The pupil was a little surprised on how much gear he actually carried as he handed the equipment to Vivian who was more than happy to help out. Realizing he left out any kind of note of Vivian's contribution, he laughed nervously twirling his finger in his mohawk. "W-well, yeah. I agree. Thanks Vivian." he said with a shy expression. Why did he have to feel so weak all of a sudden?
Snapping out of the moment, he looked down towards the barely alive Roin. "Every moment is one slipping away for him. Let's get going." he mentioned with a worried voice. He grabbed him from under his arms and placed him on top of the make-shift stretcher that actually held up quite well. Synkkis motioned towards his brother that he was ready to lift him. Thankfully the first time it worked and they started moving out into the snowy wasteland. "Yeah, you wish I'd be tripping about. I'm Ilian too in case you forgot. I've got my end." he retorted with confidence. The two quickly made their way to the village, doing their best to move towards the village lightly wounded themselves.
Approaching the village itself, they immediately were greeted by an elderly couple who ushered the trio inside and they placed Roin on their modest bed. The husband looked over Roin's wounds with haste while the wife prepared a bowl of water with a small washcloth. By this point Synkkis had fallen to the floor out of breath wringing the pain out of his hands. The elderly woman looked to Vivian and asked with concern in her eyes, "What happened? Bandits?". One look could easily tell she was worried about her home and very much so the village being unsafe with bandits nearby.

Well, it seemed like the more they keep walking, the more...heavier Roin's gear was. Thankfully, they were at the village the brothers mentioned and they even got immediate assistance! That was a relief, and it seemed like Roin would be in good hands as well. The brothers had their fair share of injures as well...guess she was the only lucky one to come out physically unscathed, though her little pride was wounded, remembering how much she cowered from the gorgon. Well, she STILL hated snakes and that thing was NO exception whatsoever. And just as Alaric said, no one would believe her if she even hinted at what they all saw down there. Maybe the undead part of their little "adventure" since that Lycia's sorta infected with those right now, but a half snake, half woman creature? Heck no.
Seeing the bros trying to relax themselves and she was sitting in a chair, the purple haired mage felt like she was all out of energy. Not even enough to make a silly comment or...anything. She hadn't ever felt this tired before in her life. Her freaking out earlier must have sapped away more strength than she thought. Though she was approached by the woman asking what happened. She was wondering why she was asked out of everyone, but seeing as Vivi was about the only one who could hold a conversation without passing out, that made a lot more sense than making Syn or Al talk. But the tone of her voice and the expression on the elderly's face, even Vivi wasn't dumb enough to not know why she asked. "Ohh...um, no, we were actually far from here, but made our way here while seeking out help."
Okay, the hard part. She couldn't tell the old woman, "WE FOUGHT ZAMBIES AND SNAKES AND...AND..." No. Won't work. "We were attacked by ruffians on the road, though. But rest assured, no one followed us and there isn't a threat to your home." She concluded with a light smile. While most of that was a pure lie, she at least wasn't lying about the safety of the village.

Alaric was pretty wiped too from carrying Roin all the way here, but he knew his brother was still feeling like crap from that hit he took earlier. Well, he wasn't doing too well himself bruised up from that hit he took from the snake lady, but he felt a bit better than Syn. He also confronted the worried old woman and assured her by supporting Vivian's story. "Y-yeah. Nothing we couldn't handle, but the Sacaen traveling with us had it rough. We don't know him really all too well, but he did save me. I'll pay you anything or whatever if you could help me repay that debt." he said, halfway earnest and halfway not wanting to get tied down next to the guy until his eyes popped back open.
He could only hope the old couple would accept his offer.

Synkkis was pretty beat as he rested on the floor. He had no issue with Vivian and Alaric dealing with the inquisitive woman, but he did notice the fervent work that the old man did on Roin. Was this man a doctor by profession? He was surprised as they did not call out to the rest of the village almost right away. The pupil was motionless save for snatching the canteen out of his rucksack. The smooth, cool water passing through his lips was invigorating - even if his body was bruised and exhausted.
"No, you mustn't. You all may have saved one of us who could've been attacked on the road. This is the least we can do for getting rid of such pests." the old woman responded, holding Alaric's hand and smiling. She then looked to Vivian and looked at her a bit more closely. "Are you OK? It seems these boys got it rough." she asked, placing her hands on Vivian's arms.

Ah, nuts. Vivian was starting to feel really bad for lying now. She had no idea if any cutthroats were out on the road, but at the very least...they didn't run into any on their way back, so the made-up threat simply doesn't exist. Hopefully it stays that way. But she knew if she told these people the truth, not only would they not believe them, but then they might even distrust the group. The mage was at least glad Alaric was able to back her up, knowing she wouldn't be able to handle telling a little story like that on her own. Thankfully, she didn't have to do too much lying anymore today. Uggggh...thinking about that snake lady was enough to give her a nightmare. She just saw that coming from a mile away whenever she gets some rest tonight. Hopefully the nightmares won't be too bad.
"Oh, I'm fine! Thank you, ma'am. I appreciate your hospitality!" She returned a bright smile to the elder woman. This sure was going to be one long night, and Vivian just hoped she didn't lose any sleep. She didn't even know where she was going to travel to next. She does know that her number one priority was to get the heck out of Ilia ASAP...and she could go back to Lycia for a while. There shouldn't be any snakes there, right?! Well...huge, talking ones that is. She remembered that she did run into Roin because she was lost. She probably needed someone one to show her around and guide her out of the country, too. Vivi just didn't want to risk running into anymore horror fests.
But all of that was worries for another day. They were within the sanctuary of a village and she was more worried about the rest of the guys. They were the ones injured while she barely suffered any kind of grueling damage to her body. She was dandy physically, but in a terrible mood. One she wasn't going to allow to be shown. She was almost close to useless in helping everyone out. If she were stronger, she probably could have prevented what happened to Roin. At least he'll live, but either she could have damaged the gorgon or taken the hit instead, even though she wasn't durable and may have gotten herself killed.
Guess it was time to just relax while she could.
