"Oh shipments of new atlas next month?" Atlas the shop keep commented on the few days that remained of the current month. Sheesh a month flew by fast. Ugh... Going to have to prep for that too. Joy. Her inner voice sarcastically commented. She had a soft frown on her face.
"Hmm... I suppose I could wait a few more days. I really need one. Very well, Sir Atlas, how much would the atlases be?" She asked the shop clerk. Rubia came back out with a small vial of rune ink. To which Mila paid a small fee for. While Wright explained his story about the map she learned that Sacae section of it was poorly done but the Bern section was pretty good.
"Sounds like the cartographer for Macendew needs to retire." She joked. Wright so far seemed like a decent enough fellow.
"Well then I shall just be patient and wait for the atlases. If not I will simply acquire one elsewhere." She shrugged. Nothing to do about that. The map wasn't 100% needed but she would like to have one for her travels.
"Hmm. Hey since I'm going to be kinda stuck here while I wait for an atlas, shop keeps is there an inn you can recommend me?" The young mage had seen several inns dotted throughout the town. Practically one on or near each of the city gates. With traders and travelers constantly passing through it was no wonder why the inn business was booming.
While she waited for an answer she quietly stuffed the small vial of her recently purchased ink in her bag. She was careful with it. She had only a few gold coins left to her. Guess I am going to have to find some means of income in the meantime. She was a good scribe so maybe she could find a desk job somewhere, or wait tables.
"I don't need anything else presently..." She tried to think of something. Atlas shuffled around to find a key for Hel's book. Huh, guess it's not a regular old flux tome. Drat now I'm curious what it is. The mage waited long enough to hear the appropriate responses to things. She used that information to figure pout what to do next. She politely dismissed herself from both Wright and Hel hoping to run into them again someday.

Ooc- sorry Wright. But I don't think we are going anywhere else with this.
