Kenshin had gathered the little things he had left and grabbed the ropes to Hanon's coffin and started to drag it, with everybody following him. He would refuse any help to take her to his home. He didn't want to travel in complete silence. "So Alexia, you never answered me earlier, what's your plans after this is over?"

Katara marched next to Kenshin. Sokka was behind them with Dirk. He had told most of his warriors to help out at the Santaruz castle, and others to help rebuild their village. However, Alivan came with them. Katara was glad their old friend and great warrior had come with them.

OOC: It'd be a waste to make a new thread for us, so I'll post here. I'll assume our groups have not met up yet.
IC: It had been a long trip, but they had crossed the border into Sacae. Aerious wasn't quite sure how to navigate on the ground, so he looked to Matis.
"Well? Which way is your home?"

The trip from Ilia to Sacae had gone with almost no word being said. They had followed the snowy plains all the way around the mountains, and were now close to the middle of the Sacae Plains. Matis then turned, almost startled by Aerious' voice.
"Hard to say for sure", he stopped, looking towards the sky. "If I'm not mistaken, though..." he started looking around him.
"It should roughly be to the east" he said, pointing more or less to his left. "A couple of days walking should be enough to get us there, I hope"

Well, almost no word being said. Matthias had been whining and complaining, but Matis had probably learned to block him out... "Let's hope so..." Matthias agreed. "I'm real damn sick of walkin' all over the place. I mean, hell, couldn't we have borrowed some horses or something.

OoC: Gah, gets confusing have two of my chars in one thread...
Alexia looked at Kenshin, a little surprised at the question. Why did he want to know that? "I haven't given it much thought... really. I originally figured I'd just return home... but there's nothing there but bad memories now. And doubtless they'd have me working to repair Ostia..." she trailed off. She didn't particularly relish the idea of working for that. "I suppose the answer is that I don't know what I'm going to do."

OoC: Its not that confusing I used to do it all the time.
BiC: Kenshin had known nothing about her, he barely knew her name and he wanted to get to know her better, along with the others. "So wheres home?"

"Pherae. Actually, Matthias and I lived within just a few miles of each other. Grew up together and all that," she smiled at the old memories. "Of course, that just meant that the bandits were able to get both our homes..."

Lost everything to bandits, Kenshin knew the feeling. He knew he was happy living the simple life on the plains, who knows she might too. "Well when we stop this madness Katara and myself was was going to start a new tribe, for any Sacaens without a home. I would be honored if you would accept my offer to join us." Even though he was getting tired while dragging Hanon he kept on going.

Alexia was surprised at the offer. Part of her wanted to accept immediately. Her time spent in Sacae had been wonderful, and she loved the country. Still, she wasn't so sure she could just abandon her duty... "Give me time to think about it, I'll most likely agree, but I have to get things squared away first..." she trailed off, noticing his struggling. "Do you require assistance in that?"

Aerious spotted something first. He wasn't quite sure what it was, because it was still quite a ways off.
"There is...something up ahead. I can't tell what..."

Kenshin felt it was his duty to do this, his alone. "Thanks for the offer but I've got it."
After a few hours of travel there was something in the distance, Kenshin didn't speak. When they got there Kenshin seen a headstone for almost everybody, this brought a tear to his eye. "Looks like the other villages near by did this." Letting go of the ropes he started to look at the names that was poorly put on. 'Kalaruth' Kenshin read out loud as he stopped in front of one. "I'm home for now father."

"Something ahead? I see nothing" Matis said, reacting to Aerious' comment. "Do dragons have heightened eyesight?" he asked, more curious than anything else.
It had been quite a few hours since they had entered Sacae. They shouldn't be far from where the tribe last stood.

Aerious couldn't entirely hide his arrogance. "And hearing, and smell and even taste, yes. There is some kind of structure ahead, but it looks far too small to be any kind of encampment. Maybe, something destroyed perhaps..." He let the sentence drift off.

"Yeah, I think I see something too..." Matthias squinted into the distance. He was used to seeing small target from far off... "I'd have to agree with Aerious... Looks like some sorta ruin or somethin'... Unless Saceans don't know how to build houses..."
