"Hey I'll draw some of the bandits off by running the other way, you guys use that time to escape." Kenshin put away his slim sword away "Meet me back in Ostia.." Was the final words he said and he sprinted towards the group of bandits, drawing his sword and slashing the frist one in his way and continuted as he ran by.

Alright, take care and don't throw your life away to carelessly.' He then ran away from the combat and incidentally, straight into Matthias and Flyssa's direction.

"Sain, let's meet at Ostia as sson as we can."
Is Kenshin gonna be ok...? He hesitated a second before turning around and starting to run, following Jaffer's lead.

Matthias prodded his companion with his finger. Obviously his request had stunned her into silence.
"Look, we're not going to be able to fight off all these bandits right now. We're lacking in the necassary numbers. I want you to light the forest on fire so that the bandits will be too worried about saving their base and what not to bother with us. Then, you can scamper off into the woods to cuddle bunnies, whatever, I don't really care. I need you to do this one little thing," he knew he probably sounded a little demanding, but the longer they jabbered, the more danger the lords, and whoever else happened to be helping them, were in trouble. His gaze swung towards the woods, where he heard someone coming. Maybe, there wouldn't be enough time for his plan to be put into motion.

Jaffer ran past Matthias yelling to him: 'Run, run, I don't know how long Kenshin can hold them!'

Calis turned towards the other lords. "Im sorry we havent had the chance to meet but would you mind if I met with you guys at Ostia as well. I only have to make a detour to Santaruz. And may I also trouble any of you for a Vulnerary. My wound is starting to open again due to the fighting."

'Yes, giving you my vulnerary will trouble me, but I'll give you it to you anyways.' Flyssa grabbed the vulnerary from beneath her cloak, 'You should be thankful, in fact, you should have to pay me for saving you!' Flyssa paced around.
'What type of slavery should I set upon you?' She quizzed herself, handing Calis the vulnerary.
'I better light up the forest first, well here goes!' She lifted her tome up and faced the part of the forest where Kenshin should be. As she held her hand in the air, two columns of red flames jumped from the ground. Flyssa moved her hand downwards, and the column merged together, turning into a fireball, which hit the trees, igniting them.
'Now I get to cuddle with bunnies.' She said sarcastically.

Matthias nodded, satified that she finally did as he asked of her. Only one thing, then they can run like hell.
He darted into the clearing, trying his best to manevour silently through the trees (and staying one step ahead of the forest fire). He finally came out at the point where Kenshin faced off against the bandits. Surprisingly, Kenshin was holding his own, despite being outnumbered. The hulking bandits coudln't touch the sword user. Matthias grinned, and quickly launched an arrow. Hopefully, that would catch Kenshin's attention.

Jaafer sees Matthias shot off the arrow, realizing that a bit of battle cannot be avoided any longer he takes position.

Unfortunately for the two warriors, the bandits happened to notice the arrow that flew into one of their number. A few of them broke off from swinging at Kenshin, and charged the myrmidon/archer combo. Matthias gulped, as the last thing he wanted right now was a fight against overwhelming numbers. He stepped back into the forest, trying to take shelter (a.k.a. hide) amongst the trees.

Jaffer looked over his shoulder and noticed to his great chock that he had no support save Florina who, though healed was sleeping and was carried for Jaffer for the last few miles. 'Damnation! There coming for me! no escape! Just me, no diversion, no hiding, no easy way out, time to see what I am made off.' And that said he charged the bandits.

Matthias chuckled as he heard Jaffar acting brave. No support, right. He carefully knocked an arrow, and aiming through the underbrush, let it fly. It sunk into a bandit's arm, forcing him to drop his weapon. If Jaffar could at least keep them distracted (and Matthias was betting the fierce Sacean could do more), then Matthias could pick them off from his forested perch, at least, until the woods went up.

'Heh,' Flyssa smiled, waiting for the battle to end, 'It is far too hot!'
Flyssa sat underneath the shade of the tree, lifting her tome, ready to support the army.

While fighting bandits the bandits Jaffer noticed the arrows. 'Matthias is lurking in the bushes, great pal he turned out to be. Sain and Matis are probably in Lycia by now, that mage-girl I saw earlier disappeared to, Florina ran away, I have got to get closer to Kenshin. At least a fellow Sacean wouldn't back out on me.'

Matis was already a km away from the forest. He thought about the rest, but by the time he'd get to where they were, they'd be dead.
And the forest was burning down, so he might get trapped in the hell the forest was now too.
"I gotta get to Ostia's castle as soon as I can. If no one's there by the time I get to the castle, I'll bring back reinforcements."
Matis then ran as fast as he could. Trees, roads, towns...everything passed by very fast. He didn't have time to check anything at all, for one because he couldn't waste any second to stop, and for two, because he was running so fast, that it were only mere seconds before he had already ran past the towns in the path.
