She never cried anymore, not since that day so long ago... was it because their was nothing that could sadden her further? Or were her all her tears shed that day?
Pure so often asks after where their parents are... if their ok.... Needless to say they were in a very long trip.... sometimes she suspected Pure knew a lot more than she let on.... perhaps she knew the truth about their parents... she wouldn't be two only one who didn't want to believe it.... but they were orphans... Mira herself was a theif.
Not that she cared what others thought of her, this was all she had-the only way she could support her sister, she had no regrets about taking what she had to. Mira was not concerned about the affairs of other families, because she didn't care about them... all that mattered as Pure's well being-nothing else mattered.
Over her back she carried a modertly sized bag of food, a few things mixed in for Pure to play with, she tracked the plains back to their little hideaway.
Nothing else mattered....
Not even Mira herself.
When She Wasn't Totally Pissed She Was Extremely Annoyed"

Following his scheme and planning Borgus was wondering around Lycia. He had soaked up a good amount of land in his evil deeds, but for him it was not enough. Borgus would not stop till all of the old lands of Ostia were legally his. However the acolyte had run out of excess coin. He had spent it all up buying deeds and paying for legal documents. Now he needed to return home to rake in his share of the profits and save up another bird's nest before he returned to Lycia. Of course there was always other ways to gain gold and treasure. He could always rob a few travelers and pawn their belongings for gold, but doing that usually attracted heat. Heat equaled wanted poster and wanted posters equal property sized by Lycian government. There was no way Borgus was going to let his hard work, and coin go to wast that way. He was just going to have to deal with having low funds, which was not really low to be truthful, but it was low to what he was now accustom to.
As the Acolyte walked on the old rode he noticed a young girl walking. She seemed poor to him. Poor than he was for sure. Back in his old highway man days he would let those kind of people keep walking. They had nothing he wanted and if they did have anything of value they deserved to keep it for dressing like that. Still Borgus was bored and had nothing else left to do, but walk till his legs got tired and sleep. So instead of simply continuing his way to Bern the acolyte decided to see what this chick was all about.
"Hey you", spoke Borgus as he walked up toward the maiden. The acolyte had his swagger in full swing as he calmly looked the maiden over. "You seem like you have fallen on some hard times. Are you by any chance looking for a job", spoke Borgus.
