Komodo was walking with Aeros, Tut, and Manuel as he noticed a wyvern gliding through the clouds. It landed near where Theian was last seen. Komodo approached the house and entered with the others, he waited to see where he was bunking at. He was about to ask when he just fell on the floor snoring. OoC: Sorry the post is short but I'm having a brain freeze and can't think about anything

Eragon landed and jumped off Bane while saying "You called?" all at the same time. He himself was wondering another question that alot of people had asked, "When do I get paid?" His stomached growled as usual, he was hungry. He looked at the cut on his arm, it's not that bad he thought at least I didn't get an axe to the chest... Well with all his luck one thing he needed was "Can you heal me?"

Theian looks at Eragon. "Oh, yes! Eragon's payment... Um..." He gets out 20 coins and hands it to Eragon. "Take 10 coins for your payment. Now, for the healing, see that troubadour in pink with blonde hair? Ask her for a healing, and show her the money. She'll charge you, no doubt about that. Give the change to me. Not now, though. We must talk."
Once Francis comes over, Theian begins talking. "Now, I have twice as much money to get us a mercenary task force. However, we cannot go to the main one in Ilia, as now, we cannot pass though the mountains. Instead, we'll have to sign up at the smaller station at Laus, and then progress from there. We'll stay here for a day or so before heading toward Laus."

Garnet payed Evayl, and looked around at the villagers and the other gathered people here. They reminded him of his old home. I can't stay here.... Maybe it's time for me to return home.He looked around at the others. "I'm leaving for Laus now." He slung his damaged armor over his shoulder and started trudging off the long road ahead of him. As his equipment bounced against his newly restored side, he had a thought. Maybe I can get this stuff fixed somewhere.-exits thread-

Abel was going to try and get Garnet to stay, but he disappeared. So Abel followed the others into the town and thinking that the boy Eric would know about Kasey. He ran up and said, "Do you know a girl by the name of Kasey? She has blue hair and is probably is about your height and age."

Tuatara held onto Aeros' dragonstone until they arrived at Manuel's house. He then let go to enter the house and began to pocket random items. He came across a large ax which he began to drag while stealing other stuff. He made his way back to Aeros, where he stole the dragonstone unaware and started trying to stuff the ax in Bob unsuccessfully.
"Can you help me Aeros?"

Theian looks in his bag, and screams in agony. Gold teeth were missing.
"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT?!!!!?!??!?!?! MY MONEY! 15 GOLD TEETH TURNS INTO 7?! THIS WILL NOT DO! 1500 GOLD IN ZOMBIE TEETH WILL NOT CUT IT! 3000 WAS THE DEAL!"
Theian scowls, and packs his things. He was not going to lead a group only for them to obtain nothing. No... he was meant for greater. Gold has been lost... but it was not the end. Memories flash through his head, as he remembers the Inquisional Army... from Etrucia. Of course, he'll join again. This time, he will the serve the Superior himself, and he will not fail in gaining money. His eyes shine once more, but this time, only one glows a bright gold. The other fades to a dark green... Now in the trance-like state, he walks toward the mountains. The mymeridon prepares, as he plans to climb the mountains, to get to the army. He had already failed before, but this time, he'll do everything to get what he wants.

As Rayl rode, he began thinking backwards. Sure he had just left his men to continue that part of the mission, but Lady Lucy was capable: he'd trained her himself...not her magic skills, her leading skills.
Unrolling his map, he stared at a general area between Caelin and Pherae, then scanned his eyes across, past Pherae to Araphen, through Sacae, and then into Bern. The path was simple, however what would happen once he got there would not be. He would have to speak with the Envoy from Ilia there, and try to persuade them not ONLY to join the alliance of the unifying states of Lycia, but also to liberate Bern...
Now it may have seemed odd for Rayl to want Bern to under it's own control again, but it all had to do with Kraft, AKA The Prophet. Rayl knew and respected the fighting spirit of the Bernese soldiers: From the man he had killed in a joust ( the original owner of Elibe), and to an extent Alan, despite his rather...well it was hard to describe it other than to just use the man's name as a descriptive verb...But the point was, he knew that a free Bern would be stronger in the fight against The Prophet, and despite his fears of going there...it had to be done, the fate of the people, and not just his, rested upon it. up ahead in his view was a village that appeared to have survived a recent bandit attack...and even from the distance he was at...
...He could see dragon prints...Had it been Aerious? No...the village would be on flames and there wouldn't be people in it...well alive people...There weren't many dragons abound, and using his memory to recall the dragons he had met, he could only deduce that it was either the Dragon Aeros, or some other he had yet to meet...
...he dared not think about the young dragon, Myra...

Aevian breathed toughly as she finally caught up to the Paladin. He may not have been riding fast, or had, either way, he had a mount, and those covered distances faster than that of a human on foot. her entrance into being known by Rayl wasn't subtle at all, as she breathed deeply, and slowly once she was able to.
"About time...I caught up to you.."
Aevian paused beside Rayl as he brought out the map, and doubled over, panting from the long run she was definitely not prepared for.The axe on her belt was quite uncomfortable for running long distances, but with that short mini-break, Aevian rose up and stretched her arms over her head.
"Interesting decision to leave your column to the mage knight and the boy.."
Her eyes flickered up to him as she played at removing hair from her face, and smirked, before looking down at the ground and at the tracks, larger than any Wyvern she had seen before. Another dragon? Or the same? No...too small for that other dragon..
Disregarding the tracks on the ground, she could definitely tell there was fighting done here, there was smoke around, not necessarily new, but it was there.
"Where are we?"

Rayl turned from the saddle in surprise when he heard the voice. It was the noblewoman from Bern...he wasn't one for taking advantage of situations, but her being here could prove useful in his mission. Halting Elibe, he dismounted, putting a hand on her right shoulder," I have business I must attend to...in Bern." He had not spoken of this plan with anyone except for the Marquess, but since she was here, it was best it was known now than when they were at the royal castle gate. his eyes then lowered down to the tracks in the village square, taking a moment to observe them again, before making the decision to investigate," We will take a brief detour, however, I'm sure you can tell why."
Thus saddling up again swiftly, something learned through years of practice, he then extended a hand down to Aevian, his trademark smile on his face," I'm sure you'd rather not continue walking with all that gear."

Aevian had more or less calmed down and caught her breath by this time that she swallowed and nodded her head, breathing at her regular pace once more. An eyebrow flexed up at Rayl inquisitively at his mentioning of Bern, and gave a small nod of her head. he had mentioned it before, actually, atleast something of the sort to her. She would be his way in, afterall.
"Oh, no thank you."
Aevian waved off his offering hand and rolled her shoulders under the metal plating covering them, and tugged her cloak till it loosened from her frame.
"I prefer to walk...but if I get tired, I'll take you up on the offer."
Aevian gave a small nod up at him, and then rested a hand atop her axe, thumbing the crescent moon blade with her gloved hand, before pulling it free, and flt the weight of the head of her axe being balanced by a small metal spike on the opposite side. She loved this weapon.
"Well, lets investigate, then."

As the two made their way down into the town, some of the citizens looked up in fear of another raid, as they could only make out the silohettes of the pair from across the sun, but these fears were put to rest when they caught a better look of the two well armored, proper looking folks...That and they then noticed that the knight was no other than Sir Rayl, local hero.
"Pray tell me what has happened here my good friend! The smoke, and these tracks across the ground!" he waved a hand towards the prints. One of the villagers, an older man, with scraggly white hair and long beard, began to yammer on in a tone that was hard to hear, as Rayl repeated the words aloud for himself and Aevian," Bandit attack eh? That explains the axes scattered here and about...Dragon landed in, scaring them off? Did you per chance hear any names?"
The old man yammered on, with names he had not heard before and were currently of no importance: Theian, Francis, Evayl...Evayl? That sounded familiar...however Rayl could not figure out why...then the old man spoke a familiar name: Garnet. The mercenary from Laus?
And then the man paused, and stuttered the name of the dragon he had heard the village leader speak: Aeros. Rayl remembered this dragon well...he was with Crowley and company in Etruria when...no let's not think about that now...but Aeros was nonetheless a good man...dragon.
The old man continued," Staying here? Show me." and with this, he signaled to Aevian, weither she knew it meant to follow or not was irrelevant: his moving forward deeper into the town was information enough to learn.

Aevian was perplexed by the man's backward accent. She didn't think that people who lived in the same nation as one another, should have such a large varying to their accents. it was hard for her to understand, and was thankful that Rayl was there make it clear so she understood.
Well, atleast it's over this time..
Aevian had thought to herself as she looked around at all the axes...filthy looking weapons, none of which were probably too sharp, and ready to break at a moments notice Shrugging her shoulder, she looked and saw that Rayl had begun to walk off, so with a light step with her feet, she followed not too closely, still holding her axe at her side as if ready to use the weapon.
"Lots of dragons still inhabit the world it seems...I wonder how many exactly are still around.."

"When Aevian spoke semi light heartedly about dragons, he held up four armored fingers," I've meet four in my lifetime, and Lady Saffra spoke briefly of her village, so I'm sure there are many that remain...not that I have anything against them." A pause as they continued walking towards the chief's house," Just one of them." It was obvious who he was referring to, as they both endured the same thing," Not that I would wish them dead mind you, as I understand their reasons...but, such careless slaughter..."
The irony was not lost on him, however the heroes were only protecting their own kind: they were not the ones themselves to start it...Barigan would not have willingly killed Dragons.
