Story:
Pregame: Merric grew up learning the magical arts but found an interest in exotic weaponry as well. When his home was harassed by bandits his hero became a man name Lucius who fought them off. When Merric's teacher deemed him worthy of being a true mage rather than a pupil he went out into the world on a quest to master and create new spells at 18. Thus far he has been unsuccessful but he found there to be a great deal of versatility from even the most basic spells if one is only clever enough. While not a mercenary he will take random jobs in order to pay for his pursuit of knowledge. He has yet to make a name for himself but he has taken interest in a man named Marric due to their similar names.
