It didn't take long for the young archer to understand that Zakon didn't want to talk. The silence told Fargo that the young man needed to be to himself. He had walked away from Zakon, hanging his head low. The young bowman wanted to make a friend, but instead, took it too seriously. Fargo walked away, in a semi-depressed state of mind.
As he walked, he thought of all his friends back in his small town. Fargo missed them, and everyone else. He recalled his mentor whom had taught him about the bow. There were many fond memories for the young man. Initially, Fargo was homesick, and couldn't do a thing about it.
Sometime later, Fargo had returned back to the inn. He read a sign, The Soldier of Fortune, and knew he was back with his acquaintances. He looked to his side, and saw a fight, but was uninterested. Fargo simply avoided the crowd of people, not bothering to see who was there. He walked through the door, still having his head low.
Soon, the archer found a secluded table, with no one sitting down at it. Fargo headed straight for there, and sat down. Sitting down with no one for company, the young bowman thought about his discussion with Rayl. About what he believed a hero truly was. Fargo thought about the men Rayl had mentioned; one named Matis. He thought about what kind of man it took to be a hero. Do I have what it takes to be a hero? Fargo sat and pondered, solemnly, on the subject.

Garnet was concerned about Abel, but had confidence in the young man's strength. If he could fight like that, it was likely he had been injured before. garnet also knew that there was a skilled healer in the house. He'd seen her work earlier.
He was more interested in trying to peace the Green haired womans line of speech. He was about to get it when he realized that she was now translating her words in perfectly clear common-speak.
He was a little perplexed by her switch in language, but got over it quick enough. "Hmm... Thats interesting that she can speak so clearly in proper speech."
"I didn't say anything about being cut out for piracy earlier. But tell me, what does a pirate find herself doing so far inland." Garnet didn't much care for pirates, bandits of the sea, but there were also many folk legends about pirates where he grew up. They were interesting characters. He ought to take this opportunity to speak. "Perhaps, out seeing the lands and the sights therein?... I'm Garnet." He introduced himself, unconcerned with being called "m'boy". It was unlikely she was much older than him, if at all.

OOC: Look up Cefia posts and see if she says Rayl or Cavalier. Alcibie shook herself out of her shock. It probably wasn’t the same pirate. I mean there has to be a lot of green haired pirates. Sure tons of green haired monocle wearing pirates out on the open seas. Okay maybe not, but there had to be at least two?
Alcibie approached the myrmidon and held him by the shoulder. “Don’t worry about it.” Alcibie stated making sure the bones were at least still aligned. Thankfully she would not have to break his arm before healing it. She had done that before. Boys tend not to like to when you do that.
The cleric held the staff to his arm and released the magic. The blue glow dispersed and his wounds were healed. “I hope you cause your enemies more pain than you do yourself.” Alcibie smirked.

OoC:I was talking about earlier when you hit me.
IC:Abel smiled about the joke she made and thanked her."I hope so to, or else our mission will end bad." He saw Garnet talking to the pirate girl, so he retrieved his bag and found some clothes and a note in it. He took his letter with him back in side the bar, and when he saw Fargo at a table he went over and sat near him. He opened his letter and began to read.

The sounds of the shinny yellow things mommy adored drew her attention out her window. There were people outside in the ring. Daddy said it was a bad idea to play in the ring while other people were inside it. He went really red once, when she went to play in it, and Mommy’s face turned the color of her hair. Then everyone ran away from her.
“That’s right! The book!” It’s okay to play with the book…but only outside, when it’s not raining, and not by the barrels, or some other things. Mostly don’t burn down the place, mom said that a lot. Lilly dove towards the bright red book and picked it up. “Found you~! You can’t hide from me.” Lilly looked around. “Not even when Mommy puts you on the top shelf. Shh…it’s a secret.” Taking a deep breath Lilly pulled the book up from the ground and into her arm.
“No Falling!” Lilly commanded the book as she bounded towards the bar. “Mom? Mommy?” Looking around the room and seeing no purple hair. “Daddy?”

Rayl eventually shrugged as everything began to calm down, before returning inside the bar to think: He'd be leaving in the morning and head to Ilia. He gave a nod to his two companions inside, and was about to head up the stairs when something black floated at the bottom of his view. He thus looked down and set his sight on Lilly, the daughter of his friends," Why hello there." a spoke softly with a smile on his face, as he knelt down as to not seem towering and intimidating, something he had picked up over the five years," Do you remember me?"

“Uncle RayRay,” Lilly smiled looking up at the man in blue. He wasn't Daddy, but dad wore blue too. “Have you seen Daddy?” Lilly asked looking up at him. “I can play with my book outside when the people are in the ring.” Lilly stated tilting back and forth with her book. “It’s bad to set the inside on fire. I can set the outside on fire. Also if Daddy’s throwing someone out the window I can set them on fire when they’re outside, but only after Daddy threw them.” When her uncle did not automatically respond she went on.
“One time I set Daddy on fire when he was throwing someone. Mommy put it out, then…your eyes are blue. My eyes are blue-green, that means sometimes they’re blue and sometimes they’re green. See!” Lilly pointed to her eyes taking her hand off of her spell book to point to her eyes. Without her other hand holding the book in place, it began to slip and Lilly stumbled forward.

"Sorry Lilly, I have not seen your father, most likely he out and about doing what he does best."
Rayl could only help but smile as Lilly began to chatter away all happy and carefree-like, oblivious to the problems of the world. He couldn't help but feel a tiny bit jealous of Night and Alcibie, to be blessed with such a happy child. When Lilly began to fall, he caught her as gently as one could in armor, and laughed slightly," Don't worry Lilly, I have you! Would you like me to take you to your mother now, though?"

Lilly looked up to him, her arms wrapping around her book. He had caught her. Daddy was more fun to play with. He liked to play with the book. Mommy tended to jump a lot. Daddy just cheered her when things went boom! One time she got a barrel to go Ka-Boom! Daddy had danced with her under the sparkles. Mommy had checked her for burns. “Mom tends to jump really high when I play with the book.”
“Where is Mommy? She does like to have someone not here.” Lilly looked around the room still not seeing her mother inside. She looked back to her Uncle as if he knew something. “Did Mommy go outside because Daddy started shouting Leeroy Jenkins?”

"With the book...?" Rayl could only wonder until the thought of magic came to his mind, and a chill went up his spine, though this was not really noticed," Yes, your father was throwing people out the window yesterday. your mother is outside tending to some sort of...ummm...fun related incidents..." Despite how much he liked children, he never was able to communicate with them using simple words they'd understand," Well Lilly, you better run off to your mother now! I'll be leaving soon, but next time I visit, I'll make sure to bring you something, okay?" he gave another smile before getting back up to his feet, moving back out the door, propping it open to get some air in, before heading out to the stables to, as always, check up on Elibe.

“Whenever Mommy goes someone’s hurt.” Lilly stared over at the door and frowned. “She gets Angry when people are hurt.” Her head bobbed up and down while nodding to herself. Then uncle RayRay announced he was leaving. Lilly blinked, “Okay, bye-bye Uncle RayRay. Bring me a cake m'kay?”
“I wonder if mommy will let me have cake? Maybe if I don’t set the crates on fire. I should promise not to light the crates on fire for cake.” Her mind made up Lilly nodded to herself and headed off towards the ring. “Can’t play in the ring when people are inside…”

"No...more like wherever Alcibie goes, someone gets hurt." this was said once the young girl was out of earshot, before opening the stall and letting his good friend out," Alright, it's high time we moved on out, eh ole boy?" he tenderly patted Elibe on the side of the neck before strapping his lance to his back, saddled up, and exited the stables at a brisk canter, and as he went by the people around the ring, gave nods and waves goodbye, hoping to one day meet his companions again. Despite how much he wanted to stay, he knew he had a mission to accomplish and he was really close...
...that and he had a deadline to consider also, before he'd have to return to Castle Pherae and off memory lane.
OOC: Exit Rayl from the thread.

"Just worried, nothing more," Cefia responded to Garnet question with a somewhat annoyed tone. The problem had arisen when she had been unable to send a letter to her family in Etruria.
"Well, aren't we goin' th' job yet?" she slipped back to her pirate accent and such, trying to ignore how some people were surprised at her change in tone. What? They never saw a literate pirate?

Garnet picked apart what she said easily enough. "I'm just waiting to hear from our employer. Or Abel. I should go and close up shop with our hostess."
The red-headed merc approached Alcibie and spoke. "Alcibie I appreciate how you and Night have opened up your house for us, and I'll remember this place when I come back this way."
With the good part done with he now continued on. "However, I've got a bit of a problem. My horse, Fable, is in your barn, and I'm about to go on a short excursion. I'd like to leave him here while I travel, since my companions are on foot. You're, of course, free to use him for tasks around the inn, until I come back."
Now he was just waiting on confirmation from the lady of the house, and waiting on Abel to come out. Then they could get on the road.

“It couldn’t possibly end that badly.” Alcibie replied back. What she didn’t say was how bad of situations she had been in. Healers were always needed in battle and healers were always the first ones the other side went after. She almost began to follow Abel inside when Garnet approached her.
“Your horse shall be safe here, believe me no one will bother it. It was nice having you hear. Not all new faces are friendly ones.” Alcibie held her hand out to Garnet. “I wish you well.” They shook hands and Alcibie went back inside. Funny this place had not seemed so lonely before. Before she used to run around from town to town being chased by bandits, dragons, and wyverns, home was nice.
“Lilly?” Alcibie called out seeing the child wandering around in the middle of the tavern. Then she spotted the red book in her hands. The color drained from Alcibie’s face, where was Night maybe he would go play with the fire thrower.
