As Aerious walked down the hall he applied some Vulnerary to his throat, soothing the injured flesh. It seemed to be taking effect, and he imagined he would be able to breath and speak normally in a little bit. Following the sounds of carnage at a leisurely pace he noticed a Shaman off to his right. He looked confused and out of place, as Aerious observed him walking down the same hall everyone else was.

Matis nodded at Matthias, and hastily made his way to counselor, attempting to cut his head off. However, the blow had stopped right before the man's neck. The door that Matthias had closed off had been totally destroyed, a river of blood coming from the hallway. Galloping.
No...not now...
White steed, golden spear, silver armor. Barigan had entered the room, killing everyone who stood in his path. The high counselor took the opportunity to kick Matis aside, and unsheathed his sword.
"Definitely NOT good."

Matthias barely managed to get out of the way of the charging paladin. During his roll, he managed to snag Laurette, and take her with him. He quickly sprang to his feet, bow at the ready.
noticing that the counselor was distracted, he shot at him first. No need to have a minion get in the way of the big battle.

There he was plain in sight the walking dead, Matthis the lord he believed to have died previously was standing there right before him alive as ever. Could he have been an illusion like in that cave that he Alexia, Sokka and Dray'Gon had travelled into a long time ago, or could it have been like the risen heroes he had heard about appearing all over the land. "Matthias" Brad spoke aloud, to try and get the living lord's attention, despite the fact that he was a little preoccupied.

Barigan looked around the room. Seeing two swordsman, an archer, and what looks like a spell caster. "You, the one with your sword drawn. I'll take you're life first." The archer was going to be an annoying little fly trying to bite him. He wasn't worryed about the spell caster becuase he looked like a newbie. The other swordsman didn't have his weapon ready so he could wait.
Barigan charged towards Matis thrusting his lance as he approched.

Matis heart began racing. He was being confronted by none other than the almighty Barigan, the paladin(who had somehow got a horse inside the building). Even worse, he was still fending the high counselor off. The man's swordplay wasn't that good, but he sure knew how to block attacks.
Startled by Barigan's appearance, the high counselor dropped his guard just long enough for Matis to kick him aside, and barely move out of Malte's way. Things weren't looking good. Though the Mani Katti had proven very effective against cavalry so far, he wondered how it would fare against the mightiest Paladin to ever exist. The fact that the spear looked deadlier than even Barigan himself wasn't reassuring either.

The man Matis had kicked away flailed his arms knocking Barigan's lance away from it's target. He kept his charge to avoid giveing the man a chance to counter attack. After he thought it was safe he got the horse to turn around. "I don't know if you planned on useing him to do that but count your blessings becuase you're not going to have that chance again."

"We'll need a miracle if we want to win", he muttered, blessing his pure dumb luck.
He, rather stupidly, charged towards Barigan, hoping that he would be able to out speed him, since it isn't easy to move fast on a horse when not on a straight line. He aimed straight for Barigan's left arm, but even after basically slicing through it, the arm simply didn't even have a scratch.
"What!?" he shouted, as the back of Malte hit him in the head, knocking Matis to the side, as he rolled to safety.
How can that be!?

Barigan noticed the High Counselor still in the room. "You fool, if I'm to win you are to get out of this room. You'll just get in my way, I was ordered to keep you alive." His words boomed as he spoke to him.

Aerious had seen the hated enemy enter the room, his blood boiled, his heart raced, there was no longer any time to waste. Not waiting another moment, he lept out the closest window he could find, holding his dragon stone tightly in his hand. The light engulfed him, and he pulled out of his dive and aimed right for the council room, where he knew they must be. Without any hesitation he turned towards the council room and drew a deep breath. With a mighty roar he summoned a blast of fire once again, blowing away half of the room in a single blast. His throat screamed in agony, but he could endure. He then flew into the room, and saw him, Barigan, with his infernal lance... Aerious then spotted a man trying to sneak up behind Matis with a blade drawn. He was unfamiliar with human nobility, but the way he dressed must have made him important. Without hesitation Aerious brought his clawed front leg down on the man, whose death scream filled the chamber as he was crushed into the floor.
OOC: Feel free to modify this post if you don't want me to kill him yet, I just thought it was a good way to kill him.

Matthias had been distracted for a good portion of the fight. Finally he regained his senses, and fired at the paladin, hoping to do some damage. The light spiraled off the arrow, and the projectile connected with the paladin. Matthias grinned, pumping his arm. "Let's hope it hurts 'im!"

OoC:Bunny was that a crit or not? we need to know to track his HP. Also after a quick Hit and Avoid check for everybody Matis is the only one who has a chance of dodgeing his attacks. Bunny has the best chance for hitting, not by much over Matis. But like they are, they're just guidelines.
BiC: Barigan felt the arrow hit him. Was it pain that fueled his rage towards the puny archer? Becuase of that he almost forgot what he just saw. "So, it looks like that second swordsmen isn't a swordsmen at all. That son of a bitch is one of them that we drove out before. That archer can wait, that thing could be a real problem." Pulling on the rains(spelling?) to stear the horse's charge at Aerious. To Barigan this was going to be easy, slaying yet another dragon.
Apon being in range Barigan trusted his Malte towards Aerious looking to defeat him quickly.

OOC: If my math is correct that is 15 damage, or is it more damage because it is a weapon designed to kill Dragons?
IC: Aerious felt the lance pierce through his natural armor, roaring in pain. They sure didn't get their reputation for nothing, too many hits with that and Aerious would be a goner. But he knew they could not let him get away here. With a tremendous roar he blew a blast of flame that filled the small room. He had hoped that Matis and Matthias got out of the way, but killing Barigan was more important.
OOC: 70% Chance to hit if I recall. Is it possible to plug in a die roller into this board, that might be helpful.

OoC: God no. If we turn into a dice rolling forum I'm out of here faster than you can say "Nat 20." And my attack wasn't a crit, my crits are usually more obvious.
Matthias couldn't believe Barigan was ignoring him. Was he stupid or something? Apparently he wanted to get filled with magically powered arrows. He fired again, aiming for Barigan's torso. "Hey, moron! I'm over here!"

Things were going too fast. The room was destroyed by a flame blast from a dragon. The high counselor being crushed by the mysterious creature, as Barigan was pushed backwards by Matthias' holy-filled arrow. Now, Barigan had charged towards the dragon, impaling him, only to get blasted yet by another of those flamethrowers.
Matis had jumped out of the way of the fire just in time, though he could feel the heat on his back, almost burning his skin. Was Barigan still alive? Matis saw another arrow head straight to Barigan's general direction, but the room had yet to be cleared of all the dust blown by the fire.
OOC: I can try to find a code for that, but...what should I set it to? I mean, how many die should I set it to? And numbers in which range should it(they) generate? And don't Dragonstones have 100 hit? If that's the case, then Aerious should have a 99% or so hit chance.
