OoC: Huh?
IC: Katara finished packing told Kenshin, "I'll meet you downstairs in a bit, I have some things to do first."

ooC: yeah, he controlled my character w/o my permission, which is against the rules.
Alexia had followed Alan to the seat and sat across from him. She'd approach the subject when the time was right, she knew what it was like to lose a loved one. Instead, she simply asked the waitress to bring them breakfast, and sat, patiently waiting for Alan to say something.
OoC: ignore Alan's post, in other words.

OoC; I deleted my previous post, just take it of my post count.
BiC: 'I'll have whatever she's getting, please.' Alan said, though he hadn't listened to Alexia's order. When the waitress left he felt compelled to break the painful silence. 'So, how was Erturia?'

Alexia looked away. "Tough. We lost several over there, and had quite a bit of difficulty. I'm not even sure how things are going over there as we speak," she sighed. "And I don't know what happened to the few of us that did walk out of there. Sometimes it feels like Death's following me everywhere I go."

'At least, when this is over, you'll have a home and family to go back too. Not everyone can say that. Don't forget that.' Alan's eyes turned back to the window again.

Alexia stared at Alan for a while. "My family was killed long before I ever joined the Pherean military. My home was burned to the ground by bandits," she explained, her voice oddly emotionless. It happened so long ago, and she was getting used to all the suffering.

'I'm sorry, I didn't know that.' Alan looked at Alexia in a different light then he usually did. He could imagine how strong of will a person had to be to be alone at so from so young an age. He remembered when his biological parents died and he and Rath were ripped apart for several years. She might understand. 'Alexia, can you keep a secret? With Lyndsey gone nobody else knows this...'

Alexia set up a little straighter. Alan was acting odd. She was used to the bluster and sarcasm, what was with the sudden seriousness? "Of course I can keep a secret," she stated. She smiled sadly. "I'm probably going to be taking several to the grave."

'The Bern Army didn't kill Lumino, I did.' Alan tried to find words to put behind it but couldn't find them. I had hoped talking about it would make him feel better but the opposite was true.

Sokka and a few others walked in Bulgar. The rest of the tribe had stayed back outside of Bulgar, as to not crowd the streets. "Okay, we have to find Katara and Kenshin, then find out our next move," Sokka said. "Let's split into groups of two," he added.

Alexia was stunned for several seconds. She leaned back in her chair, and jumped when the server finally arrived with the food. Even with the steaming plate in front of her, she simply stared at Alan for several moments. "You killed Lumino?" She didn't wait for him to respond. "We have friends dieing all around us and you go and kill off one? Was there a good reason? Perhaps he was possessed or you were forced or..." she trailed off. How was she supposed to handle this?

'He was going to try and kill Kenshin.' Alan said. 'You see, Lumino loved Katara and I guess he couldn't stand seeing them together. Now we both know the odds Lumino would have against Kenshin. there was no danger in that department. But i don't think Lumino would have been able to stand Katara's reaction if he turned on them. I wanted to spare him that.'

Alexia picked at her food, even taking the time to chew a piece or two. It helped her gather her thoughts. "I see..." she finally said, "kill Kenshin? Are you certain... No, wait. If you weren't you probably wouldn't have killed him. You're not that much of a bas...." Alexia cut herself off, stuffing some food in her mouth. Once she'd chewed and swallowed, she continued. "Was killing him really the only option?"

'Lumino may look hrmless at time but he really is a Son of Hartmut... Let me put it this way Alexia.' Alan pulled of his torsoarmor, revealing burnwounds over the majority of his chest. 'I wouldn't have been able to take him in alive.'
