actually all she really wanted to do was drink. She internally cursed the Cavalier for interfering at every turn. She was set to disobey everyone of the churches teachings in her life time and she would!

Ah well, Wylie thought. No reason why we can't still be friends. She's a healer after all.
"Well I respect you for living out your beliefs. That takes conviction," Wylie said in response. "My teacher also chose that path."
Wylie then walked over to Crowley. "So what do you think our chances of encountering trouble on the way to Santaruz are?"
As fate usually works, irony chose this time to rear it's ugly head and so six dirty but intimidatingly large men stepped onto the path in front of them. The leader stepped forward, hefting a chipped but still massive axe.
"Halt! come no further. We have archers surrounding your position from the trees."
Wylie looked around. He could see none so it could be a bluff, but that in no way meant they weren't there. If he were the attacker, he'd conceal his archers too.
The man continued, "Give up your gold and food and you may continue along this path."
Wylie looked around at the others for guidance, unsure of what to do.

Rayl rolled his eyes at the muggers attempts, before riding up from the back of the group, lance ready in hand," Do you possibly think you mice could possibly take on trained warriors like ourselves...? and besides, as knights, we are not without reinforcements...as we speak, we just so happen to be on the way to meet a general...ironically at this very spot, and I do not believe you want to cross weapons with him, no matter how many 'archers' you have around. Now...you may either leave before he arrives, or get slaughtered when he does...take your pick now, I happen to be a not so patient knight myself, and our Mercenary friend Crowley here is even more so."
...Sure he was bluffing also, but hey: at least they had Crowley and Wylie on their side now...what chance did these men have against trained professionals...even if only one of them could actually take on an axe wielder, what with the two lance users, Rayl not getting a sword, and the healers, and...well, he had completly forgotten about the 'mage dude'...

Crowley looked at Rayl. Okay. He was bluffing. Crowley didn't like this situation, he was giving 'surrendering' a thought, but then he would lose his credibility. He thought out a plan. He hopped of his horse.
"Here's my sword. I surrender." Crowley offered his sword to the first bandit. He hold the sword at the tip. Swiftly had lifted the sword so the butt hit the bandit in the face. The bandit, surprised received a blow and had to step back. Crowley took the sword normally in his hand and said:
"Not. Guys, get close to the bandits! They won't risk shooting their men if we're standing close to them! Use them as a shield!"
(OoC: Is this okay with you guys? )

Zeiss had started chanting as soon as he heard "not". A bandit swung at his axe at him but Luna got to the Bandit first.

[OOC: I guess it would be nice if I put her thoughts in italics XP]
Always with the violence and the blood shed. Why can’t we all just get along? …Yeah right. Alcibie was actually concerned though because the horse she was on was starting to scare her with its movements. She automatically moved to calm the mare, but her own personal luck with animals seemed to be rearing its head.
“Oh no…oh no please…” Alcibie was too late the mare had reared up on its hind legs. Alcibie was quick to fall off. The horse took off spooked from the fighting. At least it ran straight through the remaining bandits. A tad bit more chaos to add to the confusion. Alcibie sat on the ground.
…Shiitake Mushrooms! Do not notice me! The mental out cry was worthless though one of the axe bearers had already found and easy target. Alcibie was quick to her feet and even faster into realizing running out of this merry little band would be a bad idea. Alcibie thought for a split second about going back to the church. She froze. There was no way on this earth she was willingly going back there to prove Father Reeves right. Bring it on axe man! Intelligence is a virtue! …I’ll just think something up before you get here…

(OoC: We always do that over here.)
Zeiss saw the man rushing toward the cleric and stepped in. He drew his atention with a Fluxx but it wasn't enough to kill him. Zeiss had to wait a few seconds before he could use his magic again and in that time the bandit got a strike in on the shaman. Zeiss blew him away before he could do any more damage.

Usha had, well, she'd gotten lost, again. The axe flipping thing only worked for so long. Eventually she'd wound up heading north, which was not where she wanted to go.
As she wondered she found a small group of tiny men with sticks and string. Bows... she thought, approaching them with as much silence as such a large woman could. And they look like bandits... Without a second thought, Usha lumbered out of the undergrowth, right behind the archers. She let out a mighty roar, flinging her hand axe with impressive strength into the back of one archer's head (crit ftw!). The others turned suddenly, their mouths falling open in shock at the huge fighter. She stepped forward, lashing out with her fist. It connected with an archer's nose, and he crumpled. By now the others were firing at her. Nerves made most of the arrows miss, but one hit her shoulder and stuck there. "Owie," she said, catching her axe as it returned. She flung it at the archer who shot her.
This was fun.
OoC: Wanted Usha to join up with you guys anyway, and I just happened to be in the area. ^.^

(OoC: Usha mean green killin' machine?)
Crowley dodged an arrow coming from on of the surrounding bushes. A bandit tried to attack him but missed as Crowley kicked him in the b*lls, thus throwing the bandit of balance. He grinned and planted his sword in the man's neck. Blood was everywhere. It tasted horrible.
He looked at the others, they seemed to manage. He also noticed that there were only arrows coming from the other side... this means there must be archers on only one side or the other side didn't decide to show themselves; he shrugged he'll deal with that later. He went for the next bandit, thinking he would manage. He received a blow against the head, knocking him down. He crawled away and got back up and started circling around the bandit. He felt dizzy.

Rayl had obviously been a rather big target, being the fighter who actually fought mounted. He swiftly put distance between himself and and one of the bandits, before he ooked back to Persephone,"Stay amongst the buildings that are not in the archers line of fire!" he shouted, before he looked over to gaze upon the battle...pure chaos...luckily, he saw some archers fleeing, before an axe was throwninto his back," Reinforcments...so soon...?"
Then they sh*t hit the fan...Rayl felt the sharp sting of an arrow to the right arm, making him lt go of the reins, and his horse was also pierced by an arrow, followed by another, and was brought down, crying out in pain before, life sslowly leaving it. The knight, crashing to the ground, crawled to his trusted mount, being the last thing the horse saw before it's eyes shut for the last time...the knight, shook his head to stop the tears, but before he could get up, an axe was swung down, and stopped inches from his neck,"Now...surrender!" Rayl gazed upon the hatred in the man's eyes, as he watched Crowley's rather...unique fighting style out of the corner with his own eye, then swung his lance up, impaling the man right inbetween the...yeah... he howled in pain, before being flung off, then impaled on the wall with another lance thrust. he wiped the blood form his face, before running to dazed mercenary, and tackled the man to the ground, his axe sent flying into the air. he then looked up, and jumped out of the way, as the man's own axe got made contact with his chest. Rayl then turned to hiscomrade, and laughed,"...and with your fighting sytle is why you are called Crowley the Magnificent! When this battle is done, the next drinks are on me...now if you'll excuse me, I'm heading to that armory...remind me to get my weapon from that wall over there later." he pointed a thumb back to the scene of the bandit hanging to the wall the spear through his chest,"War...it's is not a beautiful thing, and yet..." he shrugged, before sprinting to the armory, wilst pulling out the arrow in his shoulder and dodging a smal hail of arrows that seemed to trail behind.

[OOC: *pokes* Zeiss, I could not find if you character wears a hood or not, so I am saying he is, but if he does not I will edit this. Okay?]
Ba-ba…Black eyes? The cleric felt her spine go cold. She had not seen the Shaman’s eyes before. They had been hidden behind the dark cloth. Now that she had. She almost wished she had not.
Who were these people? Alcibie saw the man take the hit for her. She twitched even if he did not. The Shaman had finished the man off letting the body fall. She stared at the dead body then back to the man who had saved her. She tried to smile. She was not sure if she succeeded or not.
“Th-thank you…” Alcibie stuttered out. Thankfully her inner self was not so easily shaken. After delivering a quick mental kick to the rest of her body her hands pulled up the staff. The heal spell was casting even if she was doing it on auto pilot. Where was Persephone? Rayl had to be somewhere too. I swore some one had screamed out. Maybe it was an enemy. I feel sick. I can taste blood in the air. How sickening is that? I can smell it too. The squishing sounds frighten me. I have to move though cannot stop here. I have to find Rayl. I should heal everyone…
