The force from the collision made her stumble back and the monocle on her face to fall off. She could see curious eyes upon her from the passerby. She understood why, it wasn't to often to hear someone cuss out in the 'civilized streets of Etruria'. Putting her monocle back on, she examined the damage, it wasn't to bad however. She only knocked down a girl.
"Sorry 'bout that young lass." she said in half hearty sort of way. She pulled out he hand and grabbed the girl up, literally.

The young woman reach out to take hold of Janus’s hand nodding her head gently in response to his question of her state of being. Yes she was fine, this time only a little disoriented from this one. However in one quickly movement the pirate woman had picked the girl up and set her back down onto her feet. Clutching her book to her chest Nissa kept hold of Janus’s hands, head spinning momentarily from getting up a little too fast for her own good.
“I’m alright Janus,” She spoke gently to reassure him before turning to the green haired woman with the monacle, a post peculiar looking character to be wandering the streets of Etruria. “It’s okay… I have a bit of attention issues at time.” Excusing herself once more as the problem to the situation.
Really she didn't want any sort of trouble but in her own worry kept grasp of Janus, still fairly uncertain of the woman's character. She didn't look like a typical warrior... what was she?

"Well ma'am, sorry about that, we'll just be on our way then." Janus said, eying the woman with suspicion. "Come on then Nissa, you look like you should take a break for a bit..." He added.
It could have been completely innocent, but something seemed off about this girl...then again.
He looked to his company, a shaman...perhaps he was being too hasty in judging this brutish woman by looks alone.
"Well, you have a good day then miss, be careful around here, we wouldn't want the entire town to wind up knocked on their asses." He added with a smirk.

As there was more people begin to gather around them, she tried her best to remember her manners from her childhood.
"Is there a way to repay you for my rudeness?" she asked giving a bow of respect. It had been a long while since she had done things with manners, it made her feel quite uncomfortable.
"I do insist on me doing some service in return, perhaps as a bodyguard," she added, the bodyguard just seemed to slip out. Hopefully she could fine her way back to sea if they were travelers.

“Yes a break from everything sounds very nice.” Offering Janus a weak little smile still needing to recover from the second brush fully. Glancing over at the tavern she wistfully wished quietly it was a little closer. Looking back over at Cefia the shaman’s expression changed to one of surprise, especially with the bow.
Her eyes darted back and forth curiously noting the suspicious gazes on the people watching them. Being bowed to in public and being who she was made things very shady to onlookers. Clearing her throat the shaman gave a little tap on the girl’s shoulder, “Please there is no need to bow, I’m not any of importance, please.”
“Lets just get inside.” She sighed motioning to the tavern, “We’ll discuss anything of need in there. Just out of the eyes of the public.” Her voice lowering to a soft little whisper.

Sensing her discomfort Janus just gave her hand a little squeeze to get her attention back to the world.
"All right then, let's go inside and have a seat. You can join us, just please try not to make a scene. We can discuss everything in there."
Janus began to walk towards the tavern, not letting go of Nissa, lest she vanish into the air.

Cefia half sneaked into the tavern behind all the others. It made her feel better as the scent of well brewed bear flowed up into her nose. She so badly wanted to go back to the sea, where parents don't try to control you to much after they had more money. She shuffled through, picking a seat not to far from everyone, but not to close either. She wasn't the type to start a fight and she could not kill on land. It was a oath she took upon herself awhile ago,

Entering the tavern Nissa sighed heavily in relief, knowing in here there were few who wanted to barge in on other’s business. Coming in escorted with a male kept one out of danger… people came here to drink troubles away and find themselves tavern wenches, not get involved with other people’s problems. Quickly she moved to suitable table towards the back corner, sitting herself down finally, the stars were beginning to fade at last.
“Alright…” Taking a breath she smiled then to Cefia motioning for her to sit on down. A tavern certainly was not the ideal place for her to be but it was far better then the streets of Etruria happened to be right now. “Thank you Janus…” Her hand slipping from his as she became centered.
“I think our first bit of business is regarding what you wish to learn Janus.” Nissa stated letting her eyes slip to him, “I believe that will dictate where we must first go.”

"What I wish to learn? Now that is a dangerous question..." He said, keeping his voice low so none past his table could hear. "Well, if you are sure. There has been a lot of commotion among the ruling body of Erturia lately, and during that commotion someone made a move against my family. I want to find out who is behind all this chaos, and see to it that they are well compensated for their trouble."
Janus glanced around the tavern. Didn't look like anyone in here was too patriotic, but you never knew, it was better to be safe then sorry.

Cefia leaned in close to get a better hearing of whats going on exactly. She wasn't a person that cared about politics, but this sounded somewhat interesting. It was somewhat a wonder, but up until now shes been pretty much lost. Perhaps if she was to assist these people, they could help her back to the sea.
"I would help out, but afterward would you guide me back to the sea." "It seems a bit big for just a lonesome pirate to ask." "But it appears that none of you are exactly one that should be fighting close range against close range fighters." She was trying quite hard to get back to sea.

Hearing out the archer, Nissa was presented with a bit of news she hadn't expected to hear. Perhaps chaos had spread to the royals... It wasn't a notion that wasn't entirely unlikely notion, after all what she had heard circulating made her steer clear of even her own home. Who knew what madness had consumed who. "I see, well you have come at an interesting time to Etruria." Nissa remarked softly.
"Rumors... theres so many of them as to what occurred but due to my time in study during the period I can claim none as truth or false." Her voice lowering in volume as she addressed the two of them, "Months ago there was word St.Elimine had risen again... One of the several things happening in the chaos that has consumed Etruria in the past few months. Why it is increasingly dangerous for shaman to be seen walking the streets. Religious practices has slowly shifted to zealotish behavior..."
"During that period would of been a genuine time to strike anyone's enemy... No one truly knows what occurred besides I assume the royals. In means I also suspect the church may... but that is not a place I'd recommend going for any answers." Nissa replied gently before looking to Cefia in a calculating manner. "If you assist us them I would gladly aid you in your return home, eventually I need to travel outside of Etruria, but for now for Janus's sake i believe lingering here would be the best option."

Janus's face spread into a smile at hearing her words. Such a caring young girl, it was a shame the pirate had to come along to ruin the 'intimacy' of it, but having an extra fighter would be helpful.
"Yes, that is what I theorized as well. Some of those rumors were...out landish at best, but yet people still believe them. I have a few places, and people more importantly, that I want to investigate, but that can wait for a little bit. For now, let's relax and enjoy our first meeting, and a drink together."
Being a man of slightly more refined tastes, Janus had ordered a bottle of red wine, as well as a pair of small goblets. Only two goblets came because Janus and Nissa had not entered 'with' Cefia, so to speak. And she was at a different table.
Without missing a beat Janus took the bottle and raised it questioningly over Nissa's small goblet. "Care for a toast then? To a new adventure?"

Cefia simply waited, she didn't care for alcohol as much as most people here. Usually the taste made her grimace from the bitterness in some drinks; the only drink she could take was rum, only because they constantly served it on the ships. She took out a new book that she recently traded off for an older one and began to read, studying the pages intently. Getting engrossed into a decent book always made time fly, but before long some drunken guy knocked her in the back of head with his cup. Sure she could have pummeled him and pretty much start a bar fight, but she ignored it as he walked on by. Cursing under her breath she turned away and got back into her book. Soon after that the same man hit her again with his beer, apparently more drunk than ever.
Getting up she went and sat at the same table with her companions for awhile. Somehow her head was a beer cup magnet and she got hit again from a different guy at least. It was probably karma getting on her for getting mad at the parents that wanted to hold her back. A person however could ignore so many hits and after five more, she practically hid under the table. The others seemed much luckier then herself. After a few second she got back up and once again smacked with a cup. Well she was being civilized and NOT attacking anyone.

Nissa’s eyes settled to the goblets as one of the servers passed by, followed by the bottle of red wine. Smiling a little she took the glass holding out for him to pour her a bit. There was nothing wrong with a little wine to celebrate such an occasion. She had somewhat expected the pirate to have a much stronger taste for alcohol then simple wine, so made no comment when such was not offered to her. Once the drink was poured she raised her own goblet. “To new journeys… and new companions.” The red haired chimed sweetly before clinking her goblet against his own and taking a sip.
Janus was given once again a comforting smile from the shaman, her nerves obviously calmed being out of the general public’s eye. As she turned slightly she noticed Cefia return to the table and sit herself down, seeming annoyed by something or another. Briefly she watched a few drunkards clumsily smack into the back of the pirate’s head, then as Cefia ducked. Quietly she gave Janus a curious glance wondering if she ought to say something to the gentlemen… but knowing the costly risks of bringing such said attention to her.
“Miss…? Are you alright?” Nissa paused, “We never did catch your name.”

Janus clinked the metal chalice with a smile. This was going to be a nice little adventure, even if the reasons for it weren't quite as carefree as hers. He himself had witnessed the actions of the drunks as well, and merely scowled.
"Sorry about that." He said to the pirate. "It seems drunken fool is something that crosses international boundaries quite well." He said, offering her a smile and waving the bottle towards her.
"You care for some? I don't want too much, throws my aim off."
