OOC: Continuing from 'Leaving for Research'
Soul walked for days, going through villages, stocking up on food and water, resting in very old rest houses. Not the normal life an acolyte from the church is used to, but she was taught how to adjust when she was young. It was still quite a long way from the Etrurian-Lycian border- it would take her at least a month to get there and cross it. The news of the Ostian explosion piqued her interest. She wanted to find out what exactly happened there. It was different to explore and investigate on matters. Definetly better than sitting in a church all day long preaching about the almighty Prophet and St. Elimine.
Even though she did not believe in St.Elimine or the Prophet's words, she clung on to her lightning tome. People say that the power of light magic is derived from blind faith- in that case, what was her faith? What exactly did she believe in? The most powerful of light spells had unshakable faith behind them. She had always wanted to be a powerful acolyte, always interested in magic. So what was her faith then? This was an answer she was looking for, another question compounded on to her long list of unanswered questions.
She was about ten kilometers away from the province of Nilenia. Before going there she decided to stock up at this little village she had landed up in. It was better to stock up on supplies and rest- it was going to be hard carrying on by foot. If only she could by a horse here...
She went of to find some inn. No good looking for the stables when you don't have a place to rest.
