Kenshin and his group traveled to Bulgar. Kenshin didn't say a word to anybody during the trip. After what seemed like a long trip they finnaly made it. "Ok we're going to spend the rest of the day here. Buy everything you need and rest up. Meet here at sun rise or be left behind." With that he had left looking for a tailor's shop.

"Well he isn't the nicest fellow but oh well" thought Danaris as he went to town. He didn't really know what he would do in the city. He patted his horse that he was almost always on. He decided to go to the market. When he got there he saw a guy draw his sword on the market leader.
" I'm bankrupt and hungry so give me some money."
Danaris though he might as well help the market leader so he shot his arrow at the sword guy. But his aiming wasn't top notch and accidentally shot the Market leader. Oops. The people who saw the guy get shot started screaming and ran away. Some Sacaen soldiers heard the noise and went to check it out. Danaris decided the best thing to do would be run away. He plucked out a Vulnerary and tossed it to the guy he shot while the robber decided to pickpocket the guy while he was hurt. He bolted away as the soldiers checked out the what happened. "Crap, that sure could have gone better."

Matthias yawned, stretching. He had enjoyed the nice pleasant stroll through heathen Sacaean country. At least with his bow he didn't look too horribly out of place.
He wandered the streets, eying other people. Unlike the rest of the group, Matthias was finally loaded with money. After all, he'd been "Regent of Ostia," which he'd taken to mean "I can take whatever the heck I want out of the vaults."
Besides, he was due a lot of back-pay.
Of course, there wasn't anything worth buying... He was already skilled, and had a good deal of weapons. "I could use a new longbow or something," he muttered, looking at weapons.

After buying what looked close to the tattered outfit that he start this whole mess started. Going to the other part of the market he got healing items. Wondering around he saw an old ally and went to them. "Hey Matthias, long time no see."

Danaris decided to lay low for awhile. He didn't have nearly enough money to buy anything.
"That arrow was for me, wasn't it?"
Danaris turned and saw the guy who he tried to shoot earlier. "How did you find me?"
"Its quite easy to track a horse." The guy took out his sword and challenged him.
Danaris pulled his horse back and readied an arrow. He shot but the mercenary dodged out of the way. The mercenary rolled behind the horse and swung at Danaris. Danaris yelped in pain. Then he heard a thump and heard the mercenary yelp in pain . He turned around and saw a hoof mark on the fallen mercenary's stomach. "I won my first fight" He commanded the horse to crouch down a bit and checked the guys supplies. He had a vulnerary. "Hey that was my vulnerary! He must of took it from the market leader." He used on him which made him feel better. He checked what else he had but he had practically nothing. That guy really was bankrupt. He heard the guy groan.
"I'll let him live." he thought. He decided to get away from there before he waked up.

Matthias chuckled, looking away from the weapons to one of the men who'd gotten him into this crazy mess.
"You talk like we haven't seen each other in ages! We've been travelin' for a while now," Matthias pointed out. "You drink too much fire water already?"

"Well this is the first time we've spoke since we joined back up. I've been meaning to ask you since we started coming this way, I know your skilled with the bow and I've been getting interested in useing one so could you teach me how to use it?" That thought has entered his mind since the battle against Hanon, so if he couldn't make it to the front line to battle he'll still be usefull in the fight.

Matthias cocked an eyebrow at Kenshin, smirking at him. "What, the sword not enough for ya?" he joked. "I suppose I could teach ya. In return you can help me with swingin' my sword, since I'm more likely to put my own eye out."
He waved to the swords that hung from his belt.

"Sorry, I'm not looking for somebody to teach right now. Plus over half the time I go on instinct." Kenshin looked around. "What would you say if we leave now and leave that other guy behind?"

Matthias looked over at the weapons. Chances were that the other guy would just wind up being in the way, much like Crowley had been during the fight with Roland...
"Have fun teachin' yourself how ta shoot then," Matthias replied, glancing over at Kenshin. "Cuz I don't work for nothin', you ought ta know that by now."
He thought more about dragging along some clueless Sacean. He wasn't Alexia to go giving everyone tons of chances.
"We can always use somebody ta throw in the way of the bad guys. Hell, better him than me."

Danaris wandered around the city bored. He wondered if he should have joined the group on western islands. He didn't know they would be teleported. He also wondered how Saru and Rael were doing. The only reason he joined this group in the first place was because of them. He went to the market to buy some food. "I wonder what these guys i'm traveling with are going to do." He muttered. "I know! I won't show up and follow them to see what their beef is." He bought some extra food and headed back to the meeting place but not quite.

"You mean you get paid to do nothing? You've most likely yet to be back to Ostia since we left but when I come to you asking for help you want to be paid? If that's the case what does Zeiss was it look like? Becuase I know you're not being paid by me and I don't think anybody else is paying you to be here so I might have to go alone looking for him." Kenshin thought about hireing mercanery's but their loalty could always be bought.
If Matthias had defeated Roland and survived this long maybe the two could do this by themselfs.

Matthias reached into his belt and held up a hefty change purse.
"I'm the regent o' Ostia, remember? I paid my wages for working as a bodyguard for Lord Sain," he tucked the money back into his belt. "An' I wouldn't suggest runnin' off by yourself ta kill the hero. Nobody's taken down one o' these guys by themselves. Hell, I needed a dragon to help me."
He looked over at the weapons, wondering if one of them would help him.
"The two of us could probly pull it off, but either of us goes alone an' we might as well jes' slit our throats."

"Sain's not here and like I said, nobody's paid you to play hero. Let's meet up here in an hour to make sure we've got everything we need. You worry about buying your own weapons if you want but also make sure to get enough food and water that will last us a bit. I'll gather the other supplies."
Kenshin had started to eye a few blades at another vender as he spoke.

"Read ya loud an' clear there," Matthias replied, smirking. The yeoman had already gotten a fair amount of supplies, and had been more or less buying time. It was amazing how much food people back in Lycia had thought he'd needed.
Matthias moved away from Kenshin, hoping the Sacean didn't run off on another of his usual suicide missions. They needed all the people they could get... and having a skilled fighter like Kenshin die would suck.
