It was against all his logic, but Oya needed to return to the Iles. First off he needed to introduce Willow to his mother. This was the woman he thought he might spend his life with, but he needed his mother's approval first. The second and most important thing was that he forgot to write. His mother told him to write her once he got to the main land. Oya was so focused on exploration and the collection of data that he forgot to write. His mother was going to kill him for not doing so. If he wrote her now he would only tick her off he even more. The only way to avoid a worse scolding is to go visit her now. Oya had bought three tickets to the island of Saint Ies. The first two was for Willow and Himself , and the last was for her horse. He knew she valued her steed and did not bother to ask her to leave it behind.
Oya was not completely sure where his mother was in truth. She was a pirate after all and would be sailing all over the Iles. He knew however they set their main base at Saint Ies and that would be the place to find them.
"Hey Willow ", spoke Oya as he stood outside the couples door. "Are you hungry for anything they are serving Fish in the dinning hall."

"Sure, Oya!" Willow chirped, jumping up from a chair inside their modest cabin. "What kind of fish? I've never really had much fish... Is it good?"
Willow was excited to be traveling... She'd never seen the Isles, nor Oya's mother, and it would be an interesting trip. She'd learn and grow for sure. And maybe, she and Oya would grow closer together. Willow smiled brightly at Oya, grabbing his hand as she exited the cabin.
"C'mon, let's eat!"

"They have some yellow tail", spoke the pirate as Willow exited the room. Willow grabbed Oya hand and he began to blush. Sure him and Willow were together, but walking hand to hand in public was a bit embarrassing. Oya had his hair tied up in his head band, but many of the passengers still saw him as a girl. A few people were giving the couple a weird look. Some of the passengers thought they were siblings.
"Looks like we are getting a couple of weird looks", spoke Oya as he looked at the crowd. The pirate did not let it bother him much, but he worried it might affect Willow. Still he wanted to show her a good time. It was her first trip into the Western Iles and he wanted it to be a good one. "Two plates of Blackened Yellowtail Snapper with Mango Salsa", spoke Oya too the chef.

"Hahaha," Willow laughed merrily, jokingly punching Oya's shoulder. "With any luck, they think I'm your sister, don't they? Well, it'll be fine. So when will we meet your mother?
Willow was inwardly calculating, looking at the other passengers. As far as she could tell... Nobody was hostile, and nobody knew she could fight. Good, then she had the element of surprise. She wasn't worried with Oya there to defend her, but still. He'd said the Isles could be dangerous.
"Oya, how long of a voyage will this be?" she wondered, looking out at the clear blue sky and vast expanse of sea meditatively.

"I say we will arrive in half a day or so", spoke Oya as he cut a piece out of his fish. He placed a piece of the yellow tail in his mouth and savored the flavor. It had been so long since he had properly prepared fish. Fish was not a staple food in center Bern, nor was it the choice dish in Lycia. Oya savored the simple pleasure of being back in the Western Iles. "As for my mother", spoke the pirate, but before he could finish the sentence the ship was suddenly hit. Everything shook and Oya's plate flew overboard the ship.
"My fish", shouted Oya almost crying over the loss. Then the sound of yelling and screaming brought him back to reality. The ship was under attack. They had just been hit by a vessel. "Pirates", spoke Oya as he drew his axes. He moved then to aid Willow if she needed it.

"Whoa!" Willow exclaimed as the ship jolted. Hearing Oya's word, Willow jumped up, readying her magic. She checked to make sure her stave and tome were still secure, and then moved in diagonally behind Oya, charging up a shot.
"All right, Oya... Let's show them our stuff. I'm not used to sea-fighting, so give me some pointers. Other than that, I guess we just blast 'em, right?" she said, her voice steady and adrenaline-laced.

Oya rushed forward to see what was going on. He did not want to rush into the fight just yet. He wanted to get a good look at his opponents. The pirate were armed with a variety of weapons some had spears and others had swords. There were a few traditional axe users running around. From the movement of the raiders Oya knew they did not have many people. They were trying to install fear into the mass of people and only really killing those who fought back and those that looked like they would resist.
"Willow fighting on sea and fighting on land is a bit different", spoke Oya. "The ship will rock and move so aim all your attacks at their center mass. Even if you move a bit you will still get on mark", spoke Oya. The pirate moved forward and engaged a pirate who uses a spear. The man looked a bit familiar to Oya, but the heat of battle washed the though out of his mind.
The man stabbed forward with his spear and Oya hooked it with his left and rushed forward and stuck with his right. The axe blade cut into the man's chest, but his armor kept him alive. The soldier pushed Oya back with his shield and struck forward with his lance. Oya took a slash on his left side, but managed to rush in and stab the man in the face with his axe.
"Crap", spoke Oya as he put his hand on the gash. He did not expect to get hit so early. There were still more enemies to take out and he did not have the luxury of being wounded.

"Hold on, Oya!" Willow said. As she cautiously moved forward, she saw a sword-slinging bandit moving closer, and smiled as she unleashed a powerful blast of light magic. Her cover as a cleric was shattered, but the man flailed his arms as he fell overboard. Moving Oya's arm from over his wound, she carefully focused on the wound, drawing her staff. Concentrating, she released her power and a gentle blue glow suffused the area. The light gained intensity and then receded, leaving the shallow slash wound completely healed.
"Up and at 'em, dear," she encouraged. "I've got your back!"
Willow then hooked the staff back on her belt and charged up another shot, ready for action.

"Thanks Love", spoke Oya as he rose too his feet. As he looked around he saw a very familiar man boarding the ship. His hair was a bright orange and in his hand was a battle Axe. His eyes were Sharp like a Lion and he had a grin of a wolf. The moment he borded the ship he knocked a guard over board. He slashed the man's leg and kicked him into the sea.
"Farkus", spoke Oya. He then looked down at the man that Willow and him had slain. "I know him", spoke Oya by mistake. He then looked up to see the flag that the other ship was sailing. It was a symbol of a wolf with two axes crossing it. There was no longer any room for doubt. The ship was under attack by his mother's crew. It was no wonder Oya could so easily read their tactics. He was there when they came up with the plan.
"Willow", spoke Oya as he toward her. "I have a feeling we are going to meet my mother sooner than expected", spoke Oya. This was so out of plan. He wanted Willow to meet his mother when they were on the island. At least then he could portray them as normal sailors, or at least as booms. Now he was going to have to explain he was from a pirate family.
"Well well what do we have here", spoke Farkus as he walked up to the duo.

"Stay back! STAY BACK, I SAY! IN THE NAME OF ELIMINE, I WILL BLAST YOU FROM THIS EARTH!"
Willow's protective instincts had kicked in. Assuming the man would attack Oya and save her for a 'trophy' or 'prize,' Willow stepped in front of Oya and held out her hands, which crackled and glowed with a pure and radiant light. A steady scowl on her face, Willow stood the man down, ready to unleash the full fury of Heaven upon him at a moment's notice.

"Farkus", spoke Oya as he stared from behind Willow. His eyes were serious and showed no sign of niceness, nor any of the soft emotions he had allowed Willow to seeing earlier. There he was for the first time in a while the cold and cunning Oya that was hidden behind his wall of emotions.
Farkus for a moment simply stated at Oya. One part was disbelief in seeing him and the other at the stare. More words were said in that little moment the two meet eyes than in an hour of conversation. Farkus broke the dead lock when he open his mouth to speak. "Did not expect to see you here, brother", spoke the pirate. He kept his eyes on Willow to see her reaction.
Oya ignoring Willow reaction for the moment began to speak himself. "I don't remember mother permitting attacks on transport vessel", spoke Oya.
"Yes that was an old rule", spoke another voice from behind Oya. The pirates seemed to have finished their work and were gathering around Willow and Oya. There was another young man with bright orange hair. He heavily resembled the first, but had a bit of Oya's looks in him.
"Troy", spoke Oya. He gave him the same evil stare, but Troy brushed it off.
"Come on is that anyway to speak to your brother who you have not seen in quite a while", spoke Hector.

"What?! What is going on here?!"
As more and more people began to press in, Willow raised her hand high and aimed it straight at the man named Farkus.
"Move your pirate crew back a meter. NOW. Or you'll end up with a blast to the face.
Oya, what in Elimine's name is the meaning of this? How do you know these... Rabble?" Willow asked incredulously, keeping her magic steady.
"Why did that one call you brother? What's going on here?!"

Oya took a deep breath. "Willow lower your magic these men will not harm you", spoke Oya.
"You need to control that woman", spoke Farkus. He was about to say more, but a death glare from Oya silenced him cold.
"Willow I wanted to wait to tell you this, but this man name Farkus and the one behind us named Troy are my brothers", spoke Oya.
"Oh my", spoke Troy as he looked at Willow. "It seems that our little brother has found himself a woman", spoke the pirate. "However she does seem a bit older", spoke Troy.
"Watch it Troy", spoke oya. "I will not hesitate to cut that tongue of yours out."
"Somebody is defensive", spoke Troy.
"Would you not be if your brother's just raided the ship you were traveling on."
"Fair enough points", spoke Troy.
"Where is mother", spoke Oya as he looked at the Farkus.
"Saint Ies", spoke Farkus as he looked at Oya. "She is not going to be happy to see you, nor your woman", spoke the pirate as he walked back over to the rest of his men. "Alright boy's take everything that is not nailed to the ground", he shouted leaving Willow, Troy, and Oya alone.

"You! Pirates! Don't you dare harm my horse, or I will END your lives!" Willow barked threateningly. Turning to Oya, Willow looked at the pirate in complete disbelief.
"Oya...? You're... A pirate? But... I thought you told me you were a HERBALIST? Elimine, Oya, I thought I knew you! I loved you, I opened up to you... I thought you were someone who cared about me! But... I don't know what to believe anymore. I don't know IF I can believe anything anymore!"
Willow turned her face away, trying to hide her shock and struggling not to burst into tears.

"Willow I am a herbalist", spoke Oya.
"Yeah a pirate Herbalist", spoke Troy. Oya turned and gave his brother a death glare. The look sent a chill down the pirates spine.
"Look Willow", spoke Oya as Farkus returned with Willow's horse.
"You are a lucky lass", spoke Farkus. "This steed would sell for a pretty penny in the market." The pirate lead the horse onto their boat. His men followed behind with crates of cargo and spices.
"Oya you and your friend best be coming with us", spoke Troy. "If you stay on this ship the people are going to rip you to shreds since they know you are related to us. I can't be telling mother we left our little brother to die out at sea can I", spoke Troy as he walked across the planks.
"Listen Willow", spoke Oya as he turned his attention back to the maiden. "I know I did not tell you about my family being pirates, but you can't stay here. These people will kill you for sure once we leave."
