Bane landed, Eragon jumped off and walked him to the stables. While walking he saw something he had never seen before, it was a big horse, compared to all the horses he'd seen.(of course he'd only seen one horse besides this one)He stared at it then walked away. He went to put up Bane but, he was to big for the stables, so he tied him to the outside off the stable. He saw somebody so, he walked up and asked him his name.

Garnet nodded his appreciation to the knight, "Yes, and I intend to get the most out of that room you provided as well."He walked out, considering.
Rayl seemed to have been through alot of hard things in the past. Garnet knew how distracting grief could be in combat, and decided to try to keep tabs on the knight in any future fights, regardless of what the knight said. As a village guard, he had learned to protect those who were around him, yet in the fight, he had thought only of survival. That will be mended. Garnet thought, I'll make sure to not let my own distractions effect me again.
As he approached the inn, his thoughts were interupted by someone asking his name.
"Uhh...Garnet." merc had not expected any one to address him before he entered the inn. "Who are you?"

Zakon sat down at a table near the others. He appreciated Rayl volunteering to pay for their rooms, but the night was still young, and he couldn't see himself paying for his meal with as little money as he had. He suddenly realized that the green haired bowman (had he heard his name?) had caught sight of him, with a look that said he had been specifically looking. "Do you feel comfortable in a place like this?" Zakon asked to start a conversation.

"My name is Eragon, as you can probably see this is my Wyvern, Bane. I'm from a village in Sarcea. I also jumped off a cliff because my parents were killed and i landed on Bane."

Abel heard the familiar sound of wing beats, and excused himself from the table. He walked over to the door and saw Garnet talking to a boy in black armor with an eye patch through the window.Abel thought he heard a clank and hoped no one was looking through his stuff. He walked back to the table and sat down in his chair. "It's kind of homey. And I think I have some extra money if anyone needs it." Abel dung into his bag for money, and the key to his cabin fell out. "Ops.." OoC:Should bandits attack tonight or should we sleep peacefully?I vote peace

Fargo was about to answer Zakon's question, when Abel began to excuse himself. The archer said to him, "Okay, see ya later." He figured that he left the room, so Fargo's attention was back on Zakon. It was kind of weird, how he wanted to try talking to him. Instead, it was Zakon who talked to Fargo first.
The archer looked at the boy with a smile. Fargo then replied, in a cheerful voice "Yeah, I always feel comfortable in inns. My parents owned one, and I grew up in their inn. So, I'll always have that same, like, feeling, you know?" It was, in a sense, a rhetorical question, and by the way he spoke, it kind of was obvious. Still, Fargo kept the smile on his face, and ran his hand through his hair.
He started up again, "So, Zakon, are you good with any weapon? I mean, Rayl, he's a cavalier, so he's got lances and swords he can use. Garnet and Abel are both sword users. And I'm, like, an archer. Do fight, or, well, anything like that?" The only kind of person who would ask that kind of question would be a younger person. And because of that, Fargo felt a bit embarrassed about it.

"Hmm," Zakon was glad the conversation had started off smoothly, Fargo - that was his name - seemed like a good person somehow. "Unfortunately, I'm no good with weapons," in fact, Zakon had never tried to use one 'Though having human techniques to fall back on would make things easier,' he considered, "but I can fight... If I need to." 'Perhaps I should shift the subject a little. "So, why did you decide to take up a weapon?" Zakon hoped he wasn't creating a bad situation for himself. If something happened to expose him... he didn't want to think about it.

OOC: There shouldn't be any bandit raids or anything, we only just got out of a fight. Roleplays arn't just about violence ya know? ;P IC: Rayl was resting his head against the stall door, letting out a sigh as he looked up to the ceiling for a time, and closed his eyes to get some rest: he'd never been able to sleep well these past five years, the slightly dark skin around his eyes was proof of this...but...today was different. Despite the fact he was sitting on a bar stool he'd brought out here, he soon found himself lulled to sleep as birds outside said their good nights, and the neighs of horses in other stalls, mostly likely due to the disturbance of having a flying carnivore tied outside. It must have been the wing beats as the wyvern had descended that truly caused the cavalier to drift from tiredness to slumber, and the dreams he had weren't so peaceful. ~Five-and-a-half Years Ago (OOC:Woo! Story time kids!) IC: There was trouble in Bern...Trouble with two wings, four legs, and a giant temper that matched it's size, as it soared through the skies, setting fire to the city in which Rayl, Alcibie, Jya, Delroy, Jackie, and others had been in. At this point, it was safe to say that Rayl wasn't [quite so sober, and he vaguely remembered locking that monk in a burning building for some reason which probably wasn't a good idea. He then remember when he first met Elibe. The guards had burst from the city barracks to find those responsible for the fire, and they must have figured that that giant dragon, Aeri- something, had been with Rayl and Co., and had proceeded to engage them in battle. Now, At this time, Rayl had ridden some horse from the ranch he worked on, who was going frantic...a drunken blur later and he found himself in a joust with a Bernese Cavalier...having bested the man and his own horse struck down, he mounted up onto the Bernese Charger and took off with the others....after some encounter with that Aeri- dragon and being saved by some guy wielding Barigan's sacred weapon, he left the group atop Elibe (at that time unnamed), for reasons he no longer recalled... ~Present Day~ It was obvious Rayl didn't get much sleep as he jolted awake, sweating slightly from the vague dream that constantly haunted him. They were the reason why he felt that he needed to go and seek out everyone he wronged and try to ask for forgiveness...It wasn't a long list, but it was fairly difficult to find them: - Captain (easy) - Alcibie (Very hard, especially due to Alciphobia) - Night ( VERY easy) - Jya (easy) - Persephone (Very hard...where is she anyways?)

OoC: Fargo, I don't think Able actually left the room. I think the key he was referring to was the key to his cabin in Etruria...
BiC:
Garnet was caught off guard and confused at such an abrupt introduction. Garnet was always a little suspicious of people until he got to know them, not trusting them enough to truly be at ease around them. This young man, coming up to him, and telling a story which was gibberish to him, surprised Garnet. He was also puzzled by the introduction of a wyvern.
"Bane...?" Garnet turned his head and started in surprise at the sight of a large, black, wyvern. It beat its wings and Garnet felt the breeze blowing across his face. Garnet! Weren't you just thinking about not being distracted!? Get ahold of yourself man.
Garnet took a deep breath, examining a new sight. He had never seen a wyvern before. The scaly wings seemed to glow a greyish light as the sunlight shone through them. It seemed so sturdy and strong, that it could probably knock part of the wall out of the stable if it wanted to, which was the only way it would get inside, due to it's great size.
Just because he was a little suspicious, didn't mean Garnet couldn't be pleasant. "I was just going in to have a meal with some companions of mine, rider. Would you care to join us?" Garnet watched as some of the inn's horse handlers edged around the wyvern and into the storage area, trying to continue their work without disturbing the beast.
Maybe He'll explain more over the meal. Course I don't need to know his history to have a meal with him.
Garnet headed into the Inn and found the table that his travel mates had snatched. As he approached the group, he called to the proprietor for a glass of whatever was favored around here.

OoC: Don't worry, I'll edit a part so it all goes together. ;D
BiC: He smiled at Zakon, nicely. Sure, he didn't mind telling him how he came to like the bow. In fact, it seemed intriguing to Fargo to be able to tell something about him. The archer was just about to open his mouth, when he noticed Abel. He hadn't seen him there, Fargo had just figured he left the room. He must have completely zoned out about his surroundings. Fargo ran his hand through his hair, and blushed to himself. Wow, that was stupid of me. I hope I didn't offend Abel... Now, he was especially embarrassed.
After a short moment of awkwardness, Fargo started up again, "You wanted to know why I liked the bow, right? Well, it began a long time ago. I used to, like, sneak out of town, and just explore a bit. You know, just goin' and having some fun. One time, I met this hunter, and I basically watched him. It took him, like, only a second to see me, and we talked. After a few years of going out of the town to see him, he totally taught me these cool techniques with the bow. I was totally, like, thinking how awesome it was to be able to do these things. Then, well, I left town, and the funny thing is, I left today. Kinda weird..." Fargo trailed off, thinking about home. Yes, he did miss it, but he couldn't go back. He promised himself that he would be a great hero.

IC: Abel picked up his key an put it back in his bag while he listened to the other two's conversation. He got back in his chair and put his coins on the table.
"So...what do you guys want?" He aimed this question at no one in particular.
"I'm aiming for some meat and water."

Garnet pulled a chair out with one hand, and sat in it, leaning forward with hands folded on the table.
"That sounds good to me, but I think I'll order some rolls as well."
He nodded his thanks to the inn keeper as the man brought the drink over.
He considered his drink for a moment. The inn keeper had called it Santaruzian mead. Garnet looked up.
"While I don't really approve of drinking, I'd like to get a taste of the local fare."
Raising his mug to his lips, Garnet took a drink. It tasted sweet. He grimaced as the taste stuck in his mouth. It was sweeter than he wanted to be tasting at the moment...or the next hour.
"Maybe he better bring some fruit over too." Garnet mumbled.

Eragon thought about Garnet's invatation and decided to join him. He walked in the inn and saw where Garnet was sitting at, he pulled up a chair beside him. Then he walked to the inn keeper. "Sir, may i have some beer, a stake, and an apple if you have one?" he asked. The inn keeper handed him his order and said, "That will be 10 coins." Eragon payed the man and went back to the table and asked the other men (Besides Garnet) there names. Then while he waited for them to answer, he remembered about his parents, and wished they were with him so the could see bane. He shoved the thought out of his mind, and thought about the present, thinking about that reminded him about something. "Hey Garnet, do you know of anyone that could teach me how to get better at using a lance?" he asked.

Rayl, after spending some time with Elibe, finally set foot in the bar, but instead of sitting with his comrades, he headed straight for the counter, sitting next to a slightly drunken man, pen and parchment in hand," Bartender, this man's next drink is on me." The man gave the knight a tilt of his hat as the drink was placed before him," Yer a gud man, sir knight! I've heard about ye aroun' these parts...lookin' fer some stories 'bout a man named Crowley, eh?"
Rayl gave the man a smile, and held his pen in anticipation: this man looked like he had a tale to tell," Yes sir I am. Would you mind sharing one with me, if you know one?" he ordered himself a salad and an apple: the latter of which he'd be giving to his horse. so with this, the man began to tell Rayl a story about Crowley, one involving some sort of adventure into the frozen tundras of Ilia, where he saved some women from wolves...
Once the man was done, Rayl thanked him by ordering him another beer, before THEN sitting with his comrades with his salad, having tucked the apple into one pocket, and his writings in another. Having just arrived in on the conversation, the cavalier gave a laugh," You are talking to a group with a trained knight in there midst, if you wish, I can help you learn along the way, and we may perhaps spar someday." with this said, he began to eat his salad in peace, thoughts drifting about to multiple things, then to the lady he loved: Persephone... ... ...too bad he didn't know she died five years back.

OoC: Heh, did we lose our group, or is everyone just waiting for some one else to post?
IC:
Garnet was about to reply to Eragon's question about lance training when Sir Rayl joined them.
"Well, there's your answer" he said, smiling to the wyvern rider.
He set his mug of mead down on the table, not intending to drink any more of the liquid. He failed to notice that he had placed his mug down near his neighbor's. Close enough for them to accidentally switch drinks...
OoC: I didn't specify who I sat next to and don't really care...
