Zaath continued his walk in the forest, trying not to focus on the past, and consolidate his thoughts more towards the future. He couldn't seem to stop thinking about his dream. He now, just maybe, had a little grip on his previous life.He had a big brother, a mother and a father. His father was in danger. Did Edward, his father die? The questions flurried in his mind, now haunted by just as many queries. Who would want to kill Zaath and his family? Why? What could of happened to traumatize Zaath and destroy his life? Not all of his memories had returned, but the ones that he had felt crucial.
Zaath walked next to the river, as it helped remind him of the coolness of the forest where his new life began. He felt as though it it was of high priority to find the man responsible for destroying Zaath's loved ones. He was sure that after he had his revenge that he would feel the Shadowy presence that was lingering over him vanish from existence.
The estranged man glanced at the forest around him, pulling his thoughts away from his past once more in an attempt to find out exactly where he was. He looked around at the thinly trees and the spattering of brush, noting a thin mist was hanging in the air. He listened to the tune of the forest around him. a few birds chirping, light drops of rainfall drizzling as an after effect of the earlier downpour. He listened and looked a little bit more, honing his senses and saw something surprising pierce the mist. A small group of travelers.
He first noted a man in a long black robe addressing a young, dark dressed boy. Zaath decided to make a tactical decision, unsure of the threat level of the two.He simply ducked behind a tree, pulling up his hood and slightly turning his head round' the trunk to get a slight glimpse of the pair.
The taller of the two seemed a little agitated as he questioned the boy, yet his words where hard to make out from the distance. He decided to stay back until the duo had finished their little dispute.

"Some town in the middle of nowhere in Etruria, and I killed a couple of rabbits. "Morgoth replied reverting back to speaking in his normal, demented voice. Might a well speak regularly now then later, besides it hurts my throat. He started messing with his cloak. He then realized he hadn't mentioned his name. Hehe.. he's probrably all freaked out, some kid appearing wanting a teacher and not even mentioning his name. "My names Morgoth, sorry about my manners."

Shadow stared at the kid, in utter disbelief. Throughout his time in school, he watched everyone and noticed one huge similarity that all shamans possessed; being descriptive. Even he, when he did talk, would explain in detail of his thoughts on elder magic. This student of the dark arts did no such thing when explaining his first interaction. Because of this, Shadow saw little to no hope for the kid.
It suddenly dawned on him that he left Alphonse to himself this whole time. Shadow looked back, and saw Alphonse looking back at him, or at least, what it looked like. He noticed Alphonse's eyes were not focused on him, which probably meant that the shaman was unseen. Shadow knew he had to wrap this pointless conversation up, so he turned back to the kid.
As Shadow looked down at the young man, he heard the other shaman finally say his name. It didn't even matter, now that he stopped speaking in that horrid voice. Shadow knew that he couldn't help the kid. He decided to give it to him straight. "Morgoth, I want you to heed my words when I tell you this. You need to head south of here, maybe a bit east as well. You will find a proper school for soon-to-be shamans. They may be able to help you. I cannot teach you, however. I'll give you one warning only; if I find you following me, I will dispose of you. Now leave." He knew that he was being harsh, but it was for the best. It was apparent that Morgoth had no idea what he was getting into. That, or he was looking for something he would loose himself in. Now, all Shadow could do was wait for the shaman's response.

Wat? I didn't expect this,I hate schools Morgoth thought. So now I can look weak by begging or I can leave.Or... "Fine, but can I come back when my trainings over?" he asked and noticing a cringe at the sound of his voice,"Sorry,my voice is changing."He flipped his hood on, waiting for a reply.

Zaath listened intently to the conversation now, having caught that the one in the large black robe, Shadow, is a shaman, and guessing by the prescience of the little one, a powerful one. He had caught that the younger one, Morgoth, was attempting to persuade Shadow to become his mentor, but Shadow would have none of it. Tough luck.
Zaath sat behind the tree, tired and hungry, and decided to go out and ask the Shaman for directions to Illia. Surprisingly to Zaath, he was in fact a little lost, mostly due to all of the different rivers and streams in the area. Figuring that they where just about wrapped up their conversation, even thinking that his interjection may make things easier for Shadow to end the bout"Excuse me... tall one in the big black robe, could you point me towards Illia,or even better, the nearest town?" Zaath understood that he would soon be out of food and barley had any money left, so he would have to work in the nearest village for a few days to make some money and gather some of the local edible flora. Hopefully this Shaman could point him in the right direction, or if Zaath was really lucky, might need a traveling companion, though he did not look very social...
Zaath hoped that Shadow was aware of the impending threat of bandit highway men in the area and would consider adding a sword to his party. Zaath quickly glanced left and right to check his surroundings and almost jumped when he saw a man in a white robe standing next to one of the many thin trees. How did he not see him?
"Oh, and by the way; my names Zaath."

Alphonse turned back from the forest and looked towards the taller mage of the group."Well yes, of course," Alphonse said trying to dodge his first question, "I was planning on... meeting a relative a mine," He said, his voice slightly filled with sorrow towards the end. He looked down for a moment, reminiscing about his past and then glanced up at the group and saw them taking quietly to each other. "Now now, are you that suspicious of me?" Alphonse didn't blame them, now was a bad time to be any man of the church with all the zealots running around. "I assure you, all I want is to travel north to Ilia, that is all, I don't want to cause any trouble." he said in a kind voice.

Gabriel tried to concentrate on the matter, but as the conversation went on it seemed like a the forest was getting louder and louder. Were those...voices?
"I don't have any particular place to go to, or a reason to go anywhere. To be honest, it would be the same to me if I were to go to Ostia, Illia or Bern. I don't mind whichever is our next destination. I guess my primary goal now is just to see as much of Elibe as I can." Gabriel said. It seemed that there was no reason for him to hide the truth for the moment.
"But that made me wonder...what were you all doing around here in the first place? Where were you headed to?" he asked to Errol and Papilion.
OoC: I'll mail Errol, Papilion and Jya to try and get them back into action.

Shadow looked blankly at Morgoth. Yes, he was happy to see him go, but something bugged him. Not the fact that the young shamans voice had to keep changing, but he asked if he could come back. How could he? The weird kid didn't even know what his name was. Shadow's response was as simple as it could get. "No, now go south of here." He pointed towards the south.
He couldn't actually watch Morgoth's reaction, because another person came up to him. The person was also darkly garbed. He also was quick to speak. As Shadow listened to the man, he noticed the sword. He kept an eye on it, knowing the man couldn't see his eyes. Then the man said his name; Zaath. After that, there was a moment of silence. Mostly, because Shadow was listening to Alphonse speak. Shadow then quietly said to Zaath, "I'll answer your question soon. Just follow me for now."
There was a brief moment of dark movement at Alphonse's right side, then Shadow stood a bit behind his shoulder. No sound came from the him, but he did tap the priest's right shoulder. Instead of facing the priest, Shadow was getting a good look at the rest of the group. It was an odd gathering, but it didn't bother him. Shadow was always known as 'odd'.

"I'm in a similar way, though I actually had a preferrence for Lycia or Sacae,"'because they seemed the best starting points for a counterattack...'"but Illia would do just as well. And I went into the forest because I felt too vulnerable on the road... That didn't actually work so well," he continued, remembering the bandit attack.
Then his attention was caught by two dark-robed men who had joined Alphonse.

Things sounded quite around him, looking on the ground he saw and heard nobody. Climbing down things were okay. If he heads north then it would be a few miles to the north east of the small town that Elise and the shadow syndicate were hiding. They only moved cities once after setting out. It was shortly before he stopped replying to her letters.
Before leaving the woods he started to travel north. He saw normal animal life going on, snacked on his jerky a bit and wished he took the human blob's horse. He was sure it wouldn't mind it's much, much, muuuuuuuuch smaller rider. When he was unable to go north anymore while staying in the woods he started east finally exiting the woods.

Morgoth turned and walked away, not paying any attention to the other man.He walked for about ten minutes and stopped in a small clearing. Now what do I do?I've got no teacher and I'm in the middle of nowhere. Morgoth took his tome from his cloak and opened it.He started chanting, bitterly the words he had practiced months ago using notes he found in the book.He pointed his hand at a tree...and nothing happened. He yelled with an angry yell and threw the tome to the ground. He stood there for a second, and proceeded to pick up a stone and threw it at the tree. When it hit the tree there was a crack, leaving a small dent in the tree.Morgoth looked between the tome and the tree for a while and then noticed a paper hanging slightly out of the tome. "Whats this..." The paper had hand righting on it, and he began to read. OoC:Does it make any sense? Or did I make things go to fast.

Saturos sat up and yawned. He had fallen asleep. He looked around. "I wonder how long I was out?" he said to himself. Saturos stood up and shook his legs. No sign of the "hermit" or the rope. Looks like he had been hoodwinked. With a long frustrated sigh, he put on his armor and grabbed his sword, sticking his empty carrying pouch through his belt loop. Nobody appreciated a random act of kindness anymore.
He walked a ways, not really sure which way the thief had gone, until he happened upon two boys in mage's clothes, a priest, a dark clothed man and what looked to be some sort of hippopotamus. No, wait, that was a man. Of course, it was a man. Hippopotamus didn't live in Etrurian forests.
Walking up to the group, he waved. "Hey there, strangers!" he greeted them. "I'm sorry if I'm interrupting, but have you seen a man in purple clothes come by here? He's about yay high and I believe he stole my rope."

Alphonse turned his head towards Shadow, looking at him with a slightly frustrated smile on his face. "Where have you been, talking to your imaginary friends?" Alphonse teased Shadow. His smile disappeared into a straight face and he leaned closer to Shadow and whispered "Shadow, I don't think they trust me, and with that, they probably aren't going to trust you either. I say we convince them that we should stay by showing them that we aren't bad people." He finished his monologue with a sigh and glanced back over at the group.

Shadow listened to what Alphonse had to say. He even put up with the comment about his 'imaginary friends.' Within the darkness of his hood, Shadow glared at Alphonse. The priest knew he hated it when Alphonse teased him. Still, he remained silent, until this companion finished. Shadow then said in a very quiet voice, "It will be very difficult to get them to trust us, being that we also have another darkly clothed person with us, at the moment." He then looked back to see Zaath behind them, seeming to wait ever so patiently. Shadow said nothing to the swordsman, then once more examined the group in front of him.
There was the sleeping girl, who still seemed out of it. Then there was the rather... bigger man. Shadow also noted the two mages, one looking much younger than the other. Now, there was another person, one with a sword. The one with the sword asked about a person who stole his rope. Shadow said nothing, as usual.
It was sudden, but the shaman felt very uncomfortable. He was used to solitude, only hearing the sounds of nature. Now, he was with a whole group of people. Shadow was never one who cared for company. Yes, going with Alphonse was a bit odd, considering what he would usually do. But now, being with seven people in the same place, this was not what he had expected journeying to Ilia. Shadow was starting to fear that more people would come...

OoC: For the record, Errol is only a year older than Gabriel. Go look up our profiles.
Gabriel saw a tall guy with a dark robe on step behind Alphonse. Alphonse seemed unfazed, so Gabriel merely supposed they were traveling together. And then there was yet another black robbed man, standing behind the two of them. This one's hood was down, though.
The he heard Errol's comment on his travels, and the swordsman who had just come out of nowhere, as cheerful as a little kid.
"Purple clothes? This height?" he said, making a small gesture. Hiro wasn't much taller than he was, even if the former was almost ten years older. "I guess he's not coming back either. Just as I supposed" Gabriel added, with a sigh.
"Seeing how we have no real objective as it stands, I don't think we'd mind the company. A healer is always a nice thing to have around."
It just bothers me that we can't clearly see the face of the second guy.
Magic could be sensed in the air. It was not just the same feeling that had been around them ever since Errol appeared. It was not just Anima magic this time. Gabriel vaguely recognized the scent. Elder magic. Probably one of the dark robes.
