As Arryn ran off to finish his errand leaving Oichi with the old man for a while. "Alright here we are", spoke Old Ivar as he lead the young maiden to a run down looking restaurant near the docks. The store was in the perfect place. It was close enough to the docks that one could look out at the sea and feel the cool ocean air, but at the same time far away enough that the filth from the sailors could not be smelled. As a bonus the shop keeper owned three cats which performed a perfect patrol keeping all mice, rats, and sea rats away from the store. The shop however was obviously old and by the way Ivar looked it seemed like he was a regular at this place.
"Hey Anya put on some fried squid and beef", shouted the old man as he opened the door. As the door opened Oichi was surprised to be greeted with the smell of sunflowers and a giant chandelier. In completer contrast to the ceiling jewelry everything else in the room of of obvious lower quality. The chairs were old and the tables covered in scratches and knife wounds. On the wall there was a old symbol that looked very familiar. Vongola, read the words in the center, but the rest of the design was foreign to the maiden. It did not match the ones found in the guild. On the opposite side of the room there were sigil from other mercenary bands. Some of them Oichi knew from the mainland and others that were recorded into history.
"This is a strange establishment", spoke Oichi as she looked around bewildered.
"Strange", spoke Ivar slightly offended. "There is nothing strange about Anya's Place. This restaurant has been here for three generations now. It is as much apart of this city as the Vongola guild. Plus it is one of the cheapest places to get some decent food in the town", spoke the old man as a childish grin crossed his face. Finally his true motives were revealed, but Oichi kept that to herself.
"Oh Ivar is that you", spoke a voice from the back. Suddenly a old women walked up the counter with a rag wrapped around her head. She was just as old as Ivar and had the same mischievous look about her.
"Ah, Anya", spoke the old man as he turned toward the aged women. "Hey give me some fried squid and some beef with broccoli. Vongola just got a new member and I wanted to celebrate big."
The old women looked at Ivar with scrutinizing eyes. The grin he had on his face and the young women standing behind him made her wonder. "Do you actually have any money this time", she spoke breaking the mini silence and letting Oichi know a bit about Ivar.
"Of course, of course", spoke Ivar as he pulled out his coin purse and placed 15 gold coins on the counter top. "See I have coin. Now get that squid and broccoli flowing."
"Its squid and beef and brocoli, and this is no where near enough to have it flowing. I will get you three plates along with a pitcher of ale. That would put you at 16 gold coins, but I will cut you a discount since we use to be guild mates."
"Guild Mates", spoke Oichi with surprise. "You were a member of Vongola?"
