SLAM!
Galaxy wakes up to this blast, immediately ouside her window, and he raises in her bed, her hand going to grab her nearby axe. "Who-?!" She jumps out of her small bed, and dash out the door, her axe clanging against her back. She was already dressed in her battle gear- simple leather clothing- as she was prepared to wake up and immediately go training. Well, maybe she was.
Galaxy burst through her front door, taking her iron axe from her back. She sees it- a monster, one of the ones that roam the Lycian countryside. Galaxy had never left Laus- never been anywhere except here. And these monsters only seemed like a myth- but it seems that they were real, and very dangerous. It looked zombie-like, standing over an old lady, the monster's claws raised high above her, ready to come down for the killing blow. "Not in my watch!" Galaxy runs to the monster, suddenly fearless. She hadn't seen annything like this- ever, and it did quite scare her- but she needed to save this sweet old lady.
She swung her axe in an upward arc, slicing into the monster's arm, detaching it from it's limb. The monster groaned, moving backwards. It's other claw slammed into the ground, scratching the stone sidewalk. It roared again, and began lumbering towards Galaxy. She backed up, gestering for the woman to run. She seemed frozen on the ground, tears running down her eyes. Galaxy curses as the monster lures towards her. Why is it here? Wasn't Laus just a powerful city in Elibe? Why is it suddenly subscetible to attack? She peeked behind the monster, and saw another two monsters, same kind, lumbering towards her. She needed help, but she didn't see anybody around to help, and this lady wasn't going to much good in combat. Galaxy points the axe to the creature that was missing an arm. "Let's do this." And she charges at the monster, once again fearless.

Laus of all places. It had to be frigin' Laus. Condemned with a mildly infestation, it was a bad place, not a safe neighborhood for a stroll on foot. Such that even the stingy Nyroshea had rented a horse to get through here as swiftly as possible. To his folly, he had fallen asleep leaving the horse on autopilot for awhile, though he would occasionally fade into consciousness for brief periods. "Blarggh....." he groaned, "Five more minutes...."
Neeeeiiggghhh!
Suddenly there was a rush of wind, and as swiftly as the rush appeared, it vanished without a trace. *THUMP*! Nyroshea was apparently on the ground now, his horse must have panicked and tossed him off. The dazed lad weakly gets up with a growl, how dare that rental horse buck him off?! And ... apparently it ran off to boot, now he'd never make that safety deposit -- wait, that wasn't a priority. What on earth could have startled off his companion so suddenly?
"Hey... shush up for a moment..." he grumbled, hearing what sounded like a distorted roar, was it an animal? Wiping his eyes, he quickly beheld the spectacle occuring before him with a more focal point of view. It was a persons back -- and ugly person. A monster? Zombies?! He covered his mouth as he was about to yelp -- maybe they didn't notice him? His yellow eyes dart to see a woman downed on the ground, and something else in front of her that he couldn't quite see because of the zombies. Probably a villager or something playing hero.
.... "Ahh....." he quickly looked around, blast if he only had a tome with him. Sure he'd blunder it up, but it'd be better than being bare handed! He quickly looked around... ... and fate decided to illuminate a barrel to him, there it was, along 2 others, resting beside of a building.
He shifted as hastily as possibly, forcing the barrel over, it felt like it had a liquid in it, but now wasn't really the time to make such assessments, with his foot he kicked the barrel. Making it topple the revenants from the side like a couple of pins. Though they would write to get up, and were now aware of his presence, it should at least buy the other two some time to recover.
"Quickly! Move it!"

Galaxy watched in surprise as a barrel smashed the two zombies that lumbered behind the first one. Galaxy ignored it for now, and whipped her axe in a downward arc, the axe biting into the monster's shoulder. It groaned in protest, liquid spurting from it's new wound. It groaned, but it was still alive as it raised it's remaining claw upwards, and prepares to drop it suddenly. And it does slash her, but it only leaves a thin line of blood dripped from her chest, but it wasn't anything important enough to worry about. She hopped back, away from a possible second swipe of the monster's claw.
She puts her free hand up to her chest, wiping the blood away. She turned back to the monster, and spotted a guy a few feet away, and Galaxy gave him an inquiring look. Why was he here- he didn't appear to weild a weapon- this was no place for an unarmed man! She curses. Another person to protect. Galaxy sighs. At least the boy's cute enough to be entertaining. Maybe she would try and talk to him later.
She turned back to the monster, and swung another wide arc in a circular motion, sinking deep into the monsters side, making it fall to the ground, a deep, low groan in the monster's throat. Her axe now coated in blood, Galaxy smiled at the boy. "This is no place for somebody without a weapon, man! Maybe you should find one, and help me kill these guys." Galaxy gave the guy a cute smile.

Cefia took a long swig from a flask, the liquid burning long and hard at the back of her throat. Laus. What a perfect place to be. Of all places she had to go through Laus. Perhaps she should have smashed the man's face in for not letting her through the other checkpoint. Grumbling under her breath, she began to make her through the town. The monster infestation had died down, but not completely it seemed. No matter, she was sure enough that at least it wouldn't be a pathetic way to go out in her life.
"What will we do with the drunken sailor?" she singed and cheered, obviously intoxicated. She was practically thrown out of the tavern tonight for the amount of alcohol she guzzled and threatened. So it was understandable that she just drowned herself in even more.
Her face was flushed red by the time she spotted it. Two moving creatures seemed to making their way to attack a girl with an axe. She looked at her flask for a moment, taking another swig. Not drunk enough she had decided. Another lass seemed to have gotten hold of a barrel by this point and threw it at the monsters. This surely entertained the drunken berserker as she slapped her thigh and began laughing. This town wasn't so bad if it had entertainment like this.
Thinking on it, didn't the folks here warn not to be out late? Looking into the sky, it was certainly well into the dark. She should find a nice quiet alleyway to collapse in. Then she turned back to the sight of the two struggling for their life against the monster and soon began laughing again.
"Ye need some help lasses?" she called out, her voice practically booming.

It wasn't much, but at least he managed to help. -- Wait what? Was the girl in question just ordering him to leave?!"W-well excuuuuse me for saving your life~ But the battlefield isn't a place for wounded... you should get that fixed..." he bit his lip, setting that joyful nature aside for concern. The other two monsters were getting back up!
He had to do something...... Weapon, weapon, she was right, his kung fu physique was simply not enough! He was weak, direct combat wasn't his forte, his body was soft and squishy like an infants. His skin fair and like silk--no, now wasn't the time to admire himself!
"I'll ge--" he was interrupted by the slurring of a drunk! GOD was she loud. And she called him a lass to boot... Oh well, same shizz every day. "Yeah, but you shouldn't get hurt for our sake. Get the royal guardsmen or something!" he felt bad about asking a stranger to throw her life on the line in his stead, especially if it wasn't her job. She looked more like a mercenary than a traditional guard, and he by no means had any way of paying her. He had to save his coins too!
He attempted to get another barrel, but the creature was approaching swiftly, realizing this he abandoned his plans and hopped behind the third barrel, using it as a wood shield to avoid the blow of his pursuer. "Kyyaaah!" afterwards he'd roll away, if nothing else he was at least moderately flexible.

Galaxy watched as the boy rolled away. She gave a giggle, then wrapped her fingers around the axe, her hands gripping it so tightly her knuckles were white. The monster that she had injured before stood, groaning in protest. Any man with that kind of injuries would be wailing in pain- but this monster seemed to be wailing for a different reason- maybe for a moan of hatred, or maybe it was nothing? An emotionless rumble that just caused when it moved?
Nonetheless, she moved towards the now standing figure of the monster, and with a heave, slung her axe downwards, hacking off the other arm at the shoulder, leaving him mostly harmless. She grunted, and swung, hard, at the neck of the beast. She had intended for the head to come rolling off- but instead, the axe imbedded itself halfway through it's neck, sticking in horozontally, quite stuck in the monster. Was it dead?
No, another moan, as it moved it's legs forward, trying to attack Galaxy, but it couldn't do anything, it just wobbled uselessly, stuck on the axe. Attempting to dislodge it, Galaxy threw the monster to the ground, her axe still stuck in the monster's throat.
She grunted in annoyance as another monster strolled her way, bored with the moving target that was the cute boy. The monster limped her way, moaning in the same fashion as the first. An idea formulated in her mind, and lifted the axe upwards, bringing the monster with it, attached to the blade. She waited a few moments, as the monster strolled towards her, then slung the axe towards it, the two bodies of the monsters colliding. Both moaning in protest, they fall to the ground, the axe still stuck in the first.
Galaxy walks to the first monster, moaning in protest on the ground next to the second. She placed her boot on the monster's head, and used her body as leverage, yanking the axe from the monster's neck, ripping out the main parts of the monsters throat. It moaned one last time, and Galaxy used her boot to stomp the monster's brain to complete mush. The armless monster stopped moving, going completely limp.
Two left. She wiped the blood off of her axe on the ground, hoping to at least make her seem less like a gory person. She looked to the monster on the ground, attempting to stand. She stomped over, and landed a firm kick to the monster's forehead, making it fall backwards. "Can somebody deal with this guy?" She rolled her eyes. "Puh-lease?!"

Cefia managed to gather enough of herself to stop laughing and listen to their requests. Get the town guards? Like hell! She wasn't about to hand herself over for her drunken behavior. So she brushed it off and crossed her arms.
"I ain't bout to do somethin' stupid like that!" she shouted back, but still in high spirits. She wasn't even sure if the two little lasses were real in the first place. It seemed real enough though and she could practically smell the blood in the air. The one with the axe was quite feisty herself, she had quite an arm working for her and a tenacity that Cefia had to like. Now the other one was just great fun, especially with the barrels.
The whole fight was hilarious though, especially when the axe wielding one had swung the body against the other monster and proceeded to stomp the head in on another. Yes it was brutal, but that meant little to her, honestly she found it funny and silly thanks to the effects of the alcohol. If she was sober, then she was more likely be cheer the girl on.
"Ai, ai," she responded to the girl, moving forward with a certain sway. As soon as she was on top of the first creature on the ground, she took out her axe and dropped it, letting gravity do most of the work. The Killer Axe fell, slicing clean through the neck and lodging itself into the ground with a heavy thud. Then she made her way towards the other creature, running with the intent of a predator.
Before it could properly claw at Cefia, her hand had grasped its face as she slammed it down onto the ground with a distinct cracking sound. She then proceeded to beat its head against the ground and only stopping when she found she couldn't get a grip of much else.
"Well that was disappointin'," she commented, getting up from her spot.
"Still a lot 'o a good ol' ruckas," she cheered, taking out her flask and celebrating the rather tame victory.

Nyro doubles back to the other end of the building, peeking just over the horizon in the opposing side. Sliding on the floor, he started crawling to travel back to check on the others. His robes dragged across the floor as he scurried within sight. "Oh, the zombies were dead? That's great--oh... oh wow." what looked to be a fascinating sight of heroic bravado dissipated into a crude brutality. Sure it was a zombie, but still, grinding it to dust? A bit much? Maybe? A little? ......
"O-oh.." he looked towards the sidewalk he'd been lounging on noticing a small ant, which reminded him he'd been on the floor! Eew! He quickly scurries up and shakes off the dirt, warily looking around as he reapproached the others.
"Good job guys! We did it!" he shouted heartily, he was glad to see the old woman was safe, and the axe women -- did women... always use axes? Gosh were they manly; so manly..... too manly? How come he couldn't do stuff like that? He picked at his ear, looking away in shame -- noticing the old woman. "Ah, come on, let's get you home." He quickly left the other two to help her out. Quickly, before any more monsters would show up.
*Thump* *Thump* *Thump*
Footsteps? Oh sure, now the reinforcement showed up. Narrowing his eyes, he figured it was just his luck. .... No. These were not human footsteps, it was another monster -- but it was different. There was a strange air about it. It must be the leader; an Entombed. It's claws were fowl smelling, moreso than the other lumps of flesh. It lets out a howl, asserting it's dominance across the village. It smashes through a fence along one of the homes, it ran past the old woman, its target was the woman who killed it's servants. Lunging it's claws out, it moved much swifter than the monsters before it.
Well at least it missed me! he thought with relief- -but ... No no! That's not right. He had to do -- a thing -- something to help -- Did he? No, he couldn't .... do anything. That was something too strong for him, he couldn't hope to attack it head on. "Watch out!" he shouted on reflex, tackling onto the Entombeds ankle. Clawing at it's flesh--the beast ignored him, comically dragging him along with it as he failed in his efforts to impede it. It didn't slow down at all.

Galaxy gave the older woman a quick grin, then hefted her axe over her shoulder, looking down at the dead monsters. A sudden noise from behind Galaxy made her turn to look, as the boy yelled and dashed at a huge, running beast, who looked to be of the same species of monster as the dead ones lay, except larger. She guessed the boy was trying to stop it with all his force. The beast, on the other hand, didn't seem to mind if the dude took a quick ride along his feet, and the guy was slapping the ground repeatedly.
Galaxy froze as the monster charged at her, it's claws raised into the air, ready to strike. She froze up, something she'd think she'd never do. She turned to the woman, quickly, and spouted- "What is that... thing?!" She turned to see the monster almost on her, roaring in protest. The roar shook Galaxy out of the daze, and she lifted her axe up, and took a large round swing towards the beast, and the axe sinks deep into the monster's thigh. Galaxy curses herself... why would she aim for the thigh? The leg? The monster may tower over her, but it doesn't mean her axe couldn't hack off the head.
"Come on!" Galaxy yelped as she ripped the axe from the monsters leg, as the claws came downwards. She yelped in surprise and jumped backwards, as the claws ripped into the dirt, huge slash marks and the monsters blood dripping onto the dirt, dying it a dark red. "Oh, yeah? Fine!" Galaxy hopped forwards, ready to strike, but she slipped in the dried coagulated blood, smashing her directly beneath the monster, who prepares to strike a deadly blow.

Fighting while drunk was fun and all, but it was also very disorientating. She wiped the blood of the monster against her clothes with a rather disgusted face. Cefia will need to change her clothes soon. Sniffing at her hand, it smelled like a dead body that has been decomposing for a week or so. It made her rather noxious and didn't mix well with the alcohol.
When the other monster came stalking in, she was busy keeling over and throwing up her dinner. By the end of it, she was feeling rather unhappy. The merriment she got from ruthlessly slaughtering a monster was gone. Her mind was a bit straighter than before at least. So she focused in on the new creature. It was bigger and obviously stronger than the ones they had faced. The axe lass seemed to be having a bit of trouble fending him off. It also seemed to be dragging the other lass around like it was nothing though.
"I be comin'!" she reassured, taking a step forward and throwing up again. She wiped at her mouth and realized how dangerous this situation really was. Not wasting any more time, she dropped her other axe on the ground and charged the Revenant from behind. By the time she reached it, the other girl seemed to have tripped.
"Get my Killer Axe," she ordered, grabbing hold of the creature by the waist, "might want to let go of the leg now." She began to pull it upwards, the thing's feet seem to prefer rooting, but she pried it loose and soon brought it up into the air and over her head. As soon as it was overhead she let go, falling onto her back. The impact shocked her, but she hoped the creature landed on its head. Hopefully she managed to buy them some valuable time.

The monster had been about to deliver it's killing blow. Who knows how many lives have fallen to it's large, majestic claws? The mere wind up of the attack let a foul aura flush through the air, uninterrupted that attack would probably decimate the girl and the ground beneath her.
Yes, uninterrupted. But then . . .
The woman must have been insane! ... Insanely strong -- and insane in the membrane, who else would have thought to lift the demonic Entombed overhead and smash it into the ground? Everything happened at once, Nyro slid his fingers off the beasts ankle in the knick of time and rolled on the side, propelling himself with his elbows. Why didn't she just slice it with one of those obviously shiny and powerful axes? -- Well, there wasn't much time to react is probably why. Nyro had stopped rolling inches from the regurgitated matter, his face turned blue as he felt nausea settig in.... *HIC* he covered his mouth, this was the last time he wanted to be around foul smelling monsters and foul smelling people with foul smelling -- foul substance... eww is that corn?
Killer axe? That one? he scurried to his feet, grabbing the axe in both of his tiny hands. Whoa nelly was it heavy, there was no way on earth he could swing this with enough momentum to kill anything. So instead, he chucked the axe towards his comrade who seemed to know how to use them -- yup -- chucked a dangerous, killer axe, towards a girl who was otherwise paralyzed into the ground by fear .............. Wait what?! That was a horrible idea!!! Nyro felt the weight of regret set in his stomach, by the gods what had he done?!
....... It was okay though, because of his terrible accuracy, it would land infront of the girl, cutting into the monsters big toe.
.............. *PHEW*

Did that girl just... throw the big monster over her head? She was THAT strong? Wow. Galaxy watched in joy as the girl bought her some time. She turned her head left to see... an ax penetrate the ground next to her head, smashing into the ground, nearly taking Galaxy's head off. She cries out in shock, and sees the guy who had thrown the ax. Galaxy gave him a look and jumped up, grabbing the large killer ax. She looked down at the huge Entombed below, on the ground. She lifted the ax...
...and as it came down, the Entombed dodged sideways, and the ax hits the ground, as the Entombed launches at Galaxy. She lifted the heavy ax, and it came in an arc around at the large entombed, who was standing, took the ax directly the neck, and it's head came off with a single swipe.
The head hit the ground with a thud, and then rolled to a stop, quite a number of feet away, blood splitting from it's now severed neck. Galaxy laughed as she thought of a joke. "Have you raced before? I'm sure you'd never get a head."
Galaxy gave a cheesy laugh and looked to the drunkard and the guy that almost killed her for a reaction. "Get it?" She began laughing hysterically, and drops the ax on the ground, laughing so hard. "A head!" Galaxy laughed even harder at the repetition of her joke. She found it hysterical. She had cut off the head and made a pun about racing. How much better could it get?

Cefia let the other girl do the rest. The monster managed to dodge the first blow, but luckily got him before he got the chance to tear her apart. As the head rolled, she clapped her hands together and laughed. She gave a few nonsense cheering phrases and congratulatory compliments, before deciding to actually sitting up.
Frowning, she rubbed her head as the blood finally returned back to her brain. They said she fought better drunk, but it seemed more like she threw up during the fight more than beat someone into submission. Maybe she did have too much to drink this particular night.
"It is not that funny," she said, getting up to her feet by this point. She looked around the mess and started to question herself. What exactly had she gotten herself into? There were bodies of dead monsters strewn about and she was surprised that she had simply jumped into the fray without so much as a care in the world. It was the alcohol and now she was paying for it in the headache. That pun wasn't that funny at all either.
"Well, I do believe this is as good as any other time to introduce myself. Cefia Silou, freelance pirate at your service," she said, dusting herself off. Did she really just suplex that thing? Moving over, she kicked it over with her foot. It was definitely heavy, but thank goodness she had the strength at the right time. Moving over she put up her axes again, adjusting the straps and making sure the weight was right.
"This was a mighty entertaining evening if I do say so myself. And they once said that no fun occurs outside of a tavern."

Did she end it -- in one fell swoop?! Nyroshea's eyes widened as the creatures head was lopped clean off its shoulders. Goodness! Just where did that power come from..? Was it stored within that frightening axe, or ... was it the girl? Maybe a combination of the two? Twas an awesome sight all the same. Even though he wasn't particularly fond of the smell in the area, a decayed corpse was bleeding, the vomit from earlier. The sweat of all their aethletics--ughhh, it was disgusting. He needed to run a nice hot bath after this one. That along with the horrible pun following it up was the frosting on the disgust-o-cake meter.
"Y-yeah, yeah, I get it...~" he etched a smile and let out a single laugh, feeling revulsion in his gut. Uggghhh, the pun was even worse than the smell. He moved towards the small lass and patted her shoulder, assuring her of a job well done, then looked towards the one apparently called Cefia, placing his palm before his chest as he bowed formally. "Good to meet you, miss Silou. I am Nyroshea... Nyroshea Anseah, but just Nyroshea is fine.." he explained in a shaky voice, still a bit stirred.
"Thank you for saving our lives, we wouldn't be standing if it weren't for you, I'm sure." he would have died and he knew it, it was a chilling thought, but true all the same. "Is there anything I can do to repay ya...?" he cut his sentence short, nudging at the girl beside of him and whispering, "Hey, shouldn't you give her back her axe now?" in a scolding fashion, before quickly returning his smile to the woman before him. She was a pirate, so she probably wanted money... liquor... something? Anything?

Galaxy's eyes almost crossed as she looked at the pirate, Cefia. It wasn't that funny? Puns are the best kind of enjoyment- she can live for days and days on the laughter of puns alone. How does she tell ME what's funny and what's not?! Oh, yeah?!
Galaxy lifted her iron ax, but slipped and face planted into the ground before she could do anything. She grumbled and stood up, her face covered in mud, with a little mixture of zombie blood. She juts her hand out to the boy. "I am Galaxy." She gives a nod, then turns to Cefia. "I see you got skills. That's cool, not to many girls become pirates anyway... maybe you can teach me a few thing?" Galaxy smiles and juts her hand out for Cefia to shake. "That's a pretty ax, by the way." She hefted the ax over to Cefia. She smiled.
She looked to Nyro. "You- why are you wondering around here with no weapon? Isn't that sort of dangerous for a young fella like yourself? Maybe you need a companion..." She winked at him. "Maybe... cut your hair a little bit?" She gave a small smile and picked up her ax, tossing it over her shoulder.
She giggled and wiped the mud from her face. She turned to the woman that almost died, laughing hysterically. "Wasn't that just soooooo fun??!"
She turned and spun in circles a few times. She turned to Cefia. "Want to travel together sometimes? IT would be fun!
