Grass, grass and more grass. That would be Alan's report in a a nutshell. They had flown for some hours now and that was all they saw. This did mean that they had reached the plains and Lyndsey had (if only accidentally) flown correctly. At last Alan spoke up. 'Alright, we're going to take a small break. Follow me down.' Alan started his descent.

OoC: Congrats on hitting 500 posts. Enjoy that blue gem.
Lyndsey heard Alan's command, and motioned for the trainees to head down. She kept back a little, observing the area to make certain there weren't any traps or surprises waiting for them. It wasn't too odd that they hadn't run into any Saceans yet, but Lyndsey didn't want to take any unnecessary chances. She kept a sharp eye...

(OoC: Yeah, I dunno if I'll get a light Brand or a Silver Lance. iwant the magical weapon, but I may need silver weapons against a Hero.)
As the trainees dismounted and sat on the ground, thankful for being back on hard ground Alan flew backup and cornered Lyndsey. 'What do you think? Should we try to contact one of the others now or later?'

"The best bet would be Bulgar," Lyndsey admitted. "Though I've got no idea how one of us would get away from them. And I'm still nervous about archers." She looked over the trainees, none of which looked like they were on their guard. "Just how green are these soldiers anyway?" she asked no one in particular.

'I don't think this is their first time on a wyvern, but it is probably th first time they left Bern.' Alan thought. 'They probably know that Bulgar isn't our objective, but if we find Matis or one of the others on th plains perhaps we can fool them.'

"Sure, and if we happen across a legendary weapon along the way, so much the better. Seriously Alan, there's about an equal chance of us stumbling across a magical artifact then running into another group that happens to be traveling in Sacae. It's huge, which is something none of those groups were..." she trailed off, shaking her head. Just mentioning it reminded her of how insane they all were. She wanted to stay quiet for a while, and was determined to do so. She'd let her mouth run ahead of her head too often lately.

'Well excuse me for trying to keep these guys from walking into their inevitable and agonizing deaths!' Alan replied crossly, turning a few of the trainees heads. Alan continued a lot more softly but no less sharp. 'If you've got a better idea then hear it.'

"Are we talking about the trainees or the others?" Lyndsey asked, looking for clarification. She crossed her arms over her chest. "The others knew what they were getting into. I don't see them having problems. As for this lot." She jerked her head to the trainees. "It would probably do them good to get shot at. A large group of Sacaen archers would slaughter them though."

'They wouldn't last half a second if we ran into Matthias at Bulgar. But then again, travelling in a group of Wyvern riders ; neither would you. I don't want to get them killed alright.' Alan looked down at the youngsters who had started a campfire. 'Let's just take off right now.'

Lyndsey smirked, remembering the cocky, scruffy archer. "Yeah, let's just get out of here," she agreed. She snapped an order at the trainees, who looked startled. One of them almost burnt herself on part of the fire. Lyndsey shot Alan a quick glance, and hopped on Priya.

'Yeah, quickly!' Alan took off in the direction of Bulgar. It took the trainees far too long too realise that they were deserted too mount a pursuit.

Lyndsey launched into the air, following Alan. Apparently they were heading east... what was in the east of Sacae... Bulgar? she thought. An odd destination.. unless he was trying to get trainees killed.

Alan was completely lost in the fast plains of Sacea, even from high up everything looked the same.
