Valin was awoken by the sound of breaking wood. He rushed to his lance and untied Albues his trusted Wyvern. Valin scanned the area as he mounted, looking and listening for what ever danger may come. The sound of breaking wood came again but Valin recognized its source it was the camp fire now starting to die down. It was at that same moment that he realized how cold it was and dismounted to throw another log on the fire but there were no left. The Bernion Knight sighed and turned to his mount. " Don't think I could convince you to look for wood could I?" The black wyvern stared blankly at his master. The red haired giant shook his head. "Didn't think you would."
Valin walked over to his armor which was laying near fading fire. When he touched his breast plate he burned his hand slightly. As he recoiled back he heard Albues give a low hiss almost a laugh. "Oh be quit scale breath! I'd like to see you try...nevermind you'll just eat it." He the grabbed a near by stick and used it to drag his armor pieces away from the flame letting the frosty air cool it enough to be donned.
After Donning his armor and finding the balance on his lance Valin mounts his wyvern. "Come now lets find some employment or a cause worth dying for. But knowing my cursed eye all we'll find is bandit after they killed the innocent.......Let Fly!" Valin and Albues toke to the skies with a shared sadness in their hearts.
