Rayl felt a strange calming sensation, and wasn't really in the mood to argue about anything at the time...until the feeling wore off, and he turned calmly towards the cleric," I still say you should have waited...but you have my thanks..." he nodded his ead, before turning around, hearing a rustling in the bushes, and he, sort of uncerimoniously pushed Alcibie behind him, lance held at the ready. He was prepared for aything, until his horse came running on past them, stopping behind, as Rayl quickly put his thinks back on, followed by his saddle, right before the man behind it ran forth, spotting the girl before even noticing Rayl, and charged forward, axe held at the ready.
Rayl turned around, hearing as the man began to shout for his comrades, as Rayl quickly saddled up and grabbed Alcibie in one arm, and riding off, doubting he would even be able to fight and protect her at the same time,"Persephone! We are moving out! watch out for enemy archers!" he shouted, before his horse skidded to a halt, and thrust him off, before continuing on running, with the cleric still in tow," God damn it!" he shouted, then mentally slapping himself upside the head for that, before turning around to see the man had easily caughten up. Before he could react, he was caught in the leg, tripped, and sent right to the ground, before rolling out of the way to avoid a swing.
He looked around for his spear, before remembering that it was tied onto the saddle,"...Crud..." it was here he remembered his training from the old knight, who often told him to improvise based on the situation. He then grabbed a handful of dirt, and threw it up into the man's face, before disarming him and tossing the weapon aside, before throwing him to the ground. Not wanting to really continue that, he turned and ran off, whistling for his horse to come back,"...I hate my job..."

It seemed that the situation below did not look ideal in the least. Rayl was having some issues with his horse who had returned it seems to his master. However the man didn't remain saddled, he was back on the ground in moments, crap what were they supposed to do about this now? Pulling out her slim lance the young woman sighed a little, lowering herself as the man went up to grab hold of his axe, He couldn't get up and get any closer to that girl.
Ayriss lowered herself a bit so they were hovering aborve the man with the axe. Staring at the bandit she glared slightly, "You should not take what isn't your," Persephone warned before suddenly striking the man with her slim lance one time. The bandit snarled in anger swiping or trying to realizing he wasn't in full balance with the his axe to fully attack. Quickly the girl struck again simply before pulling Ayriss back a little bit eying the bandit who seemed weakened at the moment.

The Pegasus Knight left her with the lady’s man. Alcibie raised her hand to her head. Had the other one took off on purpose. Thinking back on it she seemed confidant giving the order…but then again. She would not think badly of her new companion and possible commander. The Caviler seemed to respect her well enough, which meant she was probably higher rank than him.
Landing unceremoniously on the ground was usually something she did not enjoy. She really needed to start paying attention. She heard the rustling and pulled herself up the tee peering around the corner. So the horse returned. She most certainly was going to have a chat with that steed. A shout came and then an axe before Alcibie was even given the chance to react she had been swooped off her feet quiet literally.
“Eep!” Alcibie made quick work of grabbing on to the saddle as the horse continued to move. Then the horse stopped and the arm that had been on her left.
“Rayl!” She cried out cursing the horse mentally for tossing aside its driver. She was not a troubadour! She did not know how to steer one of these things.
“STOP IT YOU IRRITABLE STALLION!” Alcibie cried off defiantly more than willing to just jump off if she was not afraid of getting trampled. She heard the flapping of wings. Alcibie hoped Persephone was helping Rayl out because she was pretty sure she was going to be quiet worthless. Then she landed on the ground again. The horse was looking down at her and she just stared back.
“What are you looking at me for?” She asked the horse who seemed to smile. Maybe she was the crazy one. “Hey if your master dies do not expect me to climb up on your back.” A whistle cut through the air and Alcibie smiled as the horse took off. Hopefully those two would come to her if they got hurt.
(OOC: I find it incredibly ironic that I was actually a stable hand when I did summer camp)

Rayl nodded his head to Persephone: she may have been an extreme pain in the rear, but hey, she was good in a pinch. as he horse began it's arrival, he seemed to tense up slightly, before doing a flip backwards, landing in the saddle, and taking the lance from the side," I owe you, lady Persephone!" he smiled, before seeing the glint of an arrow amidst the trees," ARCHER!" he called out to them, before spurring his horse on, an arrow whissing past his head, which was aimed for the pegasus knight.
He spun the lance in his left hand, before having his horse leap over the log the archer was hiding behind, and before the hidden bandit could dodge to the side, when the lance went clear and through his chest, sending him to the ground in a heartbeat...but...the horse's landing wasnt so perfect, as it skid to a halt, sending it's rider once again flying, but this time into the river, the current moving faster...the blood of the archer stained the clear water, as Rayl slowly got to his feet and climbed out," I swear...one of these days I'm trading you for some good old fashioned beans..."
This time he meant that, as he soon began heading back to the battlefield, taking a path through the trees, making sure his moronic horse moved as slow as possible...which meant that it would be moving rather quickly and back towards the battle, to find out what in blazes happened to to that cleric...he had a mighty big headache...

Persephone's eyes widened as suddenly she felt the arrow nail her right in the shoulder. The Pegasus knight struggled to keep on her horse, having to reach for the arrow and pull it out and drop it to the ground. This was bad..and she was in a lot of pain at the moment. Ayriss neighed, bucked a little having been spooked by the arrrow that had bolted across the field. "A-ayriss we need to pull back." That archer had gotten a lucky shot having been hidden out of sight from her. Quickly she motioned for her horse to turn the other direction pulling her back closer to the cleric.
Persephone's grasped at the bleeding wound, glancing around worried in case there might be anymore about she couldn't see. "Sir Rayl!?" She called ought no longer able to see him now that he had fallen into the river, this wasn't good in the least. "If things get too bad Lady Alcibie you ought to run..."
She was in open area and unless they were in plain view no archer was going to be able to hit her at the moment, but god that had hurt so badly.

So the horse had left her. Smart guy, she was not much help in a fight. She could try to find something to use to defend herself. Maybe she could track back and find that momma fox or better yet a momma bear then lead it to them. Who was she kidding she was a point on the battle field that was only visited when people needed healing. Lucky the horse had dumped her far enough away from the fighting so that she was out of the way. She could not hear anything though. What if they lost? What if they died? Oh she had only just met them too. Alcibie tasted blood. She had bitten through her lip. She wanted…she hoped they were alright.
She heard the splash and soon after the Pegasus descended from the sky. “Persephone!” Alcibie cried out running to meet the flying mount. She was already casting the heal spell while running. Father Reeves would have her hide if he ever got wind of this. Cleric must be collected in battle to receive the blessings of the goddess. But if that did not scare the crap out of her she did not know what did. The staff stopped glowing and the wound closed.
“You scared me. Is Rayl alright?” Run right like she would be able to out run two bandits. She had to be able to do something though…just what? “Stay above the trees if you can the archer would have a harder time of hitting you through all those branches.” Nature maybe she could use that for something. Rayl better be alright. [Heal 23/25 Exp 10]

(OOC: You know, I've always wanted to just be of the soldier class...you know, pathetic and never promoting xD don't ask)
Rayl was muttering to himself, as he decided to dismount his horse: it was getting way too cumbersome for actual use," I should have been a common footsoldier...then I wouldn't be stuck in this situation..." tieing the horse to a tree for the moment, he then set up and out of the leafy brush, to seek out his comrades, which weasn't that hard, assuming the fact that his teammates were close by, though he made sure no archers were around, before sprinting across the field, rather hard with heavy armor, before stopping besides them both," Are you alright Lady Persephone?!" he turned back to look to scan for archers, before hearing hoofprints...multiple of them, as mounted units began arriving, before he turned to face them,"...I think this is the part where we have to lower our arms..."
He dropped his iron lance to the ground, but made sure he was between his comrades and the advancing horsemen, and watched as one of them dismounted, and walked forward, sword in hand,"Well, this is a sight to see, a man and two women just casually wandering the wilderness...? Most likely your just escorting a noble to their destination...?" the man's eyes were fixed on Alcibie, a devilish grin on his face,"Allow us to escort them both, sir knight, you should have a...long rest..." he held his sword ready as Rayl looked back to the cleric and wounded pegasus knight,"...Flee...I'll try and hold them off." he whispered, then the knight rose to his feet, lance in head, watching as the other rider's weapons were held at the ready, this is pure suicide...but it's the right thing to do he thought, as he took a deep breath, before stopping and hearing more hoofprints, but more familiar...
Here is the lucky part of having an insane horse: his mount had torn through the rope with it's teeth, and galloped out from the spot, charging right at the bandits surrounding the group,"...NOW!" he shouted, as he held out an arm, grabbing onto the side of the saddle, hoisting himself up as the horse sped off, though he winced as he had gotten away, due to the fact that the bandit had sliced him in the side with his sword, in the exact smae place as the previously healed wound,"For the record guys...I have a feeling they are going to chase us...Where to now Lady Persephone...? I don't know about you, but I think we need somewhere to rest and eat for once..."

Alcibie had done her a great favor in healing up the wound, while she could still feel a bruise from it, no longer was there a wound that was open gushing blood and a hot spot for infection. Persephone looked to Alcibie with a smile, nodding her head a little, though her eyes starting to shift around cautiously, where exactly was Sir Rayl at?! She rolled her shoulder a little, wincing as it popped but relief washed over her as the pain to hold her slim lance in hand subsided.
"I'll be fine Sir Rayl..." She replied in a low tone before looking up at the men who had managed to surround the group of them. Ayriss was heard snort slightly and stomping a hoof nervously looking at the men who had surrounded them. The noble lady narrowed her eyes at the men, what filth were they, especially give the cleric such a disgusting gaze. Her fist clenched about her lance until Rayl stepped forward with his spear in hand, and SHE was the insane one?! "Rayl...what are you..."
In the nick of time his steed drove through and he grabbed hold of the saddle. "Ayriss hold tight, my apologies in advanced Lady Alcibie!" Suddenly the cleric would find her arm grabbed and she lifted the girl onto her winged steed, they'd be grounded and unable to fly but that was find, Ayriss was already eying her competition in Rayl's horse. "Come on girl!!" Ayriss raced forward and Persephone kept her balance rather skillfully. With one hand she kept the cleric on the other was used to take the slim lance and slice outwards. She didn't managed to anything like impale an opponent, but it was enough to closeline an enemy rider. As he fell off she pushed to catch up with Rayl.
"Sir Rayl, the best choice with where we are is to Ostia, its not to far from here! We'll just follow the river south!"

There was the sound of a rhino dancing on a china plate. I swore those only came with the traveling circuses. Oh, wait. It was just Rayl running over to them.
Now he was asking if the girl was alright. Really she was standing right beside me. It is my job to heal her as a cleric just like it is your job to ride a horse. Plus, I should be asking you that question. Without a horse, Rayl’s armor looked really strange.
Speaking of horses there appeared to be multiple units heading our way. Correction there was a group of mounted units now surrounding us, my mistake. Oh look a man with a sword. Oh please, I see that look on your face buddy. Do not think I won’t kick you in between the legs just because I am a cleric. My parents are mercenaries buddy…well I think they were…are? That is beside the point. Why am I not saying any of this out loud?
Now look solider boy is going to sacrifice himself for us, as if. It would be much easier to go with them. Lying is usually against the rules, but I think I can make up a good story. Are you kidding me more horses…what the heck? Is that horse insane? Oh…GACK! Give a girl some warning before you hoist her up. It was Persephone, never mind.
These two seem to think it ok to just toss me over random animals. Perhaps I should not complain too much, it would have been bothersome getting away from those men alone. This Pegasus really it seemed to be on the same level as the horse. What did it think this was a race track? There was no reason to be. Maybe there was, but we had already out run them. I swear I am buying a wyvern when I get enough money and show them both. It Seems like I am being pulled off some where…hey wait…did they ever ask me if I wanted to come? Ostia? Yes let us go to the one of the biggest cities in the world. The cleric sighed. This had been a very interesting day…and it was not over yet…
