There was a bit of a grin on Duma's face as he heard Perun's reply. Duma assumed Perun would die a warrior given his upbringing. The people of the valley... if memory served believed in a warriors death. And given the way that Perun fought Duma knew one day Perun would die a warrior out in the battle field. This chat between them had been an enlightening experience for Duma. Through Perun, Duma learned that he still had a few ghosts of his past to deal with. And in return Perun had given him some wisdom. This journey with the children started to look and feel a bit brighter then it was before.
"Perun. I think.. I am going to enjoy this trip through the lands. I am glad to have met you. and wish to have more talks like this in the future." Off in the distance he could see a nomad waving his hand. Through the use of hand signals Duma could tell that the man wanted him to come over. It seemed that it was time for Duma to take the watch. So much for wanting to beat up the training dummies.
"Ah. Right. I forgot I had agreed to trade shifts before leaving. Perun I have to leave you. It is my turn to help with the night watch. I suggest you go and get some rest. We will be leaving bright and early tomorrow." He sighed softly then got up and stretched. The swordsman made a quick check of his belongings. As he went to offer is hand to shake Perun's, after their farewells and good nights Duma left the campfire.
