His question hit the young mage quite hard. Did her want to continue doing those things for the most of her life? Actually, it wasn't about wanting or not. It was her...duty. Alright, now she had hit a wall. Riviera pondered his question, closing her eyes while preparing a response, but it seemed the hunter's question was quite deep more than the person asking question intended to. Riviera mumbled faint words as if discussing with herself and then opened her eyes and said, "No...but I will probably have to do that. It's not like I will be doing it all times, though. I am sure I find time for...exploring my interest and having fun? That might not be the best way to explain it but I believe you understand what I mean..."
Riviera let Kyle do the cleaning and relaxed herself. Now that she had refilled her energy with the meal and a little rest, she just needed a little more time to be ready for her trip. Her horse probably have gained its strength back now. When Kyle was in the house, Riviera looked around the clearing as she wondered how the hunter and his father could live such simple life and do hard labors just with two people. If it was her, she would have been stressed by the lack of servants and luxuries of this place. Still, this place had its own charm. Living with the nature might not be so bad....fresh air, the harmony, and the calmness of this place somehow made her girl fall in love.
It seemed Kyle was pretty quick with his work. It had been only a a few minutes since she had entered his house to clean the utensils. He would make a good servant...of course Riviera wouldn't say it out loud lest she risked hurting his feeling or being hit by his father's axe. "Hmm..." The girl showed neutral response to her reply. So he had fought monsters and escorted caravans? Did all mercenaries do that? It sounded like the profession was quite rough.
After waiting and resting for a few minutes, Riviera judged that it was the time to end her break. This place was nice but she couldn't stay too long. "I guess I am going to take my leave now. Thank you for you and your father's hospitality. I really appreciate it. May St Elimine bless you both," she said, bowing politely to Kyle. The idea to pay them with money crossed her mind but then after some hesitation she refrained from doing so. Riviera went to the house to say her farewell to Kyle's father, thanking the old man too despite being intimidated by his eccentric behavior.
The noble girl rode her horse to leave the clearing, looking back once before finally disappearing into the forest.
