Lisa was right he did swear an oath. But it didn't matter he had to keep going he had repent for his curse. Valin urged Albues further. "I'm sorry but I need to die for this!" Is all he said as pushed past the infantry. He wished Lisa health and that the two would never cross paths again. The giant knight stood in his way yet again so he lunged his mount onto her pinning her to the ground. The giantess stabbed Valin in his useless arm before he moved on. Turning back he saw the Illians swarming over her but she still managed to stand to no one else could pass. "Don't kill her!" He barked almost as an order. Valin hoped much to his surprise that she lived.
The pain off his injuries came in waves as he rode through the cavern. When it finally broke into a mountain range the wyvern took flight. "If I die don't eat me." Valin said checking the balance of the javelin again. The pair sped through the mountains in search of their prey. Valin caught sight of not Balgoth but bruiser of an Lieutenant. Valin moved around to find Balgoth. When the knight saw him there was only one shot before Valin had to break away. Just before he let the spear he caught sight of a tall green haired woman with many axes. "Shes.." This momentary distraction was enough to make the blow missed Balgoth but hit the one called "Yawn" in his right thigh. "...Stunning."
Valin flew off looking back with some regret.

Reinforcements! Their prayers were answered! At least that was the way it seemed. The reality was... much different. Valin decided to break their oath, and get his self killed in the end. It felt like it was her fault in the end, if she had just... no Lisa. You can't think like that. Whatever happened, it was his choice and his decision. Lisa did all she could outside of pinning him down, and she doubted that even if she did that it would help. After all... this was his fault. Damnit. Damn it!
Men rushed through and into the cave, but the soldiers didn't pursue. It was... confusing to say the least. They could have went on, they could have pushed the advantage they clearly had, but instead they stopped. They were letting them get away! What was going on! Lisa took Medusa into the sky to find the 'reinforcements', and found their commander speaking with Celice. It was the middle of war, why were they just speaking?! They spoke using hand gestures, so no word was misunderstood, and even though Lisa had arrived at such a time late into the conversation she knew what was happening.
Retreat?
Retreat? They were retreating? They were winning though! Though could crush those bandits! They didn't have a chance! Who told them to retreat!? As furiously confused Lisa was, Celice was almost disturbingly calm. Everyone stared up into the air as Celice gave the order to pull back. These reinforcement weren't reinforcements at all, they were a group sent to tell them to stand down. She couldn't understand, why would they do such a thing?
These bandits would live, today, but Lisa would never forget this. She listened to her superior officer, as a soldier must, but she wouldn't understand it. She couldn't understand it. They killed so many, not just soldiers but innocent civilians, and they were gonna get away with it with their lives. It simply wasn't fair, it wasn't justice. Elmine damn them, damn them all.

“Retreat”, the word sounded like music to Tiffany ears. She stood there in the opening guarding it with her life. Though the wyvern rider had gotten by her she still held most of the men at bay. Even so the maiden was exhausted and nearly dead. The Illians had put up one heck of a fight, though there retreat did confuse her for a moment. All the Ilians had to do was give another good push and they would have broken through. Why retreat now when they had the advantage. The only conclusion Tiffany could come up with was that their casualties. For a small group of bandits they seemed to have given up a good amount of soldiers more than what the brigands were worth. Some of these men had years of faithful service. Illia in itself was already stretched thin protecting Bern. She guessed they figured they did not need to loss more troops on such a minor threat.
“Count yourself lucky brigand”, spoke the last of the Illian soldiers as they vanished into the darkness. Tiffany held fast till she heard them leave the cave and then she collapse to the ground. She was not dead, but injured. Immediately the maiden began to medicate some of her wounds. The worst were the ones left from that Wyvern. The foul beast claws had cut deed and needed immediate attention. “I wonder were the captain is at”, spoke Tiffany.
“Damn it”, shouted Butorega as he turned around to air Yawn. “Keep moving”, shouted Butorega as he ordered the rest of his men to move along.
“Little Bastard”, spoke Yawn as Butorega pulled the javelin out of his leg. The assassin barely flinched from the pain and then took a shot of an elixir. “Next time I see him I am going to carve that crimson eye out of it’s socket.”
“Save it for latter”, spoke Butorega. “We have to keep moving. We don’t know if the Illian forces are still following us.”
“Right”, spoke Yawn as he began to move again. “When we get back to base I am demanding a raise.”
“A raise”, spoke Butorega. “You be lucky not to get your head chopped off. We left with fifteen and only returned with four. Not to mention we did not even get any major loot. The only upside to it is that Stonewall was no longer on the map.”
“Thanks for reminding me”, spoke Yawn as the brigands disappeared into the mountains. [end thread] OC: If the others still have a last post go ahead. Just add the ending when you are done.
