The sun was barely rising when Ingrid saw Bulgar, the biggest city on Sacae. She wasn't sure where to go or what to do.-should i go back?...- she kept wondering as she made her way through the empty streets.-No... not after the way i left, he will never forgive me.- She regretted leaving, but she was too proud to return just like that. She had to make her point, she needed to prove herself a strong warrior. But where? The first answer she had was her stomach grumbling. she wasn't the king of gal who would skip breakfast after all so she headed to the inn, breakfast and perhaps an opportunity would be waiting there fore her.

Oleg had sat down, taking a long sip from his wine as he looked around the tavern. It was a quiet morning, and he needed his morning drink before heading back home to turn in the jobs he had gotten. There were many small time bandits hiding in the plains, hoping they could survive without encountering the tribes and any mercs. Payment was good for small time hustlers, and Oleg needed all he could get. He looked to the door, noticing a young girl come in. He shrugged a bit, simply returning to sipping and sampling his wine.

Ingrid looked around the tavern, the smoke made it hard to see along with the many shadow that kept the faces hidden. She had never traveled alone and much less been on a tavern by her self. Most of the tables where full except for a couple.- An old guy with a odd stare, or the mercenary sitting there?- she asked herself but she already knew the answer before even making the question in her head. She approached his table and looked into his eyes, her pulse raised and she completely forgot what she was going to say.- May i sit?- She managed to articulate the very simple right before the silence turned awkward.

Oleg looked to the young girl, simply nodding, indicating she was free to sit down. Oleg sipped some more of his wine, the cup slowly emptying as he then refilled it. He then turned his eyes to his contracts. Most of them were filled, expect for this one about a barkeeper who had bought a few too many mahogany tables that he never paid. He would get to it after he finished his drink. He turned his face to the cup, chugging the current cupful down in one sip.

Oleg looked to the girl, nodding slowly. "Yep. Not taking any jobs at the moment though, I got too many to begin with... Expect if the payment is BIG." Oleg nodded, finishing his second cup as he decided to not drink his third one yet, focusing on writing something onto one of his contracts.

The waitress returned with a loaf of bread and a cold soup. It didn't looked too bad, She grabbed the bread and sipped into the "soup" which taste revealed it was more like boiled water with a carrot floating there.-Could had been worse...- she thought to herself.
She shook her head when the mercenary mentioned that he wasn't taking any jobs.- No, i have no money for that anyway, I...- She stopped for a moment, she really wasn't sure what was she looking for. She needed to prove a sword was more than a defensive tool. But can a mercenary help her? She hesitated a bit more before resuming.-Please do accept me as your apprentice.- She asked while bowing her head down, the movement was so sudden that her nose dipped on the soup, making her sneeze spraying the soup in every and in a clumsy attempt to get the soup of her face she threw the bowl off the table, emptying it's content on the floor.-Well... at least the plate is made of wood and didn't broke.- Ingrid sighed at her now wasted meal that she still had no money to pay for.

Oleg blinked at the sudden mention of becoming an student of his. He tapped his chin for a moment, thinking for a long time before he spoke. "I can provide you with the following. Hands on experience in mercenary work, along with a lot of killing and just generally angering people due to collecting debts. I can also provide you a room, but you have to share that with my daughter. Sword training you should learn while at the job. That's what I got. Are you still interested?"

"Enjoying the moment, finish our food and drinks, get our horses and head back to my hometown to return my current contracts." Oleg nodded, taking his third cup of wine and downing it as he let out a content sigh.

"Mhm... I will, I will. I'm not heartless." Oleg nodded, placing down some golden coins onto the table, murmurring to himself as he sighed. "That's a loaf of bread off from my food, but I'll manage... You can ride on the back of my horse. We will manage."

"Oleg." Oleg nodded, filling his fouth cup and sipping it down, deciding to stop after that one. "Why do you want to be my apprentice? And do you have someone allowing this? Parents, cousins?" Oleg peered to the young one, his eyes searching her features. Definitely a local.

Ingrid looked down, embarrassed she really didn't wanted to say she ran away from her tribe just because she had a fight with her father, what if he turned her down for that? or even drag her back. He was a father after all and he wouldn't approve that kind of acting near his daughter. Then again, people of Sacae do not lie.- Well... no one really, i ran away so nobody is "allowing" me...
