Alan casted a hopeful look back at his pursuers. No, they're not going to back down even for this. I guess from their point of view, I'm likely to be an accomplish to all this destruction. Alan turned around. 'It's too bad, former comrades!' He called out to them. 'You all seem very skilled but I'm in a hurry.' Alan grabbed the Steel Blade, the one they would have the hardest time avoiding and charged back at them with a mad fire in his eyes. 'HAAAAAAA!'

OOC: Since you only said you were charging and not attacking I will treat it as such.
IC:
The soldiers scattered as Alan approached, save for one of the riders who pulled his lance high and similarly charged the Wyvern Lord. He went in for a deep thrust to try and get in before the blade could land, while the other riders circled around and attempted to get into formation again.

OoC: I was totally attacking, whatever I'll go with it.
BiC: Alan saw the lance and, there not being time for anything else, he turned his Steel Blade 90 degrees, the large flat side of the blade made contact with the point of the lance.

The riders wasn't expecting such a skillful block, and his lance flew from his hands thanks to the recoil from the block of the superior weapon. Regaining his composure he pulled a javelin from his back and hurled it at Alan.
As this was happening, two other riders made diving attacks on Alan, attempting to catch him off guard.

Alan also dived as the rider pulled the javelin of his back, as to out run the two coming toward him. As soon as he was under neath the first rider he slashed his Steel Blade at the wyvern's belly.

The wyvern was smart enough to dodge the sword, but the rider wasn't skilled enough to hold on, and was thrown from his mount. One of the two moving to engage Alan moved to intercept his falling comrade, as the last continued his attack on Alan.
Pulling back his lance he thrust straight for the chest.

The lance hit his armor, but was enough to make Alan lose balance. And in Alan's case there was no one to catch. He fell several feet and hit the ground. Drifting in and out of conciousness he put his fingers to his mouth and whistled. Grimbold recognised the command. He retreated and flew back to Sacae. But the wyverns riders paid him no heed as they landed by their former comrade. Alan had been defeated.
