But you just gotta keep moving She told herself, Sighing as she opened her eyes, hating the Sky above her for turning bright so quickly after she had closed her eyes. Raising a hand to shield them from the harsh rays, the Femme en Miniature pushed herself up, yawning tiredly from a lack of good sleep. Her skin the darker tone that was natural to the Nomadic Sacaeans, her eyes were a dark reddish-gold, reflecting the area around her as she scanned it, being cautious. There seemed to be nothing...fantastic.
Bending over to lift her small satchel filled with her worldly goods over her shoulder, She then checked her light blade, making sure that it was there, ready to be used at any point that it was needed...it was, and having honed the edges last night against a leather strap on her pants, she knew that the blade would slice through the flesh of an enemy with ease and precision...Nodding a little to herself, she moved out of the Grassy plain that she had camped in, back to the road, nearly 40 feet away.
Once on the road, travel came easier, her blood flowing faster as she became more active, providing her with more energy. Energy was something that Isis would need, for she had heard of Work, in Etruria, under some sort of Prophet, and while she didn't care much for religion, she did care about the kinda money that sort of Job would earn her...
And so she walked, moving along the road the whole day. At one point, a Helpful merchant gave her a short ride and something to drink, and later in the afternoon, Isis came upon a creek, filling up waterskins there and looking as far as she could, into the depths of the stream, seeing fish...but she had no pole. Sitting at the edge of the river, Isis started to contemplate...

It was hot out. Yaen had figured that out a few hours ago. It was very hot out. And his feet hurt from walking. And he was running low on rations. In fact, the apple he was now munching on was the last of them. Wich was a shame, because he loved apples. He'd simply have to start laying traps and scavanging for herbs and roots and what not. What a bother...
The Sacaen let out an audible sigh before popping the last bit of apple into his mouth, whiping away the juice on his lips with his sleeve. Things were getting a little insane. Some new prophet preaching about St.Elimine. He heard they were killing 'non-believers'. Well, that certainly put him on the death list, as he was always true to Mother Earth and Father Sky.
The Sacaen stopped dead in his tracks, something interupting his thoughts. Running water...A stream must be near by! This served to put a smile on the nomads face. Finally, he could have a cool drink and ease his feet in the water! His lackluster walk became an excited run in the direction of the running water. The sound was getting louder, and he could make out the stream as he got closer. There was someone else there too. Reaching the stream, Yaen frowned. It was a girl...And he had been hoping to maybe take a bath too...Oh well, it wasn't his stream, anyone could use it. Just a chance to relax and soak his feet would be enough for now. Kneeling down by the water, he offered a nod to the sacaen girl before cupping his hands to get a drink.

Saturos stood shirtless in the middle of the stream. His tanned skin glistened in the sunlight, and he was still. The running water flowed around his knees. With a snap, he reached down and plunged his hand into the water, then just as fast, pulled back out, fish in hand. He took the fish and walked over to the side of the stream, tossing the fish in a small sack he had. "That should be enough," he muttered.
Grabbing the sack, another larger pack that sat next to it, and his sword, Saturos began wading down the stream. It wasn't long before he noticed an odd sight: Two Sacaens, not dressed in the same tribal garb, sitting near each other next to the stream. He hadn't seen them around before. Perhaps they were traveling through? It made sense, since Sacaens were nomadic peoples.
The larger one, a man, was getting a drink, and the smaller one, a girl, was just sitting there, staring at the water. He waded up. "Hey there," he said, "I haven't seen anybody in this area in awhile. Are you just traveling through?"

Looking up from the Stream's flow as she saw the First figure pass by, Isis' eyes narrowed. She had been raised on tales of Heroes and Villains and the various Exploits...but surely not. That couldn't be, could it? He was a Legend in his own right, the Sacaean who had been with them at the last moment, the man who had nearly thrown his life away to Serve his friends...Yaen?
No, it was impossible, Not many people had seen him since then, and many assumed that he had died on the field of battle, a Hero and a Martyr, or at least they had in Isis' tribe. But the man before her cut the same sort of Pose, had a similar figure...older, yes, but still...
"P..Pardon me" she started, only to be cut off by the man who had been in the stream when she had gotten there, another practitioner of the Arts of the Blade, by the look of him. When he asked the two of them if they were Traveling through, her face flushed, instantly thinking that this man somehow might have thought that her and the other were moving together.
"no, I mean..yes, I'm headed towards Ilia...I heard there were some Groups there hiring people experienced with a Blade, so I was hoping to find work" she said, her eyes wandering over to the other man once more...This time she wouldn't be interrupted hopefully.
"Excuse me...are you...Him?" she asked, her voice soft, filled with a distinguished sort of Awe. If it were Yaen, then one of her fondest dreams would have just come true...to meet one of the Legendary Warriors.

Yaen raised his head at the sound of the mans voice. He whiped his mouth on his sleeve, then nodded. "I'm just passing through." He informed after Isis had spoken. While his speech had severely improved over a course of five years, Yaen still preffered short and simple words. More of a habit than anything, really. Shifting into a sitting position, he rolled up the legs of his pants, then dipped his bare feet in the water, letting out an audible sigh of relief. There were a few represcussions for going barefoot everywhere, and this was one of them. Still, he would never put on a pair of shoes. Not unless he absolutely had too.
At the girls question, Yaen blinked. He then turned his head to better look at her. "...Him who?" he asked. "There's alot of 'Him's in the world." Yaen himself was mostly oblivious to whatever fame had come to him. As far as he was concerned, he was just a Sacaen that had gotten lucky. Very lucky. And for a bunch of people he didn't even like, no less.

Saturos furrowed his brow. Not only did he manage to meet two people in a relatively unpopulated part of Sacae, and not only were they not together, but one of them was a..."him"? Well, maybe he was somebody famous. Too much time spent out in the middle of nowhere. I mean, he had been going into larger towns before, but that stopped about 4 years ago. Now he preferred the quiet life. Every once in awhile he make a trip to a small mountain or plains village, sure, but he hadn't heard anything big in awhile.
Saturos shrugged. "Makes no difference to me who you are," said Saturos, sitting down on the stream shore. "I'm just glad to have someone to talk to." He put his things down, opened the sack, and pulled out a fish. He gestured it to them before taking a bite of the raw fish. "Want one?" he asked.

Falling silent from the Rebuke, The Girl straightened her cloak as she stood, stepping back from the River. "Nevermind" she said, her voice suddenly Brusque as she turned her back to them, scanning the area that she had just come from, deep in thought as she considered the Face on the Man...she had been pretty sure that it WAS him, but with a reaction like that, either she was wrong, or he wanted to be left alone, and She could understand that.
Hearing the offer of Raw fish, She turned back and shook her head, reaching down to a small pouch that she kept on her belt, removing a piece of Pemmican, that odd mixture of Shredded meat, fat and oftentimes, small berries, pounded together and formed into an easily carried disk or strip by allowing it to Dry in the shape. Placing it into her mouth, she allowed her saliva to melt it somewhat, tasting the Venison and chokecherries that she preferred as she looked down the River for a minute, Chewing, swallowing, then speaking.
"Is there a Bridge down the river any or do I have to Try and Jump it?" she asked, not really caring to get wet at this point of the day.

Saturos shrugged as the girl denied the fish. Her loss. Raw fish was good for you. Cooking it takes all of the healthy oils out. He took another bite of this fish. It was a bit slimy, but Saturos had gotten used to that. It wasn't so bad. He went into town once and learned that they even had a dish like it somewhere. It was called sushi. Apparently, though, it was bit more...refined.
"There's no bridge anywhere within this vicinity," Saturos replied. He then looked down at his feet. The water went up to just above his knees. "I don't think you'd have too much trouble crossing here, though."

Yaen blinked at the girls sudden mood swing. "All...right..." How strange. She asked him an utterly generic question, then got moody when he asked her to clarify. Women were, beyond a doubt, insane and illogical creatures. He then gave the other Sacaen man a funny look as he bit into a raw fish. Now that was just plain nasty. "I can give you a ride across if you don't want to get wet." he offered to the girl.

Frowning at the news of a lack of a nearby bridge, Isis sighed softly, her eyes wandering from one of the other Sword-wielding men to the other, narrowing as she did so, her mind totally circumventing the proffered advice and assistance as she realized the social Faux pas that she had made. Turning to Yaen, she bowed, repeating the process with Saturos.
"My apologies" she stated, "My name is Isis" she added smiling thinly, moving away from the bank as she looked over towards Yaen, then Saturos, awaiting their introductions

Yaen nodded at her introduction, then slowly stood to his feet, unwilling to leave the water. "Greetings, Isis." he replied, returning her bow. "My name is Yaen."

Saturos held his hand up, palm open. "Oh, no need to bow. My name is Saturos," he said, smiling. "I've been living around these parts recently."
Saturos sat down on the stream bank. "So what brings you two to this neck of the woods...well...plains?"
