Usha wearily eyed Crowley. So far his reputation seemed to be built more on his ability to lie than his ability to fight, so they shouldn't be that far apart in terms of actual skill. Of course, the weapon disadvantage would be bad.
"Should be entertaining," she replied, shifting her axe into a more battle-ready pose. "You want go first?"
OoC: Yeah, training good, especially considering our low levels... And I just realized that when Crowley promotes he become a "hero." Irony, much?

(OoC: Haha, yeah, perhaps And Crowley is a dirty fighter, so beware!) "Okay, thanks Wylie." He threw a dirty look at Wylie but grinned immidiately. He wasn't mad, he knew that he was a liar, but a damn good one! Besides it wasn't lieing if you knew it was false what you were telling, it's only lieing when you believe what you say. "Let's do this." He smiled and started circling Usha, eyeing her moves, he seemed to be ready to leap at her any moment. While circling her he took some dirt in his hand and rapidly threw it at Usha's face, while rushing towards her. He was going for a direct hit at her chest.

Usha had been watching Crowley circle, not moving herself. Instead, she tensed her entire body, waiting for the mercenary to make the first move. When he threw the dirt, she had been ready. Her massive arm raised up, catching most of the debris. Expecting a direct attack, she side stepped, and brought her arm down hard, hoping to catch Crowley by surprise.

One of Zeiss eyes slowly slid back open. Crowley's gonna get his clock cleaned for sure.

Crowley felt the power of the hit going through his arm, but luckily he had speed. He rapidly recovered from the hit, and then decided to go for another tactic. He was going to stay near Usha. This way she couldn't use her axe and only her fists. Okay, it was risky, but if she couldn't block one of his attacks, she would be in for some pain. He slashed at Usha's face, hoping she wouldn't block it with her axe.
He was staying close to this woman. Very strange for the normally cowardly Crowley.

Crowley was much faster than Usha. She realized this, and knew that she had to make every hit count. Noting the slash, she jerked her axe up. She blocked most of the hit, feeling it connect hard with the axe. A bit of the sword managed to knick her hand, dealing a little damage.
Growling, she kicked out, hoping to at least get some space between the two of them.

Crowley felt the stomp going through his body. He had to step back. This could be fatal, now Usha could use her axe, and he wasn't going to get close to her in time. So he decided to get back. Now they were back at the starting point. Crowley decided to stay as far away from Usha as possible, and attack her after a heavy swing from her. Then he would be able to get close once again. He must be careful to not let Usha getting too close. A hit from that axe could be fatal.

Usha was pleased that her push-off had achieved such success. Crowley was now too far away to easily counter from a good throw. Of course, if she threw wrong, the axe could be knocked away. Very likely, given the fact that Crowley had a sword and would be expecting it.
She roared, and hurled the axe at the mercenary, hoping to hurt him. At the least it should require his attention. Then, she charged after him, fist cocked back. She might have to take a sword blow, but she should be able to hurt Crowley more than he hurt her...

"SHITE" He yelled! This woman was mad! Throwing an axe straight at him? He barely dogded and while walking backwards he stumbled, fell on his bottom and saw -buggrit- Usha coming closer. He mumbled some curses and hold his sword ready. she will need to dive right on him if she wanted to get close, she'll have to wrestle. IF she could make Crowley lose his sword. And even if that happened, Crowley had a trick or two.

Wylie watched the melee with intense interest. The two were back and forth constantly with only small amounts of damage being dealt at a time. This seemed to be turning into an endurance contest.
He handled his staff idly, waiting for a result. This was as much his training session as it was theirs and he had to be ready to jump immediately into action.

Usha did indeed dive, wriggling to get out of the path of that sword. It would hurt, even if Wylie would heal it later. Besides, a good fighter avoided injury, they didn't seek it out.
She saw her axe fly over her head as it returned, grimacing at the temporary loss of weaponry. She couldn't very well dive and snatch it out of the air.

(OoC: Muh? Axes can fly back? Awesome.)
Crowley wasn't lucky today. Usha got past his sword but he had succeeded in stabbing her leg. Too bad he didn't have to worry about her legs (he never worried about woman legs) but about her arms, and more specifically, her fists. He let go of his sword that was somewhat stuck in her leg, it wasn't too deep, he had lacked the force to get it deep in her leg. Now he had to defend himself against those horrible fists of Usha, and she was too heavy to push off. He smiled when the axe flew over Usha's head, she was distracted for a mere second, but that was enough for Crowley, he threw a rain of punches at Usha, he didn't hit really hard, but he did it fast and he knew where to hit.

OoC: That's how we decided the hand-axe works.
Usha felt the blade enter her leg and winced. Even if there hadn't been a lot of strength behind the blow, it still hurt. She let a few of Crowley's punches hit her, responding with a good right wallop of her own.

Tobias was walking down the path to araphen and caught sight of some people wrestling on the ground. He did not recognize them, but they seemed to be just practicing, as the people watching didn't seem to be cheering or anything so much as waiting. There was a hand axe stuck in a nearby tree, but Tobias didn't pull it out. It was very easy for people to misunderstand people who grab their stuff. He smiled to himself, remembering the people who understood exactly what was happening when he tried that ten years ago. Well, that's over now, he thought. The sparring seemed to be getting interesting, so Tobias decided to wait a while and watch.

Wylie saw the newcomer and saw it as a chance at conversation. This match was dragging on and Zeiss was his his usual moodily silent self. Wylie raised his hand in greeting, "Evening, traveller."
It seemed like the myrmidon didn't mean any harm, but all the same, Wylie didn't immediately walk over to him.
"What brings you down this road?"
