OoC: Sorry, I totally forgot that we have this topic. I only remembered after I read through my older posts T_T
Riviera watched as both Jya and Tiz walked out of the cave. Wrapping herself with Jya's cloak and gripping the fabric tightly, the noble lady feared that those two would abandon her. Her prideful nature wouldn't allow any weakness but after all she had shown to them did she really have anything left to protect her pride? They had seen her crying, screaming, and trembling in fear. Was there anything left to be hidden behind the perfect lady mask? The noblewoman wasn't sure if it was her fear or helplessness that convinced her to follow Jya's suggestion as she rose up, despite trembling feet, and headed outside with those two. Her long bangs fell down and covered most of her face. What a mess she was in.
Searching for safety and comfort, Riviera moved closer toward Jya. Her hand unconsciously grabbed the assassin's shirt. It was like an adult escorting a child. Anyone who saw the scene would probably think Riviera wouldn't survive the storm even for a minute if Jya were to leave her alone. Pushing the hairs off her eyes, the Etrurian mage watched Tiz walking away. Maybe he was irritated by her helplessness or maybe he thought his chance for survival was higher if he went alone. Anyway, that meant Riviera could only depend on Jya for the rest of their journey toward the town.
The rain and the darkness made navigating the forest dangerous. Not just the slippery ground and mud, nocturnal beasts might be hiding somewhere with their fangs bared at the two women. While Jya should be able to take care of herself, she might have trouble fighting while protecting Riviera at the same time. "You aren't going to leave me too, are you?" Riviera asked the green assassin with meek voice. Her fear was clearly reflected through her eyes, which searching help from Jya. Her helplessness didn't seem to bother the blonde girl anymore. No, she had forgotten about it and only cared about surviving for now. Maybe she would hate herself later but for now...it wouldn't matter if she were to die here because of stupid pride.
