"Well I know Matis is strong, it's Matthias I'm worried about. He seems like he can make poor choises. We also might know Sacae but that doesn't mean it's going to be ok, Matis and Matthias is going to one place while we're traveling all of Sacae. When you're ready we'll head back to town."

"I'm ready whenever you are..." Katara said, lying back to look at the stars, "we're going to stop at my village, right? maybe they can provide some troops for our cause."

"That's what I was hopeing you would do. I rather stay out here then go back to town. It's nice and peacefull here." Kenshin closed his eyes as a breeze came in. "Do you know how Sokka feels towards me. Like does he dislike me or like me, because if he don't like me I don't want to tell him right away becuase I might say something to upset him even more."

"Sokka? He's a hard person to read, even for me. But I do know that he doesn't like how you left us under Matis's command and took off on your own," Katara said, "but he's a nice guy. He'll warm up to you."

"That's the thing, I'm not sure if I'll warm up to him. I don't like how he just left you with a group of guys he hardly knew. You could of been killed when we were fighting Sonia and he would of never knew how you died.
"He's takeing haveing everybody in his family alive for grante. Matis grew up without his parents and lived with my family, then our whole village was killed, he knows I'll be fine traveling with you and Ryan. I know he's stronger then me, and I sent Alan with him just to make sure nothing happened. Family shouldn't just leave each other the be with the one they say they love." Kenshin hoped he didn't upset Katara.

"Like I said, Sokka is complicated. before we joined, we often traveled alone. We always set a meeting point, and we always got back with each other. The truth is, he didn't want to leave. I told him to, I noticed that he was acting kind of depressed, and I knew why. Call it a sister's intuition, but I made him go." Katara said. She hoped Kenshin wouldn't take the truth too hard.

"In times like this it's stupid to travel alone. What if he ran into that group of mages before us. But enough of this, it's ruining our nigth together." Kenshin sat up. "It's kinda getting late, I want to head out early tommorrow so I guess it's time to go back."

"Okay," Katara said. They wlaked back to the inn together. Kenshin, I had a great time tonight," Katara said, kissing him on the cheek brofe heading to her room. She changed out of her dress and washed her makeup off.
Not feeling tired, she climbed up on to the room from her balcony. Rain clouds had moved in, covering the stars she had come up to look at and ask for guidance from.
"I can't see your star, no, I can't see your...star. Though I've been patiently waiting, bedside, for the death of today.
I can't see your...star. the the shadow cast by a raincloud... frightened it away.
And I'm alone now me and that I stand for we're wandering now, All fall to pieces swim lonely, find your own way out!
I can't see your star! But how can the darkness feel so warm?
And I'm alone now. Me and all that I stand for, fall to pieces! and float away! swim lonely, find your own way out!
I can't see your star!
yeeaah... nothing worth fighting for!
All my tears turned to rage!
And I'm alone now."
She sang loud and clear over and over, not noticing the crowd that ahd gethered at the foot of the inn to listen.

Among the crowd was a shady character standing to the side. He was wrapped in a long, dark cloak and was hooded, it was as if he was attempting to conceal himself from everyone else. He listened intently to the young girl sing. As the song came to an end, he closed his eyes and smiled. He threw his hood off revealing his scarred face and approached the inn. If the man were attempting to sneak about, it would do no good for every step he made you could hear the clank, clank of his armor.
When he first entered the inn, the person at the counter asked "Good evening sir. How may I serve you?" The man in the cloak briefly observed the person at the counter. "Serve? You can serve me well. Tell me, who is that young girl singing on the balcony?" The man at the counter thought about it, but he finally remembered.
"Oh yes! She and another man came here recently. They are both apparantly from Sacae-"
"As I thought." The man interrupted. He began making his way to the stairs when the man at the counter stopped him.
"Sir, you must purchase a room to go up there, you know," the man said. The cloaked man smirked a bit and threw his cloak off, revealing the lance he had very well hid. He grabbed the helpless old man by the shoulder and forced the man on his knees. The man cried for help but the innkeeper was elsewhere.
"Your pleas feed my strength, peon." The cloaked man said. He bent down and was nearly nose-to-nose with the inn worker. "You might want to practice kneeling, you shall be doing it quite often in the very near future." The cloaked man left the man kneeling, afraid to move, and headed up the stairs.
The man approached the door of which the girl was singing and knocked hard on the door.

Kenshin had been in his room just stareing at his sword after he and Katara went their own ways. "I can't become soft, he'll beat me if I do. I need to work on my skills, I know I was one of the best students of master becuase I was able to read other's movements but without the proper training I needed for that style will I be able to do it still? What the heck is that sound?" Kenshin heard a voice, it was singing. He reconized it as Katara's voice. "That's the same voice I heard that one night in my sleep." Shortly after he heard the sound of metal clanking then pounding on the door.
Kenshin cracked his door open and seen they were at Katara's room so he opened it and steped out. He had his right arm hidden in the door way, holding the Falcatta just in case. "Excuse me sir, who might you be?"

Katara jumped back into her room and saw a heavily armoured man. She also noticed Kenshin in the background. "How may I help you, my lord knight? I am not but a traveling gypsy spreading the love of song," she said to the man, he eyes flicking from him to Kenshin and back. Her sword was too far away for her to grab, but she saw that Kenshin's sword arm was hidden behind the door. She hoped he was hiding what she thought he was...

The man had glared at the red-haired swordsman without even noticing the young, singing woman. The red-haired swordsman gave the man a feeling that he had not experienced for many years: fear. OOC: I'm tired of saying "the heavily armored man, the swordsman, the young girl, etc. so I'm just going to start saying their names. Macbeth could only think of one thing. Would this man be able to kill me?Macbeth would soon learn that fear expands his ambition. He smirked and moves his eyes to Katara, and then back to Kenshin. He could sense a relationship between these two. Why else would Kenshin be in his business? But that was not important. Macbeth needed the young girl to begin is campaign. And where would be a better place to start it then Sacae? Macbeth turns to Katara but keeps his lance arm ready, prepared to defend himself from Kenshin. "A travelling gypsy?!" Macbeth laughed. His deep voice shook the room. "I would not waste time on a matter of such low importance. I am here because you are Sacaen!" And with that Macbeth grabbed the arm of Katara and slammed the door shut. He ended up putting his lance down, picked the young girl up below the arm pits, and held her right in front of the door. He knew what was coming next.

Dirk rode into the small village, viewing it as a town he wanted to leave as soon as possible, he made his way to a small shop with the supplies he needed.

Kenshin took a step forward lungeing his foot into the door. The force from the impact had knocked Kenshin down and the door didn't budge. "I can't get in, he's got it shut too tightly." Kenshin then got up and rushed towards the first floor. He seen somebody that looked like they could help. "There is a man holding somebody dear to me hostage in room 24, I can't knock down the door so can you?" Kenshin asked.
Before even saying anything the man started to head upstairs. "Ok, he'll think I'm still trying to get in from the door so he'll not expect me from the window." Kenshin ran out side and tried to find Katara's room from the outside. Finding something to give him the boost he needed Kenshin was able to get onto the balcany. He made his way into the room unnoticed till he seen a young woman.
He had gone into the wrong room. "What room is this mam?" The lady was paniced that a man came in from the balcany. "This... This is room... 27" Kenshin had left the room as quickly as he entered and made his way in the right direction and found the corect room. He seen a man holding Katara. "Hey you liveing corpse, let her go." His tone of voice was an angry one, filled with rage. If looks could kill, this man would be in alot of pain just from the way Kenshin was stareing at him.

Katara writhed in the knight's arms. "Cur!" she yelled. Then she noticed her back was against the door. "What do you want with me, you swine!?" she asked the knight. She looked for an unarmored place on this knight... Just then Kenshin entered the room through the window. "Kenshin!" She siad. The knight looked at Kenshin, so Katara took this moment to finally kick out, reaching his...area.
