Having left before his other companions, and having taken off at a brisk run to avoid the "singing," Matthias got to the village before the others. He managed to sneak through a hole the bandits had knocked into the wall. "So much for those impressive gates," he muttered to himself, as he stepped into the village. The sight took his breath away, and he had to stop and survey the destruction. Though, it did look like someone had already chased off the bandits, which was definately a good thing. He needed to find someone, and figure out where he was needed. He searched, and quickly spotted a few wyverns stabled near an inn. Muttering under his breath, he approached, hoping that the Ostian colors wouldn't make him a target...

Alexia gulped nervously. She might have bravado, and good riding skills, but taking on two knights was not her idea of a picnic. She quickly readied her lance, just in time to barely avoid a thrust from the first knight. She swung around and nicked the second knight with her lance as she was passing. The slim lance didn't seem capable of denting the armor. She could try, but it didn't look like she would be able to take on knights...
One of the knights managed to stab her leg while she was attempting to manouver. She gasped in pain, but managed to knock him away with her lance. Moving quickly, she whirled Fleetfoot around and stabbed the first knight. Desperate, she looked to Calis. His lance seemed to be handling knights better than her slim one, if only he could manage to help her.

Meanwhile...
Marcus had gotten the report from the wyvern rider, and was worried about things back at the castle. He ordered a few men to help Alan out, and told them to follow any orders the rider gave. Then, he quickly rode towards the castle. As he was riding, he noticed a group of bandits surrounded by someone quite large. It was probably their leader, judging by his impressive physique and commanding air. Marcus quickly sized him up, and decided that he was probably beyond even the paladin's skills. He would have to warn Calis that this man was nearby, for the entire castle was in danger. it also looked like the leader had several strong (promoted) leaders around him. Marcus turned, and quickly went towards the castle, hoping to reach there with the warning. Unfortuantely, he didn't notice the shape in the shadows, which silently followed him.

'Where's all the bandits?' Flyssa muttered turning around, 'WHAT!' Flyssa shouted, forgetting that there could be bandits around, 'Where's Matthias!? And he complains about me hiding, which is not true...' She complained to Rath.
'He's probably hiding somewhere, waiting for the chance to reap all the credit for killing the bandits, after I've weakened them... Well he is NOT going to do that!' Flyssa scrambled around, climbing into the village.

(OoC: Alexia, Marcus sent me to the castle your post doesn't make any sense.) Rushing to the stable, he noticed Matthias sneaking in. 'Silently avoided combat as usual, eh? I have no time for sneak thieves come on, lads!' The boys gave a general laugh and mounted the fearsome beasts, I looked around and saw that Hyperion wasn't there. He put the thought out of his mind, mounted Grimbold and took off.

(OOC: I see switching between third and first person >.>)
'Okay... This place is really boring and scary!' Flyssa commented, looking around at the mass devastation.
'Is that... Wyverns?' Flyssa ran swiftly behind a house and peered at the Wyverns. 'They look weak! I can take them!' She shouted, running up to confront them with her tome in hand.
'Die you and you! Burn!' Flyssa shouted, flinging fire, left and right. 'I call upon the aid of the scorching flames, lay waste to those who oppose me!' (>.>) She chanted as a great ball of fire arose, barely singing (sp? I meant to spell singe or whatever...) the Wyvern rider (s?), she quickly ducked away into a stable (^_^) while a column of smoke covered her escape.
'Whoa! That was fun!' She whispered to herself, 'Now I need to find Rath and the others...'

(OOC: They were allies xD Waah! Also me singing them, kills them Anoher reason, Peg. Knights are better...) Flyssa peered out towards the dead Wyvern riders, 'I guess I don't know my own power...' She murmured, ready to go out and burn the last one. 'Matthias...?' She muttered looking at the entering figure, 'Hey! How dare you leave me alone, unguarded!' She shouted angrily, remembering she had left Rath behind.

Calis had brought down one of the knights with a quick slash to the throat. He and the other were locked in a fierce battle. The only thing that caught his attention was Alexia's cry of pain. Calis turned quickly to see her watching him. Calis ran straight to the knights killing four bandits as he passed them. He spined the Reginlief in the air and then brought it back and stuck it right though the knight. He then pushed the knight off of the lance and did an upward slash at the other knight. The knight stood there for a few seconds then droped to the floor. Calis went up to Alexia. "Im sorry. I wasnt watching you. Are you ok?" The other knight that Calis was previously fighting ran off after seeing what Calis had done to the others. The Santaruz knights finished off the bandits in the main hall which gave time for Calis and Alexia to rest.

Alan and Balin desperately tried to save the young soldiers. One was scorched beyond recognition, another was looking at his absent leg in disgust and the last, a girl was crying in pain. 'Hows Heath!?' 'Gone, didn't try to say anything until it was to late.' I looked about, Grimbolds wing was burned he wouldn't fly properly for a month, two other wyverns were dead and one made. 'Where is Hyperion!' 'He isn't in the stable? He isn't here at any rate, you should take the girl go to Calis and report.' 'Alright, I wil not lose her as well.'

The arrows soared though the sky. "Cover!" Yeo shouted as the bandit arrows neared the village. Yeo saw one of his archers get struck by an arrow. The archer droped to the ground. At this moment Yeo looked around to check his troops. During the whole battle he had done nothing but watch the field from which the bandits came from. There were many of his knights injured or dead in the village. He never realized that the enemy archers were having a better day then his own. The bandits drew closer to the village. Yeo felt that this was the end. He walked out to the front of the gate.
"Knights of Santaruz! He shouted. "Do not fear this bandits! They are pitiful compared to you! They dont have the sprit that we do! We may not live this day, but we will go down protecting out country! Fellow knights started to move towards Yeo. Cheering and chanting as they came. Arrows continued to fly towards the village. "If our country and Lord Calis live tomarrow then our fall was not in vain!" More cheers rang out there the village. "Long live Santaruz! Long live Lord Calis!" "But fall we will not! We will conquer over these bandits thugs!" Some villagers moved to grab what armor and weapons they could find. Some took them off the dead knights that had fallen. One of the villagers shouted. "We will fight as well! This is our village and our country! The same as the rest of you!" Several more cheers rang out. Women and children exited there homes.
"Any villagers that can ran, do so when we open the gates!" Yeo waited a moment. "It has been my honer to command such knights as you!" He turned to face the gate. The soldiers fell slient. All eager to rush onto the field. Yeo looked to the man controlling the gate. "Open the gate!" The gate slowly sqeaked open. Yeo looked out onto the field. The bandits were nearing them. He drew his sword and held it up as did many of the knights. "For our children, women and men! For our workers, and soldiers! For our Lord! For our all our countrymen! For our land!" Yeo paused, closing his eyes and imagined all that he talked about. He took a few steps forward. "For Santaruz!"
The bandits stood still as they saw the barrage of knights, soldiers, and regular men heading towards them.

Alan gave the girl two vulenary. She stopped crying but her life was still hanging in the balance. 'Commander, what happaned back there? All I remember was seeing a little girl.' 'That girl was a sadistic witch, she is supposed to be helping us but it is the fate of wyvern riders to be considered the bad guys. I have met that mage before and I was attacked then as well. What is your name?' 'Miledy, I come from Bern.'
(OoC: Yes, that is right, she is a captain of Bern in FE6 but now she is my righthand)

Matthias simply could not believe what he had just seen. Flyssa had singlehandedly wiped out their entire wyvern brigade of forces. He turned on the mage.
"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!??" he shouted at her, his hands flying up in rage. "How about finding out if someone is on our side before you decided to hurl balls of flame at them. Next time, you'll end up toasting some lord! How is someone supposed to protect you properly if you're pulling stupid crap like this out?"
Matthas ranted for a few more minutes, but for the sake of decency, it will not be placed here. He approached the wyvern riders, tossing aside his weapon, and holding out his nearly depleted vulnerary.
"I'm really sorry about my stupid companion. I don't assume wyvern riders are the bane of all human existence, here," he held out the vulnerary towards Alan, who was tending the most wounded of the riders.
OoC: you are actually here, right? Flyssa just attacked, and you were helping people, so I'm assuming....

Alexia nodded, her exaustion showing in her features. She may have been trained, but that was different from actual combat. She gave Calis a smile, hoping to assuage his fears. "I am quite fine, m'lord," she told him, straightening in the saddle. "And I thank you for your kind assistance, m'lord." Her gaze took in Calis, standing there in the blood of the enemy. He had stopped fighting to give her attention, and that fact alone made her blush. "Umm... shouldn't we be focusing on the combat? Err... M'lord..." she looked hesitant, unsure of where to go from there.
