"That mob chased me farther than I thought..." Richter thought to himself. So far, he was getting off to a bad start. He looked ahead and saw everyone from before. The purple-haired cleric was running, and it looked like she was chasing after someone. Not looking where he was running, Richter felt himself collide with something. As he tripped over it and fell forward, he saw that it was the little girl that he had dismissed from his mind earlier. His face hit the street hard.

OOC: Oh well that ruins my plan for Jya to fall into manure.
Jya had hit someone hard and fell down on her but. Well the guy seemed worse since he landed face first. Getting back up she wanted to make a run for it, but decided it would be best to say sorry before running off. She was so close to identifying what exactly was making the music.
"Sorry about that, Mr."

[OOC: Thank god...or Ritcher...]
Alcibie paused. She started to snicker. Pretty soon she was full out laughing. Jya had run off and a man had run flat into her. Of course, the thief had bounced right back up and took off again, but still the whole scenario was hilarious.
“Here…hold on…” The cleric got out between laughter and gasped for breath. “I can heal you.” She snickered trying to help the pink haired fellow to his feet.
“One second…” The cleric held up her heal staff and cast a short spell healing the nicks and cuts the man had earned from his face plant. Once her work was done she chuckled again. “Sorry about that, now excuse me.” Alcibie bowed and took off after the thief making sure to yell some very unholy things as she ran.

"Abominable little child..." Richter muttered to himself. " He touched his face. It wasn't scraped anymore. "Healing arts truly are useful," he thought. That's when he decided. "The cleric...I'll make her my traveling companion." Richter stood up, brushed the dust off of his coat, and started off after the cleric.

Matthias was beginning to wonder if this cleric and her crew were going to be worth the trouble. He already had Yaen to babysit, he didn't need someone else.
Speaking of which...
Matthias glanced back at his companion, who was probably doing the fifty-yard stumble by now. At least he managed to keep up...
"C'mon, we should keep up with the d**m cleric for now," he grumbled, taking a few steps into the crowd. He paused, turning back to Yaen. "Grab onto my d**m cape so you don't get f**king lost, kid. Then we can find out the source of the d**m music."
As soon as Yaen did as he was told*, Matthias took off at a fast walk, heading in the direction he'd last heard the music. Something told him that he'd find something interesting there, and probably meet up with the cleric as well.
After a few moments of walking he could swear he was getting close...
*assumes character action OoC: Now let's hope that Myra actually posts...

Melanie looked to the group as the Cleric left. She was with her so she was going to follow. She flew up high looking to the parties that wanted her. She looked to them and then to the cleric. They were getting there close. She then flew to the cleric flying next to her. "I will stay and travel with you, that is the best Alcibie."Melanie said.

He couldn't believe it. He lost focus for a minute and BAM! Everyone had run off somewhere. No one was in sight.
The mage sighed to himself. 'Why me?' he thought. 'Could this be a message from the gods?' Julian shook his head violently at that. 'No, no. The gods don't see fit to give messages to mortals.' He sighed again, dejected. He contemplated trying to find the others, but in the city, it was close to impossible.
'I'm sorry, Alcibie, Jya,' he thought. 'Maybe we will meet again one day.' With that, the mage set off, heading back to Etruria. He had heard of some trouble there, and wanted to check on his parents and master.

Richter stopped running and paused for a second to think. If he joined up with the cleric, he'd be stuck with the sick, coughing, seemingly bothersome little girl. That just about exhausted his choices of companions in this town, considering the brown haired Ranger had that bumbling incompetent fool following him around. While he was lost in thought, he noticed a yellow haired mage pass him by. Perhaps he'd head in his direction. It had to be better than here.

Julian walked through the town quickly, having already had his pack with him. As he walked, he glanced around, hoping to catch sight of his companions. When he reached the edge of the town with no such luck, he fully committed to his trip.
As he left, the mage noticed a man with a sword seemed to be following him. Julian stopped and turned to him. "Can I help you with something sir?" he asked with a smile.

Richter stared blankly at the mage, judging whether he was worthy of a response. After turning it over in his head, Richter said to him, "I was going wherever you were planning on going. I have no specific destination, but traveling alone is not only unsafe, it's boring."

"I agree that is boring to travel by oneself. Well then, come along," Julian said as he turned back towards his path. 'Hopefully this guy won't be like a brick wall when it comes to talking,' he thought. "So, why don't you tell me about yourself..."

OOC: Okay, it's been over a week, and we still haven't heard from Myra... we ought to move on...
Matthias was beginning to wonder if this wasn't some sort of wild-goose chase. He and Yaen had a mission to complete, and they needed to get out of this god-forsaken town.
"Look, I'm not thinking this is gettin' us anywhere," he spoke, addressing the cleric f, who struck him as the nominal leader of the little group. "My buddy an' I need to head to Lycia. We were thinkin' it would be better to travel in a group than alone. You guys wanna tag along? After we catch the girl of course..."
He hadn't broken stride as they continued to chase after the little girl, and he simply stopped talking long enough to get his answer...

Alcibie looked to him and back around again, there were what five, six people with them? Myra was no where to be found and Jya was running all over the place. Alcibie looked back to Matthias and sighed.
“I’ll rank today up there with the worst day of my life, but yeah I’ll come with you guys.” Alcibie launched over a near by crate and grabbed the thief by her cape. Pulling the girl backwards from her crazed run, yeah the thief had to come.

The force from the tuck got Jya off guard and she easily got captured in the clutches of Alcibie. She sighed, the music was so close, but they had to leave. She didn't struggle or fight back, just simply hung there, acting like there was little to do.
"So is it time to leave?" Jya asked a petite small voice that could only be heard by those two. Her legs felt weak as well, from all the chasing and bumping into people.

"Sounds like a plan to me," Matthias agreed, eager to be on the road again. Anything beat spending another page... er... day in the city.
"We're sort of in a hurry... an' there's still plenty of daylight left..." Matthias glanced up to find the sun, knowing they could get at least a few miles in before it set fully. Not as many as he'd like, what with Yaen and the kid around, but still, they'd do alright.
"Oh yeah, name's Matthias, the kid's name's Yaen," he jerked his thumb back as the poor Sacean, grinning. "An' we're tryin' to save the world."
