The dragon blinked at the man who answered before his clear blue gaze sharpened. Instincts honed by centuries of life called out that the man was a danger, and one that shouldn't be angered if he could at all help it. And so, he changed his approach mid-stride, stopping from just marching in when the door opened. "Yes, you perhaps could." His voice rang out before gesturing inside. "I had heard about this expedition in the tavern, and rumor has it some going on it are here. I wished to obtain information if at all possible. May I come in?" He was polite, not intrusive (as unobtrusive as he can be at any rate), and hoped that the man would play along.

Jya frowned as she tried to analyze the situation. She had followed the young man and the other two women, keeping to herself. The new inn wasn't that hard to infiltrate, but by the time the first girl arrived in the room, she missed her chance to get into the room. All she had managed was to listen in on the conversation.
She didn't like what she had heard. Sure this whole rebellion was practically a death sentence, but lately walking around was much the same. There was little binding her to the man except her inability to come up with a name. She adjusted her clothing, and began to think of the matter. It came to the point that she didn't believe she can be anymore wanted than she already was. Then the plan unfolded and she couldn't help but sigh. It sounded like a death sentence, much like her usual experience.
She could no longer remain silent about the matter. If she was going to help them, then she wanted to make it clear to them all. They called her an assassin, but she never found any meaning behind the title. All she did was kill, quick and efficiently. If surviving is what they want, then she will be close behind.
"This all sound...bad." She managed to say from beyond her place as she showed her face to the three. She glanced at Hiro then to the silver haired girl and finally to the blonde hair.
"If you need a distraction, I can offer my services, especially if the people would think the..." She paused, but soon confided,"that maybe the Emerald Wraith did it." Yes, all she had to do was not get caught.

Hiro's head sank when Mel had asked if he would like sausage in his sandwich, the nerve of the girl offering him something as filthy as pig! "Damn it woman. How many times do I have to tell you, I don't eat anything as disgusting as pork. Down right filthy scum of animal does not enter my body." He had placed his right elbow on his leg propping his head up with his hand as he spoke. Now looking to the left towards the girl "I was asking your name and if you wanted my wife to get you something to eat." Then the crap hit the fan, his 'ace in the hole' had blown it's cover. He had hoped Jya would have remained silent in hopes if the gremlin or the cutie patootie blonde had tried to cause harm to him his precious little guardian angel would have came to his aid. Hiro turned towards Jya, raised his right hand and pointed to her. He began to talk then stopped a couple of times as he shook his hand up and down a few times. "I... No... Actually... Er... Hold that thought... Well... What's I'm saying is, I have a general idea of what I'm doing buuuut the problem is I need to wait to see what I have to work with before deciding on what's the best course of action. Judging by that oaf earlier, I may need your skills elsewhere."

"Hrm? I mean yeah, sure. I guess, come on in." Well now, that was a bit sudden. He wasn't expecting to be tracked down about the mission he was gonna take part in, he knew basically nothing outside of what that guy said in the courtyard the other day. He held the door open to let the man come in, and shut it once he was inside. It was chilly out, so he was more than happy to close the door. The man stood there in a white robe, and without the snow blinding him he could get a better look at the man he was talking with. Val began to rub his arms and let out a small shiver, "Whew, it's cold out..." He muttered for fiftieth time today.
He looked at the man and then again at his forge. He's taken quite the break by now, but it wasn't like he was going anywhere so he could spare a bit longer to help this man. "I don't know a lot about this expedition to be honest, but I'll help you the best I can." Val grinned, at least this man was being polite. Unlike that other guy the other day, he gave Val the heeby jeebies. "It would probably be best to talk to the man in charge, but I'm not... sure where he is. Or who he is, for that matter. Oh wow, I'm walking into this blind aren't I?" He started with a chuckle, but ended with a sigh.
"Well, I should introduce myself. I'm Valcrist, a blacksmith. Which is why I'm here in this forge." He shrugged it off, no reason to get bent out of shape. "What do you wanna know? I'll try my best."

The man let himself in with a sigh as the door closed. He stood somewhat awkwardly, as if unsure what to do or where to honestly begin. However, it was the man's comment about trying to find the one that was leading it that set him off with a soft chuckle. "I would suppose so, and I would ask had he not been in a room with several women. I had figured prudence was in order, and chose to find others who may know more." He gestured towards the forge then. "All aside, you may think it cold, but this forge is quite hot to me."
He then blinked at the introduction, then the tone. Agitated perhaps. "I am Taiel. Perhaps, in exchange for information, I can guard your back should I have need of going. However, in certainty, I would like to purchase a few pieces of leather armor, should you have it." He tugged at the sleeves and readjusted his shoulders, perhaps showing just what he intended the armor for. "This being said, any information you can provide would be beneficial."

"Wow, you Ilians have impressive tolerance for the cold don't you? I can't stand it personally, it feels like I'm walking through ice itself." Valcrist rubbed the back of his head with a small chuckle, making the smallest of small talk. He gracefully tiptoed over the topic of their leader and his 'room full of women' because it was none of his business and he had a feeling that if he knew more than his determination for going on this trip would falter a bit. Who wants to be led around by a lecher after all? "I'm from Nabata myself, if my skin didn't already give it away. I have a hard time with the cold, heat's no problem though."
The man seemed a little distant for some reason, and was acting a touch odd, but that also was none of Val's business. The smith was a little uneasy, but it didn't interfere with his cheery demeanor. Or cautiously cheery, or whatever you'd call how the smith acted. "You don't need to feel obligated to buy anything." It wasn't Val's smithy anyways, he'd get nothing out of it. He wasn't a leatherworker either, so leather armor (outside of the basic idea and principles) weren't something he knew. "If you want to buy some armor, you should speak with the person who owns this place. He's up front in the store." He hiked his thumb over his shoulder, pointing in the general direction. Then he looked at Wein, and then again at the odd man. "Don't worry about paying me back Taiel, it's just some information. I'm more than happy to share what I know." The more people they had, the more likely they'll succeed, right? So it only worked out for the smith.
"Um..." He started, thinking for a second. "If you want me to start from the top, I will." He shrugged, a bit confused. The man hadn't actually... asked anything. Did he just want Val to tell him everything he knew or.. how did this work?

"Maybe he should get over his gynophobia..." muttered Wein, leaning over and whispering into Valcrist's ear. "I mean, I can give him tons of information: the structure of the Church of Elimine, the rise of the Prophet, a people's history of Etruria, a comprehensive list of the venomous snakes within..." Wein stopped, glanced at the hooded visitor, then turned his mouth back to the younger smith's ear. "I could go on, but I doubt he wants any of that."
Wein crossed his arms and stepped forward, choosing to take control of the conversation. Obviously Valcrist wasn't familiar with informational exchanges. You gave people hints, just enough to get them curious, then fleeced them for everything they were worth. That was the enterprising method, at least, and over the years, the Ostian had learned to be nothing if not enterprising. After all, where else would he get the money to buy all of his trinkets? "Shh, sir," he said, placing a finger in front of his lips. "You can't just go talking about things like this out in the open." He put a cupped hand to his ear and pointed to a random wall and gave Taiel a suspicious looking eye. "The spies of Etruria could be listening. We need to be careful with who we speak to."

Taiel observed the two with a raised brow as he quietly listened until they were done with their small argument. Once they were done, he nods and straightens his posture to stand at his full height. "I understand then. Something to try and find at a later date. But for now, any information you would have on the expedition itself would be a welcome boon." He gets settled against the wall and readies himself to listen. To the dragon's credit, he only started just slightly at the sudden appearance of the archer into the room, and so he settled to where he could keep an eye on both of the men.

"That guy was standing on a box and shouting it in the town square. If this was secret information then it's doing a pretty crappy job at that." Val just sort of raised his hands in a sort of confused looking shrug. "Still you seem to have more experience with this sort of thing." He brought his hands back in into a cross, a sigh on his breath and no will to fight Wein on this. It wasn't really a big deal. Valcrist wasn't really experienced in the whole 'information trade' or whatever.
"I'm gonna go back to smithing, Wein here will fill you in." He leaned over and said aloud to the robed man. Moving closer to the forge he continued to work on his backlog so that he could start with his own personal projects quicker. He had a few ideas burning in the back of his mind, and the quicker he could get these weapons done the quicker he could finish them. It wasn't just Wein's bow, there was something else. Something important, something special for him. He couldn't wait until it was done.

Butorega was good and sleep when he heard a knock on his door. The brigand stirred in his bed as the knocking continued. Rising up like a zombie Butorega grabbed his axe. “Who is it”, spoke the brigand. A familiar voice came from behind the door.
“Buto it is me Faith”, spoke the maiden. For some reason her and Bones had came back earlier. That or the coalition had already anticipated that they would go and argue for Butorega sake. The brigand pushed the desk off in front of the door. He opened it to see his two friends.
“Buto we need to go now”, spoke Faith.
“Why”, spoke the brigand as Bones was grabbing his stuff and stuffing it back into his bag.
“The Coalition wants to meet you and have you explained what happen. We meet Wales on the way there. He was brining the new orders.”
“Wales”, spoke Butorega with discontent. “Alright”, spoke the brigand as he grabbed his bag. “Lets get going before those old men get anxious. You know they like to stab first and ask questions later.”
“Just hurry up and move”, spoke Bones. “We got a long way to go and do not have the time to waste here.”
“Fine fine”, spoke Butorega as he walked out the door.
