This was Caelin, it sure looked tiny. A little spot in the middle of a big green spot, that's what the map she had told her. She didn't realize how little it meant when it said little though, because she coulda sworn that this place isn't anything bigger then a little town. Nothing like her home, which was one of those big cities with tons of people and stuff everywhere. She kept reading about Lycian cities, and how they were like little countries but what kind of country has this little people? She was let in easy enough, and she went to the tavern because that's what she was always told to go to find work, but it was empty except for her and two other people. The bartender kept giving her looks too, she ordered some water with the precious little coin she had but that was an hour ago, she thinks the man just wanted her to leave. He didn't say it though, but she got that feeling. Instead she looked over that map she had.
She swiped this map from a library a while ago, she'd pay them back when she made it rich, but she wanted to find one a those Lycian cities she's heard so much about. She even made a little note of it, in the back of her tome, it said "Pay back library" as one of the several things she had scribbled in the back. She was no thief, she was just borrowing it until she had the means to pay it back. That's why she wanted to go to one of them cities, find herself some work. Lycia had a lot of work, they must because of all them nasty rumors of undead everywhere she keeps hearing about. Surely she could kill some of those to get some money right? Right now she just really needed money, it was hard to get anywhere if no one would even give her a chance. With some money she could buy some stronger magic spells and get stronger and then people would want to hire her for things and then she'd get more money. It made sense to her.
Her robe was ratty and tattered, it tore over on the boat ride over to Badon. She had stowed away, and ended up ripping her clothes while trying to hide in the storeroom. She didn't know how to sow it either, her ma always did that. Auria sighed, her mom, she wondered how she was? Auria just sorta left without a word. She'll pay her back though, that was also on her list. She shouldn't have to live like the way they did, Auria would make sure of that.
"You... waiting for someone?" The bartender asked. She hadn't been paying attention. She looked up from her map at the man and had a calm smile.
"Yes, Something like that. I'm sorry if I'm bothering you." She said, looking him in the eyes. He looked a bit weirded out, but he didn't say anything.
"Huh, n-no you're fine." He said and then looked away and started to ignore her on purpose.

"Well this is a good place to start", shouted Bee as she walked into the streets of Calein! The maiden had all eyes on her as her loud tone and weir haircut made her stand out like a pink flower in the middle of a black wasteland. Bee had come to Lycia, after being self banished from Bern for causing a forest fire. Notice the self part in her banishment as nobody knew she was the one who caused it. She left that blame on the mountain bandits the fire snuffed out. However to be truthful it was not really Bee's fault. It was mostly the rain fault. If it had fallen like it was suppose too then the fire would not have spread so fast and so quickly. So in truth the heavens wanted that forest burned down. Bee was just their instrument in their divine will.
With a mind filled with guilt and a need for escape Bee wondered around town looking for something interesting. She really did not care what or who, but she wanted something to happen. It was then that the pyromaniac saw the local tavern and the first thing that came to her mind was, flames. Taverns were known to have fires to keep the place lit and warm. Not only could she get something to eat and drink, but she could also stare into a beautiful fire. There was nothing like fire to take your mind off things, even if the thing you are trying to forget happen to do with fire and how you were too busy watching fire.
Boldly and rudely I might add, Bee kicked open the door to the tavern. "Behold", she shouted as she grabbed everyone attention! "The great and powerful Bee has now graced you all with her presence! Now Bartender give me a glass of your finest squeezed apples and a side of roast duck!" Bee immediately slammed a few coins onto the counter top. The coins were covered in soot from the forest fire she had started back in Bern. On her way out she made sure to rob the cindered bandits of any coin that survived the flames. It was quite profitable actually. Bee had a good amount of spending money and she was going to use it for her own selfish pleasure, despite the fact that it most likely came from poor villagers. Who by the way forest she probably burned mostly to the ground. Once again it was the heavens decision not hers. If the bandits had not been so evil, then the heavens would not sent the plague that was Bee upon them.

Liv was happy, she had money. Her sister had given her a little extra allowance for all the good work she had been doing (one of the most important was not burning down all their supplies). She had only managed to scorch a few things in her practice session. She was doing good in behaving herself. Caelin was a nice place, it was temperate enough to allow her to experience the freedom of clothes. She had an actual shirt on and shorts. She didn't even need to wear boots and could see her toes poking out the sandals. They looked like little piggies the first time she saw them.
She ran along the town, enjoying her free time while her sister work. Was it her job to make dinner tonight? She really couldn't remember, but she knew her day was coming soon. Her fireproofing cloak following her as she ran and went about waving at all the townspeople. The people here were nice as well, all in all, not a bad place to settle down. She didn't want to tell her sister that, it was too much fun seeing the world. Hopefully the traveling wasn't too much pressure for Levity.
The first area she went to was the tavern. Rushing inside, she saw a free seat to a dark blue haired woman. Thinking that she looked rather pretty, it seemed like a good place to get her treat. She slammed her rather large tome quite heavily on the seat and practically jumped onto it. The books weren't just useful for making fire, but they could also work as a seat rest. She treated it as extra leverage though, deciding to stand on top and repeatedly jump on top of it. Good thing she had a heavy duty copy.
"Milk milk milk! I want milk!" she called excitedly as she jumped. To quite a many people's wonder she was managing to avoid falling and cracking her skull open. The bartender patted her on her head and then progressed to put a little pressure on it. Like a well trained dog, she stopped jumping and was guided to sit on her tome. At least he was quick to give her a cup of milk and that was what mattered in the world.

[.. nd.. ..fir .. .. mas...] fractured words dance within the labyrinth of his mind like a mantra. The promise of a paradise both near and far; -- this was not the place for that. But it's somewhere, just a bit further... ... ... 'I don't need to be here. Why has the silverwind led me hither? ... Maybe for food?' he thought to himself, how long has it been? Days, weeks, months, years?! ... Probably a few weeks since he left Ilia ...
While pacing through Caelin, he spotted a small flier with a '50% discount' on liver and onions for a local tavern. Given the amount of coin in his trusty satchel, he had to salvage as much as he could if he would ever finish his intial voyage. Following the directions on the flier, with eyes bolting left and right to keep track. The door was already open? 'The flies could get in!' Nyroshea thought, quietly motioning towards the tavern and closing the door behind him. The lighting wasn't that bad inside anyway, the windows were open -- which sort of defeated the purpose of preventing flies from getting in but whatever... Oh well.
There weren't many people here -- but the people that were here, excluding the clerk, they were ... children? In a Tavern? Sighing as if he found some solice in the fact that others in his age group were present, the once wary lad felt a weight of worry lift from his chest. It wasn't particularly his type of scene though, but if he didn't get something to eat he knew he'd collapse. He could feel his stomach about to wring itself dry into a fine powder if he didn't do something.
He didn't even think about the people with that last stomach growl, clenching one hand over his petite stomach and the other around the rolled up flier the lad quickly scurries to the counter, whisking past the clients there and slamming the flier onto the table with a fiercely determined expression. "L-liver..... please... hold the onions..." he mutters out, the clerk raises a brow at the strange, probably anxious individual. S-sure. Coming right up... Are you going to grab a seat? Nyroshea stands there, before sliding back into the chair with a tiny 'plop'. Face beat red with embarrassment for his unnerving behavior... He was hungry. It was natural to be desperate, right? Well, maybe nobody else had to know that-- "Y..yeah... a...and a small... ....cup of... water.. please.."
Biting his lip he waited for his order to finish... just looking at the others in the room... The other children, there was something off about them. A sort of presence that was foreign and familiar all the same. That nostalgic scent of magic--ah--no that couldn't be right. Magic didn't have a smell. That was probably just hunger. Brushing a gloved hand over the glass, he could see them just in the corner of his eye. ... They were so -- different -- should he say something to them? No, what would they even talk about? Oh lord, one of them would make fun if he left off on that desperate note though--he could make fun of himself first and stifle the blow right? Sure! "I'm so hungry, I could probably eat a whole planet!" he exclaimed cheerfully -- that was fine. Oh no -- did he annoy them? ... Horrible, horrible!
He slumps his chin onto the booth, just behind his glass, staring behind the water as his stomach continued it's devilish churns... Just a little longer.

Well this isn't what she thought would happen. What was a quiet tavern with no one in it became a bustling den of teenagers very fast. The bartender looked beside himself, all worried and stuff when all the people came bursting in. One of them literally burst in, claiming to the world she was Bee and that we should be happy she was there. Silly looking pink hair that stood straight up, and all smokey and covered in black looking dust. She wasn't sure what that was actually, it looked like what was left after the fire burned out and died, leaving only ashes behind. Was that it? Ashes? Whatever it was, she had money and Auria did not. Maybe she could talk to her and see if she could get some?
Shortly after another person entered, energetic and happy she sat right down next to the quiet pupil. Slamming some kind of book on the chair, demanding milk. Auria thought she managed to catch a glimpse of the book, it looked like a spell book. Not like hers, but redder, maybe it was fire magic? Fire was red, it seemed likely. She knew that outside of dark and light there was a third magic, but she's never really seen it much. Auria looked at the girl, feeling a bit silly. She looked younger then Auria, but was probably far more talented and skilled. Auria started late in life, only just finally managing to work out the basics of dark magic. She connected to something called nether? She didn't really understand what that was, or what it meant, and really she's only managed to be able to do it a few times now. The spell she cast was like a big... purpley ball, it exploded in her face the last time she tried it. She sighed, and she was proud of casting this when people far younger then her could do more?
No, that just meant she needed to try harder. Practice more. Maybe get some help. Red magic was still magic, right? So maybe this girl can help her?
Another girl entered, this one looking for a meal of liver and onions. Oh the special going on, she saw it on the way in as well, but she didn't have enough money to get it. She's mostly been eating food she's planning to pay back that she borrowed from that pirate ship. Mostly dried meet and stuff like that, it tasted great, but she's never really ate anything like that before. She was used to stale bread and foods that other people were too proud to eat, close to expiring but still perfectly eatable. It took a bit more cooking to make sure they didn't make them sick, but she had a tough stomach. You needed a tough stomach to survive on the streets of Fibernia.
She said something about being hungry enough to eat the world, Auria groaned inside, but remained calm and normal. "Excuse me, are you by chance a mage?" She asked the young girl with the light blue hair. She reached inside her cloak and retrieved a worn and torn flux tome, with dog-eared pages and bit of paper sticking out of it. She held it out for the young girl to see as she smiled as well. "I am an..." As shoot what was that word she was looking for? It began with an 'a' as... something. She fumbled for a second, but reasserted herself. "I am a mage in training myself." She said in simpler terms. "Would you mind giving me some tips?"

Hungry enough to eat the world, now that was a bold statement. Somebody was stealing Bee's precious attention. Now she could not have that. Bee had spent far too long in the background unappreciated and silent. It was now her time to shine. All eyes must be on her, or at least in her general direction. As Bee looked at the new maiden she noticed something in the distance that sent her heart a flutter, a red tome. Could that be a fire magic tome, she thought to herself. It had been a while since she had seen another mage. She had seen several shirtless axe men and maiden of light, but not another mage. She wondered if she loved fire as much as she did, thought that was theoretically impossible. No one loved fire as much as Bee. For her fire was life, fire was reason, and the flames were magic. All magic was fire. Any other spell is just simply fire in a different form.
"Holy burning dogs of Bern", shouted Bee as she rushed over to the table with the two maidens. "Is that a fire tome", she shouted using her outside voice. "I can't believe that there was anybody else here who used the same type of magic that I do! The last type of magic I scene was the bright kind! You know the one powered by faith and holier than thou are! What do they call it? Oh right, it was simply light magic! So are you studying to be a pyromancer like myself or are you seeking to use a more diluted flame! I hear lighting magic is all the rage now a days, but nothing beats the basic fire ball to the face!" It was then in the middle of her excited rant that Bee noticed Auria's dark tome.
"Elder magic", spoke Bee with fear and trepidation. Her excitement quickly drained as she thought back to her old master. He would always carry that tome, despite having far greater ones, with him where ever and whenever he traveled. She knew the magic well enough to be wary and know that it had a clear advantage to her flames. "Careful with that power", spoke Bee in a serious tone. "I have seen a bit what it can do. Elder magic is a frightening tool."
"Oh by the way", spoke Bee as she turned to the purple haired maiden. "I think the world is a little to big for you. Have you not read the tales of Xin and Flan. Never consume anything bigger than you head. It just might pop off. You probably should start with a horse first."
Bee's words were less of a response and more of a challenge. How dare she steal Bee's spot light. She had to kick open a door and scream to grab that. Then she came in and declared she would eat the world. That was actually gold. Bee should have thought of that. Why did she not think of that. Now she was forced to make a weird statement to steal it back. Such embarrassment.

Liv had a nice glass of milk before her and a pretty lady sitting next to her, so she was happy. After the bartender had pushed her down, she was unfortunately unable to express it by her usual jumping around. So the energy was simply stored and ready to explode at a moments notice. It didn't help that her cup was shaking from the buzzing energy. When another girl her age walked into the tavern, it made her begin to wonder. There was a lot more kids here then she expected. Has she been tricked into a daycare!? Such a thought was quickly dissipated when she was spoken to by the girl with the pretty blue hair. Usually she was the one to start blathering. The girl was asking her advice on doing magic, which quite frankly was far beyond her.
"I'm still learning, so I don't think I can be much help," she admitted, trying to take her tome off from underneath her butt. She wasn't the brightest girl in the world, but she was stubborn. When the blue haired one took out a black tome, she nearly jumped out of her skin in excitement. The odd pink haired woman came over, as far as she could tell, complimented her about picking fire magic or some like. At this point, the excitement in her body overflowed. Before she let it out, she placed her cup of milk on the counter for later, dusted off her clothing a bit, coughed into her fist to prepare her throat, and pounced on the girl with the black tome.
"This is so awesome, meeting other magic people," she squealed out, practically mauling the girl with her affection,"you should teach me stuff. I can sparks sometimes, or accidentally blow things up, but I'll learn fast." She said, jumping off so the other can have some breathing room. She did the same with the pink haired one, before moving on to the girl that had just wanted to get a bite to eat. If the goddess was so kind as to bring two people around her age with magic abilities, then it was obvious that anyone else that entered had to be magic pros as well.
"I bet you can do magic too right?" she declared, right before she jumped and hugged the other girl. She did multiple pats before pausing for a moment with a suspicious look on her face. There was something suspicious about the purple haired one. Her instincts said that she was not what she seemed, but her mind quickly sidetracked to something more important.
"Oh right, hi, my name is Liv!" she introduced, still clinging onto her prey.

He stares at several beads of water seeping out through his glass. What sort of force drove the liquid out from within it's container? Pressing two index fingers on opposing sides, he'd move the liquid against the polished surface, making tiny amusing squeaky sounds to himself to pass the time. The noise wasn't particularly loud, not so much that it would stifle him from unintended eavesdropping. Mages, they were mages. The lot of them, but they didn't seem to know each other very well. The pink one seemed a tad out there, but was likely the most knowledgeable one in contrast to her rambunctious behavior. At least, that's what the lad thought.
Lowering his head as if to mask his eyes beneath all of that bushy purple hair, he hoped he could get away unnoticed. But that remark, he just had to make a remark. He had to come in desperate--oy, thinking back on it now, he just made mistake after mistake. But if they were mages they probably wouldn't care about menial stuff like that right? They were all intellectual and stuff--wait, no they weren't. That didn't appear to be the case here at all. And realizing that only made him sink lower. Before he'd even noticed it--his yellow eyes met with purple ones.
"Ah...?" he stopped a moment, in his unnerved state he expected something a little more brutal than mention of his eating habits. This could be his break though. With a small laugh following, the nervous lad over-zealously nodded. "Y-you're right, you're right~ But I could never eat horse. Their hide's so rough I'd break my teeth." he rambled on, placing a palm below his chin as he looks backs toward his glass, "I mean I do still have some baby teeth left, but those are almost all gone now, I can't afford to loose them any more times than I have." he pauses and sighs, sliding to place his cheek on the palm instead as he kept going, he was pretty talkative for a shyster, "Though I guess in theory, eating the entire planet just would not work. That'd be eating every horse, and lion, and etcetera amount of livestock, vegetation--everything, and all that salt water would give me a stomach ache. You know what? Maybe I should take it back. I can eat a liver and then some--but not a planet. You're right, stranger. I shouldn't be so greedy. I'm sorry. But I thank you for giving me the time to reflect." a small placid smile steals his features -- and like that all previous concern was overturned -- if not forgotten for a moment.
*thump*
"W-whaaa?" Just as he turned to finally begin delving into the plate that had apparently been placed in front of him during his ranting -- oh such sweet liver -- something took hold of his petite frame. Though this person was only slightly taller than him. He wasn't sure what to do--was this how people here normally greeted strangers? He spaced out for a moment, before shaking his head to snap back to reality. "A-ah.. um.... no. I'm not a mage. Sorry." he replied; though technically he wasn't lying. His skills in the craft were nowhere near official mage status. He could barely muster a glint of light at all, to a point where it was all but shameful. "L..liv huh..? Like in living..? I-I'm Nyroshea. Nothing special here." he smiled sheepishly, feeling his arms going numb. ... ... She was clinging to him a little too tight for comfort.

"A tool like any other all the same. You should be afraid of those who hold the tools, and not the magic itself." The strange looking girl looked at Auria with a certain worry in her face, like she was scared. Maybe scared isn't the right word, cautious maybe. Auria turned her own gaze upon the rustic tome, falling quiet for a short time. That girl said to be careful with this power... She had one thing right, elder magic was power. Power that she would take for herself and use it to make her mark upon the world, or die trying. No one will cry for another dead peasant girl, if she would pass no one would care, she had little hope of a great and grand future besides this. It was her only chance. She wouldn't let it pass her by, not without trying until her hands are raw and bloody. Her eyes narrowed as she stared hard into the bound leather, as if her gaze were to bore a hole within and reveal all its secrets. Just as quicky, she turned back with a gentle face and a calm smile. "I understand your caution, I will do my best to be responsible and safe." She said like a child asking their mother if they could go out for the night.
The girl she spoke to said that she wasn't a mage, well that was a bummer. Auria went to voice this when she was attacked viciously with love and affection. UGH. IT BURNS. The (surprisingly tall for how she acted) girl was mauling Auria with a devastating hug as her pure excitement sort of oozed out into a high pitched squeal kinda like 'eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee'. The pupil could feel her face burning up, as she just sat there stunned. She didn't, how do, but, what are you, how do you deal with something like this? Like some kind of love amoeba the girl sprung off of Auria and onto the next and Auria... Auria... Auria could only cover her face that burned a million degrees. All the way to the tips of her ears.
She couldn't even hear what the other people were talking about, all she could hear was the sound of her mind shutting off.

"Holy crap", spoke Bee as she stared at the purple haired maiden. "Are you ... are you one of those shy people", spoke the maiden. Bee almost drooled with excitement. She had heard of "shy people" before, but she had never meet one. Everyone she knew always fell into three categories. Nice, annoying, or stupid. People who she meet on her travels who helped her out spoke plainly to her were the nice people. They were rare, but filled in a good portion of the travelers she meet on the road. Then there was the annoying people. These were the mean people who tried to swindle her out of her coin or rag on her all day about her hair and how she was not lady like enough. Normally guardsmen and some old folks. Then there was the stupid. The people who just did not know. There were just plain fools. These are the people who thought she was a boy or just did not know magic. They believed that she would turn them into chickens and small insects. As if that was possible. Is that possible? Bee did not know that much about magic. She knew a bit about the combat and a few aptitudes, but other than that she knew very little.
Pausing for a moment form her new discovery of a type of person Bee turned her attention back to the blue haired mage. "Well all I can say about elder magic is that it burns. Like fire you have to know its limits and how to respect it. If you do not respect fire then you will get burned. That is the universal truth of the world." Before Bee could go along with her comparison of fire and dark magic she was practically mauled by the other mage. It was probably for the best as Bee was leaving her knowledge of magic. All she really knew as the basics of magical combat and that was thanks to a book she read a while back. Beyond that she was about as green as the rest of them.
"Hey you can talk and ask questions without clinging onto me", spoke Bee as she pushed the young mage off her. Bee did not like to be well glumped. She had a personal space that needed to be protected. "If you grab onto me like that you might mess up my hair", spoke Bee as she checked to make sure her hair was still vertical. "If you mess up my hair it will become all messy and tangly. After that it will take forever to get it to go back straight up."

"Yep yep, Liv like living," she replied quite excitedly. She was still clinging to the slightly shorter girl and perhaps even harder then before. The bartender perhaps finally felt a pity for the girl and didn't want a murder on his hands, that he decided to step in the best he could.
"Hey Liv, you see this," he asked, holding out a little round candy all wrapped up. At the sight of the sweet treat, she visibly lessened her hold on the girl. Mesmerized by the candy, she could only reply with a nod. If only all kids were as easy to deal with as Liv and at the same time as difficult, then the whole world might be burning down.
"All you gotta do is sit down, finish your milk, and not strangle my customers to death," he said, putting the candy down next to her drink. Almost instantaneously, she unlatched from the other girl and plopped herself down onto her tome again. She was still excited though, practically bouncing around her seat. Candy was only a temporary distraction sadly, she had practically chugged her milk down and popped the delicious piece of sugar all at once, before she registered all that had just happened.
"Sorry about that folks, her big sis has been around town helping out, she is quite the handful," the bartender spoke on her behalf, before getting back to his work.
"It's just so cool to meet so many magic people at once," Liv admitted, clapping her hands together excitedly. The only thing keeping her from clinging to another girl was the trade of her affection for candy.

This was it, the end of everything. Darkness.... there was a darkness setting in... His arms could barely feel any blood pumping through them as his breath left him. Surely the last breath! This was it! The end; in the arms of his loved one--wait a second. He didn't even know who this was. So, correction, in the arms of a merciless stranger, the gap between life and death meets a stammering halt....... .... .... [Nyroshea has fallen!]
... ... Or so that is how it would have been, had the generous (and perhaps wise beyond his years) Bartender not intervened. Inhaling sharply, a hand clutches his small chest; praise be ye olde Gods!! That was close.
With an inaudible mumble he leans over his plate, eyeing the sugar happy girl as if she were a dangerous predator. "I-i get it... Don't worry about it." he responds to the bartender, thankful for the generous explanation, but that didn't, under any circumstance mean he would lower his guard for a minute. His fork pierces the flesh of the liver and practically tosses each piece into his mouth as he gulps down the blobs of flesh without so much as chewing. While his opposing hand remained clenching the glass of water just in case anyone would try anything funny. SPLASH, right in the face.
All this talk of wizardry and stuff made him feel really incompetent and brought his self-esteem lower; they all knew so much about magic -- no, none of it was anything new to him. But he could at least assume that they were capable of wielding their respected fields of magic, whereas he has had fireballs explode in his face, darkness comically suck up his toes, and the light blind him for a good half hour.
... Shuddering at the recollection of failures, he bit his lip, sipping half of the glass of water down.
Uh oh! Now he is apparently shy people. Some strange label of human that -- no wait, that's what everyone thought and it wasn't anything less than true. Despite his attempts to be sociable, at his root he was very shy, at least around strangers. Still, having it declared so boldly made him want to retreat behind his hair again, oh if only his hair were a bit longer he'd be able to retreat at all times as opposed to now where he'd have to lower his head and mask his chin with his palm.
Still, she didn't seem to have any sort of ill-will, her curiosity was almost genuine even. "Y--yeah.. I.. I don't fancy myself a superb conversationalist, but I get by... when I can." there, that was a nice, clean response right? "You know an awful lot about fire..." he added both as a compliment and to show he wasn't entirely slow or dimwitted. "How long have you been studying fire? Were you born into it or something?" it wasn't brown-nosing! It was innocent curiosity that needed to be sated! That and he'll probably never meet somebody so passionate about the blaze again in his livelihood, so he had to opt in as many inquiries as possible.

Time passed like stories left lands—shifting and changing with the addition of plots and circumstances unstable—from the perspective of the youth. He couldn’t recall the length of his travels driving him to the land of Caelin from Aquelia; yet, he could recall the sights that came with his movements. Hardened hearts from those of the faith so filled with zealotry and passion for violence and negativity that it crushed the presence of his hope, and yet, he knew…if he could just travel outward the road would lead him to those he could give some call of hope toward. That alone inspired the youth to brave the travels of the road, with his tome of Light carried to his bosom, in hopes that those who had seen the light could once again recall that it came with a calling…and to abandon out of blindness.
Though faith did little to ease the weakness of hunger. For the last few days had been the most trying since. Mountainous travel, weather, and escaping the clutches of cutpurses left the timid heart a bit worn and weary; his body and mind ached for some measure of respite to put it all together. And that was when his stumbling form, robes dirtied from their former studious shine, and body trembling as he found the placement of Caelin and the same marker of liver discounted. Which only provoked a deep ache in his soul.
“…I can only hope they are gracious people,” he sighed out. After all, money was something that was far more disastrous to contend with when greed and fear sowed its seeds among many hearts. Not that he had much or any to have held with him. Getting by merely on what he had learned to work with from his previous labors, and using the hope that perhaps there would be those within this advertised tavern kind enough to lend and share with their fellow man. Surely, the light would touch someone’s heart to understand that compassion was a blessing to create companionship? At least…he prayed in the depths of his soul as Luceat trudged in with his staggering steps.
Though luck would have it as the male stepped in, he would trip upon the length of his robe! An abrupt crash would leave the poor form—slender as it was—to fall to the ground face first, making the Keeper raise yet another brow of concern for the occupants of his hall. “A-Ahk!” The bright binding of his Light Tome would skid across the floor, as the male lingered in the pause of his injury momentarily. Slowly, he moved to knees and hands as his hair swayed and his eyes shot outward to notice shockingly…that the majority of the occupants around…were near his own age! Surely someone would be kind enough to aid in his distress?
Especially with the scent of food that came about already…and the grumbling aches, the pangs that drummed against his stomach from the lack of sustenance maintained during the travels leading him here. If the people nearby were too blind to see the truth of making the Light the way Father Einz brought it out, then surely, the people of the world could learn to appreciate it if he could guide them!...Er…well…if he had the confidence to believe he could…one day guide people. For now…he needed guidance…to gold…and something to eat!
“Pl-please…co-could s-s-someone…spare…any food?”
Timid and soft spoken, his voice carried itself outward as his gaze scanned over the others…catching the glimpse of tomes here and there. Certainly…it couldn’t be a bad sign if there were those of the practice of magic near…right?

"Uh-um-I-I think..." Auria tried compose herself again, but failed. She coughed, and closed her eyes tightly, taking in a deep breath and trying again. Before even opening her mouth, she took ANOTHER deep breath, just to be sure. That was the first time anyone's ever jumped her like that, in the alleyway with a knife? Sure, that happened twice the month she was preparing to leave. To be attacked with what only could be called affection? For seemingly no reason, what possible defense was there against such a thing? "I-I think..." She began again, her face still red and her voice a pitch higher then it was a minute ago. "That there's a real opportunity here. Us three are all mages in training, right?" She pointed at the pink flat top and the excitable little girl, the other person outright said they didn't use magic so Auria ignored her for the time being. "The chances all three of us would be here at a time like this? It must be a sign." Finally the blue haired girl managed to get a hold of herself, returning to her usual confident tone as she took hold of the conversation and planned to steer it into the right direction. Right for her anyways, but it wasn't as if it had no benefits for them as well.
"My name is Auria." She introduced herself. "I am a pupil learning dark magics. Of course it's hard without any sort of teacher, and I can barely keep hold of my spell without it exploding in my face." She admitted her failures freely, her pride had no sway here, if such a thing could keep her from succeeding she'd toss any pretenses of pride she had right into the garbage. "Maybe we can help each other, we all lack the experience of a traveled mage, but without help it's hard to get experience right? If we work together, we could do more then we could alone. Help each other with our magic. I mean dark isn't really the same as... fire, but it's magic still and there's got to be something that crosses over right?" She suggested the idea they team up, she was hoping for a trained shaman to teach her, but a group of training mages gotta be better then nothing right? Maybe together if they tried really hard they could blow up a single monster. Or at least be less likely to blow themselves up by accident.
Almost as if on cue someone interrupted them. So rudely too, falling face forward when she was so close to suggesting they take a job together or make a guild or something. She looked over to the person who fell with a look of annoyance, bitter at whoever had the gall to... To... Wait she knew what that was. Instant her eyes lit up and a grin snaked across her face as she leapt up from her chair. All traces of bitterness or irritation vanished in less then a second as she scurried over to the fallen man. She knew that book, it was a light tome. The priests of Elmine from her home had them, he used magic as well. Perfect, perhaps he was more trained and can help her more then these novices, or maybe he was a novice himself and could join her cause. Either way it was a victory, and to be honest him being a novice wouldn't surprise her. He looked about her age, and all the people here were as such, like they were being called. She wasn't serious when she said it was fate, but perhaps it was actually true? Either way, she wasn't about to let a bad attitude stop her chances of success.
"Oh are you alright?" She said with concern, bending down to the fallen man. "Here, let me help you up." She said to the man, and then faced a severe dilemma. The man wanted food, if she paid for it that would quite literally leave her with two gold pieces to her name. The question was what was more important, this man's goodwill or the few coins she had? IF she waited to hear about his skill in magic, then it would be obvious she was simply trying to buy his good will, but what if she wasted what little she had on a dead end? The decision burned in her mind, it was a simple matter that left her at a loss. She was saving up for a new robe, this one she had was old and torn in many places and barely held together with thread and off-colored patches. Still...
"I have some spare coin, if you need a meal I think there's a special on Liver and Onions here. If you don't mind eating such a thing that is." She tilted her head with a kind grin as she offered him her hand, knowing she just tossed what little she had down a hole and hoping that eventually it'll throw it back.

Surprising enough it was the shy person that grabbed Bee's attention the most. Probably because he stole the attention from her. Though that was all water under the bridge now. As Bee opened her mouth to respond her duck arrived, glorious. Rather than did in Bee focused on answering the question asked of her first. Fire was far more important than duck. Duck was cooked with fire and thus fire has superiority.
"Well a bit of yes and no", spoke Bee as she moved her index finger up to her mouth. He answer was quite fickle, but there was actually a really good reason for it. "If we are simply talking about magic then it is a now, but if fire then it is a yes. I have been obsessed with fire since I first burned my hand on my family stove as a child. My mother use to keep me with her when she use to work on the forge so sparks, heat, and flames have been engraved into my soul. Most of the time when I think of my mother I think of fire and its warmth and heat. Now magic on the other hand. Magic was different. I did not study magic to about a year at the most ago. Now mind you I read and understood about magic a bit before, but I never had any hands on experiences with it. So to be truthful I really can't call myself a mage as I fail at spells all the time, but that does not matter. All it takes his hard work, determination, and respect for the flames as I am sure I can master fire magic lickity split. All I have to do is remember to respect the flame."
As Bee finished talking the blue haired woman took the floor. Introduced herself and began to talk about destiny or fate, which ever one it was, and how they should group up. It was a good idea. All these pupils pulling together. They all may suck at magic, but together they could probably equal a mage or maybe even two of them. Though if they did fight together they would have to work on controlling miss bouncy over there. She nearly choked the Shy one to death. You can't have her going around killing members in fits of excitement. As another pupil stumbled in and took the attention Bee turned her gaze to her duck. The maiden began to cut off a piece of it and chow down.
"What is wrong with him", she spoke, but he soon answered. Hunger was it, yeah Bee understood how that felt. Money was hard to come by, especially when you did not have a official job. Bee earned most of her coin in a bakery and by doing odd jobs around town. He could do the same, though at the moment she was not sure if it was possible. He seemed almost out of it. Still sacaeans never forget a debt. She was not sure if this guy was sacaen, which she doubted, but the mentality still existed in this world. Helping him out now could aid her in the future. Without another word Bee rose from her seat along with her plate of cooked duck and put it in font of the man. "Eat", she spoke and without another word she walked up to the barkeep and ordered something else to eat. She had plenty of coin, she had been saving, so it did not bother her.
"Well then let me take the time to give you all a formal introduction. My name is Bee. B E E, just like the insect. I study fire and I really really like fire."
