Hartmut barely moved and grabbed the charging Mercenary by his swordhand. This stopped the blow. He slowly squeezed until he heared the satisfying sound of a fingers breaking. He then released and gave a quick blow in the Mercenary's chest. Although this happened in only a few moments, he was distracted for the time. Hartmut still had high hopes he could stop whatever blow was coming.

Seeing that Hartmut had been engaging Alan in battle then turned to focus on Night he had ignored Kenshin. Using his right foot to almost launch himself into a full speed run he gained momentum as he charged in. Using his Sacean speed and swiftness he swung the sword at Hartmut, hitting anywhere would be a small step in victory.
Fire. The smell of burning flesh. The screams of people he grew up with. Blood in the street. Retribution, REVENGE! Matis. Katara. Friendship. Love. Hatred. All of those images and feelings flooded Kenshin's mind as he started his charge. The first time he had ran into Hartmut he was a coward, too scared to even lift a finger but what he now calls his fuel drove him into near madness to complete his quest. To see Hargus dead. Was it enough to give his will power the strength he needed to defeat this 'man' before him and the one waiting for him?

Alan smiled, no matter what happened next, he was the one who got Hartmut to take him seriously first. 'Alright old buddy, this time I think we'll see if his armor is as sturdy as he is.' Choosing his Steel Lance again, he followed Kenshins initiative, making sure his strike would come from other side then the Sacean's.

The crack of bones. The clanging of a sword falling to the ground. A cry of pain. All this in those few moments Hartmut decided to break Nights hand, before kicking the mecenary to the ground. Groping for the sword, Night grabbed a hold of it in his left hand, and dumbly thre it at Hartmut...thats all he had, in all honesty.

Hartmut turned around to see Kensin attacking. He ignored Night and let the hit come. He ignored the thump it made on his right shoulder and while he turned to stop Kenshin he saw Alan coming in for the attack. He had been sloppy. He had to choose. Holding Exaccus to stop Alan's attack he used his right hand to redirect Kenshin's strike. His hand was blooded and will be useless and the sword made a gash in his side. Alan's attack was stopped but again send a shudder through his muscles. He had to finish this. One of them must die, he couldn't handle three of them at once. With al of his strenght, while ignoring the pain of the gash, he thrusted the Lance into the Wyvern's belly, in the same spot where he had hit the beast before. He then whirled around to kick the Mercenary away again and looked Kenshin in the eye. Blood from the Wyvern was pouring over his face and blood dropped from his hand and side.
"You. Nomad. You. Will. Die." He attacked Kenshin but he noticed that his newly acquired wound and the bruise on his shoulder from the Mercenary had slowed him down. The strikes made by the Wyvern lord had tired his muscles more than he would admit. The thrust of his lance was slower this time, but still had a lot of force behind it. He hoped the Wyvern Lord will be too busy mourning over his little pet.

Jya spat out a mouthful of debris, when she finally got over her stun from the fall. The dirt didn’t taste bad, it was the fact that if she ate it, the taste would linger and there was nothing to drink. Spitting out some more of the dirt, she carefully reached into her mouth to remove a slimy, still alive and squirming, worm. The little creature began to curl, as if reaching upwards for escape. Dropping the earthworm, Jya managed to pull herself up, she had lost sight of Alcibie and by the looks of it, and she might have been knocked out for awhile now.
Just when she was finally able to get back onto her feet, a sharp pain came from her knee. Before long, she was back on the ground, checking out the damage. Apparently sometime between the fighting and her spectacular fall, her knee was teared up, the pants looked as if they were bitten off and only a blotch of redness was left. Knowing it was dangerous to leave it unattended, she had no choice, but to ignore the pain. There was no medicare, besides Alcibie, but it would be too troublesome, Alcibie needs to help the others that were actually useful. Getting up, Jya began to stagger in the direction of the shouts, slowly, but surely she was getting there. No complaints came from her, not even a grunt, not even the fact that an attack was coming, there was just no time.

Alan found himself thrown off his wyvern as it was impaled. As soon as he regained his bearings he got up and turned to face Hartmut. Dammit, he got Grimbold. But he's pretty open to attack now... Alan jumped onto the fallen Wyvern then again jumped into the air and brough his Steel Sword down on the Hero of the Scouring, aiming for his neck.

He couldn't use his lance to block Alan if there was resistance. With little time to think he reached for Night and yanked him in path of the lance and held him place. Standing behind Night would mean both would be impaled but if it meant that Hargus would fall sooner without this puppet so be it.
(OoC:Edit was due to this sounded better then before)

Night then decided to freak out. "H-hey! I am NOT your meatshield!" he protested as Kenshin pulled him up. Luckily, he thought to snatch up a handful of rock, dirt, and dirtrock(dirtclaud, whatever...). He then threw it at Hartumets eyes.

Alcibie was still on the inside, with the main forces of the army, or what was left of the armies. She was fairly certain she was disassociating herself with the events occurring right now, but she did not care in all honesty. The wall of men separating her from the battle was growing away from her. Dead bodies where being hauled up by the foot soldiers to block paths, and the fighting was growing fainter in her ears. Staring at the men around her, all of them were injured in some way only one of her vanguard staying by her side. He was holding her up right lance in the other hand, but she was bruising she should not be bruising.
“She’s no good to us like this” “We can’t kill her” “Then get her out of here” “She could snap out of it soon” “A healer in a trance won’t help my men” “But!”
“Yaen. Oh, god, Yaen.” Alcibie flailed until the guard let her go and she ran over to the soldier’s side that was carrying the young man. “Yaen!” She moved her gloved hand to his neck. Her hands were covered in blood. Staring at the gloves she felt the pulse. “He’s alive.”
“He’s no use to us.” The soldier responded, and Alcibie was forcefully pulled backwards. The cleric was now face to face with a very angry commander.
“Woman, you will do your job. He won’t be helping us.” The commander bit out. Alcibie saw one of her guards come up behind the man’s shoulder looking nervous.
“He is a…friend. Just leave him on the side. I’ll deal with him later. You said you had men for me to deal with. Bring them here. Don’t expect me to…just let me heal them.” The cleric watched as the soldier dumper Yaen’s body in the corner. “I hope Jya’s okay…”

Hartmut allowed himself to grin. He will impale both. Flesh and bones would not stop Exaccus. The little man seemed to be getting angry and throwed dirt in his eyes. It didn't matter. They will die. He thrusted the Lance through the first guy, but his thrust was disturbed by hot steel grazing his neck. He let go of Exaccus and stumbled. He looked in the eye of the Wyvern Lord. By now, Hartmut's grin had dissappeared and murder was written in his eyes. The man had caught him offguard. His neck was bleeding heavily and with every heartbeat he felt himself becoming weaker. He will need to finish this fast, before they could bring harm to his master. He yanked the lance out of the Mercenary, who seemed to bleeding heavily and looked at the two remaining men. He blinked a few times to get the dirt and dust out of eyes and attacked the Wyvern Lord. His blow had become weaker once again, but it was enough to kill. This time he reminded himself that the Redhead was still there.

Dammit, I didn't get him deep enough. As the behemothlike man got rid of the dust in his eyes Alan wanted to back out of his effective range but he didn't act quite quick enough. The lance got him in his left arm. 'Arrg! That's my good arm, you bastard!' Alan fell backwards fully aware that death itself might as well be the one towering over him.

Jya began to stumble a bit, she couldn't stand the pain anymore! Even grinding her teeth wasn't working, instead she produced a flask bottle out of one of her belt pockets. In sometime in her travels, she learned that, if you take a few swiggs out of some strong alcohol, it helps to numb the pain. As she took a gulp, the bitter liquid caused her to flinch a bit, but her throat felt much better, a little less dry. After a few minutes of stumbling, she took another gulp, noticing that it wasn't helping much this time, before finally feeling the effects.
In between her staggering and drunk stage, she managed to find Alcibie, as well as some argument. When she heard her name, she fell forwards and literally tumbled down over, in between Alcibie and the man.
"Hey, you know! That wasn't very nice!" she spat, while her body moved in a slow, extremely drunken stage, sort of way. "You shouldn't be so...so mean, like meanies!" it was obvious that she was drunk, but it did keep her mind off of her wounds.

“Jya!!!” Alcibie ripped her arm out of the other man’s clutches and knelt down by the thief. Her staff was out and the heal spell was already being cast as she sat beside her. The wound stitched instead up and the cleric sighed in relief.
“Don’t scare me…” Alcibie ran her blood clothed gloves through the thief’s hair. Then she took a deep breath and stood up slowly.
“I need to see to the most injured…I have a feeling I won’t be here much longer…”

"Hey I'll follow youuu!" Even though Jya was healed, she was also still drunk. She staggered here and there and wasn't exactly sure which Alcibie she should be following. They all seemed to be heading in the same way at least. Better keep an eye out for her, right before leaving, she stuck out a tongue at the 'meanie'.
