The old man was correct in his statement. Ever since she got to Lycia everyone had been so rude. It was as if the Etrurians blew up one of their cities or something. The gall people had to be so rude to people they didn't know. Perhaps it was different back during the old man's day. Simpler times? She's heard that a bunch from her parents.
Freya was just about to retort about the man's comments by making a small joke about his age, but just then a small snow-haired boy popped out of nowhere with a fish. A huge fish! The Etrurian didn't even know they made fish that big as she sort of gaped in disbelief. That fish must have been king of the lake or something... That sort of fish was more likely to catch Freya than the other way around. The idea of being made the wife of a big giant fish made her frown. She didn't like that fish anymore. Well, it didn't seem to be moving. Freya took her small wins when they came.
Actually, how in Elibe did that little boy catch such a fish!? It wasn't until that the two made comments on it that she realized just how shocking it was. How come she never got that lucky!? Not that she'd ever gone fishing herself. She'd just always watch other people fish.
The little boy offered to catch more fish for the trio, but no one really didn't say no. She didn't want the boy to go running off again. He could get lost! "Ah, no! This fish king is more than enough!" she laughed, leaning forward on her saddle to be a little closer to the boy. "Actually it may be too much. You're quite strong - you should be able to eat it all yourself!" she teased him, chuckling.
