"Glad to return the favor." Aaron said, "We'll have proper introductions later but for now, call me Aaron. Looks like the others could use some help."
As Aaron ran toward the group he looked around for the most useful task he could do. There was still scattered fighting going on, but by and large the fighting was over.
As Aaron looked up the road he saw a number of figures where the bandit had come from. Specifically an archer on the ground. He didn't look like one of the bandits.
Aaron ran to and knelt by the man, quickly taking out a vulnerary. He didn't know if this would work. The archer's breathing was shallow and labored. With the precision of a trained medic, he quickly spread a portion of his healing salve over the wounds. Aaron looked around to get a better view of the area. The rest was up to the other man.

After seeing the remaining bandits flee, Lilith put her arm under Wyatt's and said, you shouldn't have done that... I hope you didn't reopen the wound." she smiled at him and tried to shift his weight on to her. "Let's get back to Denzel and the rest, it looks like we have some pleasantries to exchange,' she laughed, eyeing the newcomers.
One had the look and robes of a mage, and the other was older, and by the look of his heavy armor, was a knight of some sort. She loved meeting new people, it was like having a fresh start in the world with every new face she greeted. She longed to hop-skip over to the two men, but her want to aid Wyatt was greater.
Before making their way back to the main group, she called out a Wein. She looked over to him, and saw that the mage had made his way over to him. After bowing, she said to the man, "Hail, wizard. That is my friend you have treated. Thank you for healing his wounds. I am Lilith DeGarte, a pupil in the Elder Magics." She then gave the mage a small curtsy and said, "Wein, are you well? We should be getting back to Sir Denzel!"

OOC: Just to let you all know (And I'll subtract 1 post from myself for this message) I'm not calculating EXP for this fight like I did last time. Too large, and way too complicated. Aside from the normal amounts, 30 per engagement with an equal or greater leveled foe, everyone gets 50 EXP for clearing the raid. Remember anyone of a trainee class get's 1.5 times normal EXP.
Also:
After the battle, the following spoils were found: Denzel found: Iron Bow, 50% used. (Round down) Lilith found: 40 Gold. Yaen found: Vulnerary, one use remaining. Malachi found: Javelin with 100% uses. (The amount of 10's I saw on the random number generator with this roll boggled my mind, you lucky man you.) Aaron found: 20 Gold Selk found: Slim Sword with 25% uses. Wyatt found nothing.
Funny thing was, each bandit only had a 10% chance of having something. You guys have the damnest luck. Keep in mind, these are just the items your character found after the battle, if they keep them or not are your choices.

OoC:I'd like to keep the gold please Do I get the 30 exp or 10 as stated in "Gaining Experience" by Kenshin? IC Aaron stood up. He had done all he could for the archer in their present location. The adrenaline was fading out and and Aaron was astonished by how much energy a few spells had cost him. I have to increase my endurance, He thought Otherwise I'll never become strong enough to do the things I truly wish to accomplish. A girl was approaching while trying to support a young, injured redhead. She introduced herself as a student of the elder magic, which surprised Aaron since she was dressed closer to how an anima mage would be dressed. "Aaron Winsett. Mage, and aspiring sage." Aaron said as he finished a quick bow in return. "I'm just glad there weren't more of them. Things could have turned deadly for all of us." "Is there anyone else in need of immediate medical attention?"

Malachi opened one of his vulneraries and put the bottle to his lips and drank the entire thing in a few seconds. He started towards the rest of the group above him on the path. Malachi looked down at his new weapon and held it up above him letting the sun shine off of it, admiring it. As he approached the mage he looked down at the body. He starred at the lifeless man on the ground, Malachi could tell he wasn't a bandit. He kneeled down next to him and examined him closely. The mans face was pale, and he wasn't moving at all. Malachi shook his head and stood up, looking at the rest of the group.

OOC: We don't know if Wein is dead or not yet. If he doesn't respond...well I'm not exactly sure.
IC: Wyatt winced slightly as he felt that Lilith was correct, his wound had opened up slightly. Not a major gaping hole, but enough to be painful. With her help he moved over to where everyone was gathered before sitting down, and then he surveyed the battlefield, and the injured. Wein was bad, Selk looked like he'd been in a bar brawl, and neither of the two newcomers looked really well off. Yaen appeared like he'd just done morning exercises, and then Wyatt thought.
"Hey, where is Denzel?" He asked, glancing around before noticing a small pile of armor pinned beneath a large bandit.
"Oh jeez! Let me..gah-" Wyatt had tried to spring to the young cavaliers aide, but his wound had put him right back down on the rock he was sitting on with a fierce reprimand. He wasn't traveling on this, that was for certain. So that meant.
"We need to find a place to recover. Shouldn't there be a fortress they were using as their base around here?"

Lilith winced as she looked at everyone else's injuries. It was because of other people's sacrifices that she was practically unscathed. She looked over at Wyatt, who had tired to move a pile of armor. "Well, how did that happen?" Lilith gaped, rushing over to Denzel.
She yanked on the large bandit on top of him, but she wasn't strong enough to lift him. "Oh my..." she threw her entire body weight into the bandit's torso, and he slip off of Denzel. "Denzel, can you hear me? Are you alright?" Her fingers trembled as she tried to reach the ties holding Denzel's armor on. If she could get it off, she could find and injuries and heal them.

Denzel coughed up. 'Ah, yeah. Uh, I'm fine, Lilith.'Denzel said his cheeks turning red as Lilith bend over him. He was NOT though. The armour and the massive bandit pressing down on him had cut off the bloodflow all over the place. And Denzel couldn't feel his right arm anymore has blood was seeping out the deep wound in his shoulder. And his situation was just plain embarrasing. Unbefitting of knight it t'was.

Aaron looked around and saw a dead bandit nearby. He studied the corpse while he slathered some of the vulnerary on his injured arm.
Boy, this stuff sure does go fast. he thought to himself as the skin began re-knitting itself on his arm.
Aaron stooped as he noticed a pouch at the bandit's belt. Once he opened it, the mage found the object of most criminals greed.
"Gold." Aaron said, disgusted. "This is what they murder for."
At least this will help buy the next vulnerary. Aaron decided

(OOC: I'm up, I'm up! Summer + camping = little/no internet, sorry)
Wein blinked through the pain. His vision was hazy, but due to the ceasing of stabbing pains in his limbs, he took it that the bandit was gone. Another person had walked up to him, but Wein hadn't the energy to respond to his movement. Had he seen the man before? He wasn't sure; everything was a blur. It hurt so bad. Wein wasn't sure if he was dead, but he didn't think so. He could still feel pain. Then again, pain only disappeared when you went to heaven. Wasn't hell a world of pain? Maybe he was in hell; he sure hoped not. Wein wasn't hugely religious, but he still believed people were either divinely rewarded or punished when they died. Death. He didn't want to die just yet. There was still so much to do. Had they won? What happened? Was anyone else hurt? Wein still had to get home; his parents were waiting for him. He had to get back to Niew. They were all waiting for him. Wein tried to lift up his arm. Pain shot through his body. Pushing through, he managed to wiggle his hand. "H...h..." Wein sputtered through foamy saliva and pained lips.

Selk had been left alone at the battle's opening, and now he was alone at its end as well. He took one last look down the path to see if any bandits could be left. Seeing no movement at all, he turned around and began to walk over to where most of the group was now located. He could see that several people were wounded, or had been moments ago. Selk was still feeling the effects of that large slash wound on his side. He was beginning to feel dizzy from blood loss. Heh...best be quick about fixing myself up.
Selk took his helmet off and layed it at his feet along with his lance. He then began to unstrap and unbuckle his body armor in order to take it off. After a few moments, he carefully slipped it off onto the ground beside him. He winced from pain as he kept it from just falling to the ground and gently set the armor down. Selk pulled up his shirt to survey the damage. As far as battle wounds go, he expected that this was a lighter side of the damage one might take during combat. He snatched his vulnerary from his waist again and applied the salve to his wound. It stung and burned at the same time, but the wound began to seal quickly. Feeling relieved, he tied the last bit of his vulnerary to his waist again and slipped his armor back on, fastening each buckle and making sure every strap was secure.
He then looks in the directions of Aaron and Malachi, one after the other respectively. "We were lucky you both for showed up when you did. If you hadn't, I think we all, especially me, would have met our end. My name is Selk Mar, and you have my thanks."

Yaen sheathed his blades and promptly sat down on the ground. "Well, that wasn't very enjoyable." he commented, looking around to see the damage done. He then noticed they were missing someone. "Hey...Wheres...Blast me for a fool! Wein!" He exclaimed. Jumping to his feet, he grabbed the closest vulnerary he could see and started off, scrambling up the rocks towards the man he left behind.
"Oh my...Wein..." he muttered, seeing the mess before him. "It's okay, Wein! I'm here." he said, putting his hand over the archers. Uncorking the vulnerary with his teeth, he poured it over the archers wound, then tossed the empty bottle aside. "Come on, Wein..." he muttered.

Wein coughed with life. "Ughhh..." he moaned as his wounds healed as the near magical liquid of the vulnerary poured over them. While he could feel the pain being sucked out of his body, he still ached. His vision came into focus. "Yaen...?" he asked, squinting. He put a hand to his forehead, closing his eyes. "Why does my head hurt?" Wein rolled his head. "I...I'm not dead, but is everyone alright?"

Malachi turned towards Selk as he introduced himself. Malachi looked at Selk with a straight face as he said, "Hello Selk, I am Malachi Zsoldos, knight of Ostia." He examined Selk from head to toe. He looks like a knight, but he's a bit too young to be one. Probably a recruit then. "Where might ya be from Selk? You look like a knight of Ostia yourself." He said, smirking at the end of his sentence.

A howl ripped through the cliffs and Wyatt stood up, wincing.
"There are locals, and we've spilled fresh blood. We need to go, because we don't want to be here. There is enough food here for them to not pursue us, but we should get going." Wyatt looked further up the mountain. "If there were so many bandits, their fort should be close. And most of em ran down the mountain, so I doubt there is anyone there. It's the safest place, plus the wounded need places to rest."
He picked up the shattered remains of a lance from one of the bandits and used the stick as an makeshift walking stick.
"Come on, it'll be getting dark soon and we don't want to be out here when it is."
