(OOC: meh, may as well join up with you all...hope my bro, who is Rayl here, (who showed me the place a few days back =] ) , doesn't kill me for stealing his laptop for abit ;P )
BIC: Falkon patted the side of his wyvern, realising how it's color was so similiar to the pure snow white of the pegasus: how lucky! He smiled before he signaled for it to land outside, they were there luckily, and the snow was starting to be cumbersome to the wyvern's flight patterns. he had it hide amongst the mounts as to not startle anyone...well, more than it had already, before entering the inn.
He immediently scanned the familiar area: Gosh how it had changed...well, now was not the time for recollection now was it? He had to find that Sacean man he heard was around...in all honesty, he forgot why,"Now let's see...I just have to find a non Ilian...that shouldn't be TOO hard, ey?" and ka-poof, the innkeeper just went by, and actually reconized him, though before he could catch up, business came first though," Have you seen any foreginers around?" the innkeeper laughed, and pointed a thumb back," Yep, Sacea and Lycia I believe...one moron actually tried to not pay for a meal from ME, of all people!" the two men laughed," Yeah, even if a man save dyou from falling off a cliff, you wouldn't give em a free meal...should have let ya fall old man." he frowned at the memory, then grinned and walked past, to meet up with the people, easily picking them out. He saluted," Names Falkon, wyver- errr...I mean Pegasus Knight of Ilia..." yes, he still wished to be a pegasus knight," I have traveled here to accompany you...in all honesty though, I forget why. I pray I may be of use to you and your mission..whatever it was... heh...oh yes! I heard you had recent news about Bern I believe it was."

"Of course", he said. Then, a white-haired stranger got closer to the group, introducing himself.
Matis gave Matthias and Aerious a quick glance, before turning to Falkon. "So...you basically come out of nowhere, introduce yourself and hope that you can simply tag along, even when you don't even know WHY you want to do so?"
Matis looked down, as he drifted off into thoughts. Or at least, when you don't want to tell us. Reminds me of how we met Matthias, though.
"Fine. Be warned, though, that any wrong move might cost your life. And not at the hands of the bandits, rest assured" he said, unsheathing his blade, and then sheathing it back.
"Of course, unless you tell you what is it that you sought us for, we won't tell you what is it that we are doing."
News from Bern? Which news?

Aerious just stared at the intruder, quite at a loss for words.
"You've got to be kidding me. Trust a random stranger for no reason other then the fact that they appear to be friendly? Kid, I wouldn't trust you with serving me dinner, much less with watching my back. Tch."
And he turned away from the new arrival and focused on his meal, he had said his peace.

Matthias had been tearing into his meal, leaving the newcomer to Aerious and Matis. He was a little surprised when Matis so readily accepted the newcomer. Sure, Matthias had pretty much joined up in a similiar manner, but that was before things go so complicated.
"Whee, more meat shields," Matthias murmured into his breakfast.

Alan descended down upon the capitol without challenge after he showed what he was carrying. He supposed he should check with the inn first and locate Matis before proceding.
After dismounting and leaving Grimbold in the stable he entered the inn. Well that wasn't difficult.

"Well, if you want to know my true reason for being here...I was sent by Ilia to accompany you, they said you'd need all the help you could get." Now he was just piling lie upon lie on...was that a good thing? Probably...possibly...conviently...but no... He then turned to the man still eating,"Ah, so you must be the man who tried to get out of paying. Here is some advice: This is probably the only inn where that is never going to happen." if he was going to be traveling with these people, he was going to be keeping an eye on this one...He had a feeling he was going to get shot at by him, so he decided to turn back to the kinder man.
"So tell me sir, what is this speak of the heros of the scouring rrising from their sleep to rain havoc upon our fair world...I honestly believe it's talk from which came from the mouth of a drunkard, though if you believe in it, then it must be true, for you are obviously the one from Sacae...and your people never lie, yes?" heh, if they figured out I was lieing all the time, I would be a dead man... he looked about, before tossing a small bag of coints to the innkeeper,"I'll pay for my group here, sir...but you STILL owe me that one free meal-"
"Which is never going to happen." the innkeeper finished, before heading off in a random direction, thus ending that little reoccuring arguement, " Wait, what does that man bean by 'meat shields'?"

'It means that it is unlikely tat you will serve any other purpose in this mission then jumping in front of and get youself hit by a stray arrow. Is that clear enugh to you?' Alan said unkindly. He didn't trust anyone with a Bern uniform.

Aerious turned to see the gruff man entering the inn. He spoke as if he knew them, but Aerious had never met him.
"A friend of yours?" He asked, to nobody in particular.

"That's Alan, who's apparently as chipper as ever. Hello asshole," Matthias cheerily called to his old comrade, waving a fork in his direction. "And who knows? Maybe you'll prove to be a great asset to us. Who am I ta judge?"

'That true, you shouldn't listen to what Fram-boy has to say. The only thing he ever was taught was to swear, and poorly at that.' Alan said as snippy as he could. 'So you really did survive, after Lumino told you were dead i kinda gave my hopes up.'

"Alan, nice to see you still alive" Matis said, once the Wyvern Lord entered the inn.
Sent by Ilia to come with us and help? Right, because of course we didn't notice when he descended from a wyvern from that window over there. And either way, thanks to Laurette, everyone must know by now that we killed Barigan.
"Yes, the heroes of old are back. We are simply trying to hunt them down, as they've already destroyed Ostia as a whole." This guy surely would never hear about Athos, or the reason why the heroes are back. If Matis had to break the promise he made as a kid, like all Sacaens do, "Never lie and live with honor", he would. If that was needed for the greater good, then perhaps it was something worth sacrificing.
He then reacted to Alan's comment. "Wait. Dead? Why would Lumino say that Matthias was killed? Was Lumino truly a..." he couldn't say it. A spy? From Bern? Athos would have known that. He wouldn't have summoned him as well, if he knew that Lumino was a spy. Unless, he WANTED him to know.
OoC: That reminds me that Matthias has yet to mention that St. Elimine died.

Alan realised that the conversation was drifting off. I don't have time for this. 'Hey, sorry if I'm damaging your pride but I didn't come here for the two of you. At the moment Kenshin is headed for the remains of his old village, he's already rounded up most of the others andhe isn't planning to wait. if you wanna catch up, you should leave. Now, have you talked too the Ilian council yet.'

"They've lent us a handful of Pegasi Knight, which we sent to Santaruz. If things went smoothly, they should have been there for a couple of days now." Matis said, after hearing Alan's comment.
What would Kenshin want in the remains of our tribe? We were there once already, and only one thing was useful there, he thought, remembering the medallion he found on the body of Kenshin's father. The legendary Heaven's Seal, an item said to harness power beyond belief. A medallion that crumbled to pieces once Matis became a Blade Lord.
"If that's true, then we have to get moving", he said, practically dragging Matthias with him, fork and plate still on hand.

"Dammit, I'm not done!" Matthias protested. He quickly shoveled the rest of his food down, throwing the cleaned plate onto the table. "What the hell is the damn rush? We're cleanin' up with the damn heroes, an' we've got more allies than I can friggin' count." He managed to get free of Matis. "And it's not Lumino's fault he said I was dead. There was magic involved, remember?"

Aerious ignored the protests of Matthias. If there were heroes to hunt, the sooner, the better. As Matthias broke free he grabbed his other arm.
"No I am afraid I must agree, we should go."
