As Valin stabbed forward Butorega began to move. Valin had armor and could afford to take blow, but Butorega had none. A stab into the gut was not something Butorega wanted. Even more so with the guards behind him.
As Valin stabbed forward Butorega turned his body toward the side that held his arm. At the same time Butorega let go of the axe giving him the ability to move his arm. The spear tip ripped through Butorega leather jacket and sliced through his flesh, but the wound was nothing in comparison to being stabbed through. Butorega was able to turn the impalement into a slash.
"Son of a bitch", shouted Butorega as he slammed his fist into Valin's face. He pulled his arm out of the grip leaving his iron axe behind. He rushed past the Wyvern Knight his dragon Albus swooped by to retrieve his master. Butorega walked into the mains street as the guard moved up to where Valin position.
"Captain", shouted Bones as he rushed toward Butorega. Maxwell was still looking on in shock. He was not sure to praise the rider for turning the situation around, or to praise Butorega for slipping out of a maneuver that should have ended with his death, or at the very least a lance in his gut.
"What the hell", shouted Bones as he stared at the gash on Butorega mid section.
"Bones", spoke Butorega without looking at the man. "Hand me your spare axe", he spoke as he stared back at Valin. Butorega was now serious. He underestimated the man before and would not make the same mistake twice.
Bones handed Butorega his spare Iron Axe. The bandit took the axe and began to walk forward toward the guards and Valin. "Come on Boys", he shouted as his men followed behind him. "Let’s teach these dogs a lesson." For the first time in a long while Butorega was angry.

OC: I didn't think you stick around after the guards showed up in force. But Im having fun with this so lets dance some more shall we.
The blow to Valins face sent his head spinning by the time he regained focus the brigand was gone and was rejoining his men. Valin was angry for The Destroyer was a better fighter then Valin could hope to match. He mounted the wyvern pain shooting through his whole body the fall had done more than he thought at first. Valin cursed his armor for that damage but thank it in the same thought for sparring him an axe in his side.
When he returned focus to Butorga the Brigand had produced another axe. The Bandits rallied behind there captain ready to take the fight to the wyvern knight and what he hoped were his allies. Valin felt a small part of himself slipping into fear. But he regained himself pulling on his pride as a wyrven rider a true symble of Bern's military. Valin know he couldn't defeat The bandit captain but what of his lieutenants?
Valin looked at the coming raiders and spotted a caviler with a dangerous look about him. Readying himself Valin took to the sky hoping to flank the Horseman during the Bandits full attack.

OC: Oh right I forgot to mention that the npc are open for fighting and killing. The only ones you can't kill is Bones, Faith, and Tiffany. Nobunaga and the rest are all fee game. Just keep in fact they are skilled warriors and will not be cut down like grass. Also you don't know Butorega and the Coalition. The guards were already calculated in. They plan to kill them just as well as the civilians. No one was supposed to survive. Oh almost forgot. Remember you have a Vulnerary so you can heal.
As the rider took to the sky the guard charged and so did the bandits. Threw away his torch setting the last house on the main road ablaze. He drew his lance and prepared to join the other, but in the corner of his eye he noticed the Wyvern rider hovering from above. "Tsch looks like I have company", spoke Nobunaga as he turned his horse to face the incoming attack.
Meanwhile Butorega lead the remaining eight against the town guards. He charged in letting out a bloody roar. His rage was building. He wanted to plant his Axe in Valin skull, but the rider was too high in the air for him to do that, and plus his men needed a leader. Maxwell was a captain as well and a good fighter, but Maxwell was not one to lead men. He was better as an organizer or planner. He was not fit for Black Fang and everyone knew it.
The two groups clashed an immediately the bandits suffered a casualty. One of Maxwell's men was cut down by the guard captain, but Butorega quickly returned the favor. One of the guards attacked the brigand with his spear. Butorega side steeped the spear and grabbed the shaft. He sliced the spear head off the pole and planted his Axe through the man's skull. Bones swiftly followed. He used Butorega as a vail to block a soldier view. He popped out from around his captain and planted his axe in the spine of the spearman fighting Faith.
"Thanks", spoke Faith.
"Don't thank me yet", spoke Bones as he clashed with another guard. "We.. still.. have .. more ....enemies to kill", he shouted as he threw his opponents weapon back. Tiffany the eight foot armored giant simply stood back towering over the reast of the warriors. She only fought when she was attacked and defended Lander as he blasted his opponents with magic. I soon became quite obvious that the advantage was with the bandits. The guard doubled their number at the beginning of the assault, but now their numbers were even.
Butorega's men held their own. The mandatory group training seemed to pay off for the group, but Maxwells men were taking heavy casualty. They had already lost two of their five unites and the guard captain just finished off a third. It was not looking well for Maxwell's unite.

Valin hastly rubbed the solve on his wounded side to ease the pain and balanced his lance to meet the horseman head on. The wyvern knight swooped to down hoping to still to catch the Caviler unaware but as he flew closer it was made perfectly clear that wasn't the case. Nobunaga met Valins charge so the to would be exchanging lance blows. Valin stayed the course until the last second pulling up and to the left slightly causing the horsemans blade to slide across ablueses scaled hide. Valin quickly stabbed behind him and he felt flesh being cut. The knight looked behind him hoping to see the horse man falling but his left arm had been cut.
"Is that best you got weakling?" Nobunaga jeered coming about. Come on down and fight I'd like to see you bleed when you die." Nobunaga charged forward again a clear challage. Valin swooped down again Lance tucked into the pocket of his armpit. The two collided hard Valin being cut across his right forarm and Nobunaga losing his horse sending fling to the ground hard. The horseman rolled four feet before getting up. "why won't you die scum?" Nobunaga said point his spear at Valin as he landed. "I could ask you the same thing." Valin spat back turning for a ground charge. Valin speed forward tucking the lance into place again. This time you die both men thought as the wyvern galloped across the space between the two men. Nobunaga dodged left as the mount and rider suddenly jumped right pivoting to face Nobunaga. Albues then lunged and both fighters thrusted a final time. Valin was grazed across the left side of his armor and the horseman was stabbed in collar bone on the right side the lance point welding its self in the breast plate causing Valin to lose grip of his weapon. You..killed...me Nobunaga said almost questioning it as he laid on the ground. Valin rode up to the bandit "That I did." pulling the lance free.
Valin saw then that the guards were being overwhelmed. ""I have to go faster then this...Damn this eye! Valin said as he took to the skys again. Valin would now have to choose his targets carefully if he was going to do anything to turn the tides.

"Nobunaga", shouted Lander grabbing Butorega attention. It was not just a soldier falling in battle, but one of his own men. Butorega turned to see the rider flying into the air and immediately rage began to grow in his heart.
"Him", spoke Butoerga. As Butorega turned a guard though he could capitalize. He charged the bandit with his spear. Butorega however keep the man in the corner of his eye. As the guard charged knocked the tip of his spear toward his left side. The spear moved past Butorega body pulling the soldier along with it. The soldier stopped and turned around, but as he did so Butorega came down from above slamming his iron axe into the man's shoulder. The force from the blow drove the axe head clean threw cutting off the man's arm.
"Butorega", spoke Maxwell as he pointed toward the guard captain. She was fighting Faith and Bones, and from what Butorega could tell it was not going well. Bones was slashed and Faith was being pressed into a corner. "Butorega you are going to have to stop her leave the wyvern knight to me."
"And Me", shouted Lander as he launched several dark magic attacks at the rider. "His mount won't save him from my attacks", spoke Lander.
"Hay doesn’t underestimate him", spoke Butorega as he moved to engage the halberdier. "Tiffany follows me", spoke Butoera, and the eight foot giantess followed though at a much slower speed.
"Die Bandit", shouted the guard captain as she brought down her sword to finish off Bones. The blade was blocked by Butorega's Axe.
"Butorega", spoke Bones as the Guard Captain and Butorega weapons clashed. To the Guard Captain great surprise Butorega was just as strong as she was.
"Get faith and get out of here", spoke Butorega as he threw the woman’s blade back. "There are a few stragglers; I will leave them to you two."

Valin felt some thing or more the lack of something as the night grew darker and then suddenly pain hit both Valins and Albues bodies. Valin dropped down ten feet and the night become clear again, Valin then saw a dark robed man guarded by another man in red armor. The wyvern rider know the dark robed man was the greater threat and he needed to act fast. Valin felt his senses be cut so he swooped forward but was cut off by a dark orb forcing him to narrowly mannewver away. Vlain tried to gain distance but the orbs where forcing him downward at the same time the red armored soldier was readying his lance and moving into striking position.
Valin swooped down trusting his lance at the soldier when another orb appeared Valin stopped just before impacting the darkness. A spear suddenly erupted from the void piercing Valins right leg, Valin quickly trusted into the darkness but felt nothing and then flew upward. Valin tried to gain height but again the was forced to skirt striking range of the red armored warriors spear. Valin and Maxwell traded blows and parries as valin tried to get to the shaman but to now avail. Valin was forced to break away when a Void enveloped his left side casing move pain then full immersion. Valins Vision began to blur making evation harder as the orbs came in rapid secession. then just as suddenly as the pace increase it stopped all together. Valin wasted no time a drove toward the bracing soldier. The Knights Haste proved a huge mistake as a large dark void appeared and Valin past through it even as he pulled away. Pain overwhelmed and he fell from his mount Lance in hand falling fifteen feet and hit the ground.
"About Time! See if his still breathing." Lander said trying to find the wyvern in the sky. Maxwell walked ran over to Valin, the knight was bleeding out of his mouth, right arm and leg the wound on his side was bleeding again from magic of stress Max well couldn't tell but bastered was alive. "He breathing but not for long" Maxwell said pointing his lance at Valins neck. "Then hes all yours." "No I thing Butor...I mean Balgoth will want this kill." Maxwell turn to call his friend ""HEY! We got you a gi..." Maxwell was cut off as a lance pierce through his gut and exited out his back. Valin had to mustered last of his strength to pull the lance out. Valin turned his head to the shaman and stared with defiance. "You bleeding bastered I making this hurt." The shaman said charging the last of the magical energy. But before Lander could finish the rider off Albues takled him for behind pinning the dark mage to the ground "Please Don't!" Is all He got out before Albues ended him. The Black Wyvern rushed to its master. Valin fond hidden strength and stood up. "Thank you my friend." Valin mounted Albues once more some how he was alive but there was little else he could do the shaman and soldier had taken there toll.

down to five. Butorega, Faith, Bones, Tiffany, and one last soldier in Maxwell division. The other seven men that had marched with them into the heart of the town were dead. The guards had also taken heavy damage. They had started the battle with a force of twenty guards and one extra. Butorega's charge shattered their ranks and splintered their forces. The guards were now down to eight. The extra was not dead, but he was currently in out of the fight. One of the guards was a healer which dimed their numbers down to seven capable fighters. They still out numbered the bandits, but there moral was shot. Everything rode on their captain who was beginning a duel with the leader of the raiding force.
The sound of metal clashing against metal filled the air as Butorega and the guard captain clashed. Both were on equal strength, but the captain had the advantage of weaponry. She was wielding a steel sword and held the advantage against Butorega in quality and in type. Butorega however held an advantage in speed as he did not carry around the armor, nor did he have the massive shield.
The first to draw blood was the guard captain. As she swung her blade she caught the brigands arm. "Alright Captain", shouted the Guards. All fighting seemed to stop as both sides began to watch the two combatants duel. It soon became evident that whoever won this duel would win the battle.
"Damn", spoke Butorega as he grabbed his arm. The wound was bleeding, but it was manageable.
"Time to finish you off", shouted the captain as she charged in. He shield lead the way as she knew the destructive power Butorega held. She was not going to let him get a hit in.
Butorega rolled toward her shield side, as she expected. She turned her body and stabbed toward the ground with her blade, but the brigand was able to quickly recover and move out of the way. She slashed at Butorega with a horizontal attack cutting off the Brigands movements. Butorega back was now against the wall as she charged in for the kill.
Butorega quickly lunged to the left. He was on her sword side, but the stabbing motion she used as she charged prevented her from slashing out fast enough. Butorega quickly turned to counter attack but the halberdier easily saw through his stratagem. Her steel blade clashed with Butorega axe as she quickly turned. The added force knocked Butorega axe out of hand.
"Damn your shabby grip", cursed Butorega as he regretted using Bones' Axe. The shaft was too smooth for Butorega and this very fact proved to be deadly.
"Captain", shouted Faith as Butorega end seemed near. His opponent was already in mid swing before Butorega even began to move. The brigand fell to the ground barely dodging the edge of the blade. In the process of his dodge Butorega lost some hair, but he kept his head.
The brigand fell to the cold earth and rammed his body against the guard captain’s right leg. As he expected she fell to the earth landing on her back. As she struggled to move Butorega used his weight to pin her to the ground. She tried to swing her sword, but the brigand held her right hand down with his left.
"You Bastard", she shouted. Her eyes opened wide as she saw something she did not expect. In Butorega right hand he held an axe. Confusion soon swept her mind as the brigand pulled down the blade and slammed it into her face. The axe he was wielding was his own. During his fight with Valin Butorega had abandoned it in the street. His fight with the captain took place in the very same street. As Butorega fought the halberdier he noticed the axe lying on the ground and the rest was history.
Butorega slammed the axe into her face four times before he finally stopped. He then let out a bloody roar that soared over the crimson snow. The guards attempted to rally to avenge their fallen captain, but an unexpected attack from the third unite devastated the guards. Within seconds they were all dead, and the battle belonged to the Coalition.

Valin watched in Horror as the new enemy came rushing in finishing the guards off. "All was lost to begin with...I AM TRUElY!....cursed" Valin said flying high above the rooftops his last word barely a whisper. His only reprieve was that he help some people flee. Valin took note the bandits numbers and appearance looking for one man above all else. Balgoth the destroyer. When he spotted the man Valin had to fight himself not diving in one last time. The knight knew he had live. He had to go and get the Illian Army or some sort of equivalent. But One thing had to come first. "BALGOTH!" Valin screamed as he hovered four stories overhead. "Know this as long as both live we are enemies! For now on I am Valin knight Illia and I will be your end you Bernion filth!" Valin then sped of deeper into Illia.
When Valin escaped the towns boarders he landed so he could apply some Vulnerary to his wounds. He had to be quick if he was going to escape the bandits but he could make the trip otherwise. As Valin dismounted he saw a young girl leaning on a tree. "Hey little one. You need to come here. Ill protect you." The girl didn't move valin thought it was fear. "It going to be okay Im not a bandit Im a knight..a hero." Valin couldn't help but feel a small bit of joy when he called himself a hero. But still the girl was frozen staring at him. Valin covered his right eye and walked forward. As Valin drew closer the moon shone though the trees brighter. Valin stopped dead in his tracks dropping his hand to his side. The girl was dead a sword wound in her side. Valin looked around him slowly counting the dead villagers laying in the snow around him. He had saved no one. He had fought and bleed for nothing. He was no Hero.
Valin mounted Albus without using any of his salve, the pain was gone and the bleeding was slowing. Valin flew though the night making no sound he just weeped. Valin Hated Balgoth but now he knew his pain. The pain that lead him to this raid of vengeance. The pain that slew the villagers of Stonewall. The Pain Valin would use to destroy the Destroyer.

As the wyvern knight screamed out Butorega turned. "Impossible", he spoke as saw the man sail through the air.
"You left someone alive", spoke Yawn as he walked up to Butorega. "And here you were calling me green. Now the bastard is going to notify the Ilia main force."
"I did not leave him alive", spoke Butorega.
"Yeah Lander and Maxwell were suppose to kill that bastard", spoke Bones defending his captain.
"Oh no", spoke Butorega as he began to rush through the streets. His greatest fear was realized as he found the corpses of the two men. Maxwell was stabbed and Lander. Well Lander was in a mess. Butorega slammed his fist into the ground from frustration. He had not just lost one soldier today, but two of his men. To add salt to the wound he also lost his friend Maxwell.
"Maxwell", spoke Yawn as he walked up to the corpse. He was not surprise at all that the man was dead. In fact it was almost as if he expected it. "Tsch, that is why weakling need to stay in support roles and not lead troops."
"Wallace", spoke Butorega as he rose from the ground. Anger, rage, and sadness filled his heart as he turned toward the arrogant man.
"Hay don't use my real name", spoke Yawn, but he soon picked up on the mood. Butorega was in no mood for his japes.
Butorega looked up and saw a couple of burning buildings. "Why is that house on fire", he asked already knowing the answer.
"Nobunaga", spoke Faith as she turned toward the man’s corpse.
"Throw our dead into the burning houses, and prepare to move out", spoke Butorega. "We have to move or else we will get caught by the Illian army."
"Hay", spoke Yawn as he walked up to Butorega. "I am in charge of this mission." As Yawn spoke the remaining brigands followed Butorega orders.
"Mission", spoke Butorega. "Look around Yawn. The mission is over. The only thing left is survival", spoke Balgoth as he walked away turning his back to the assassin. He began to help Tiffany toss Lander's body into the flames and prepared to move out. Thread End
