War, war was hell and sacae was no different. In the seas of grass Orcleous had spent a year simply swinging his blade and improving his swordsmenship. Here he fought both the living and the dead and crossed blades with monsters only written in legends. Now however Orcleous was neither fighting or seeking conflict. At this very moment Orcleous training. With nothing more than a pair of pants and some leather boots Orcleous swung his Steel Greatsword around as if he was fighting a opponent. It had been a long time since Orcleous has wielded a proper blade. That scrawny longsword he use to have did not count either. For a while Orcleous was using Xigshaw as his main weapon. The axe was powerful but... well it was not Orcleous weapon of choice. He hated to use it actually. Every-time he swung the mighty hammer he felt like he was cheating. The massive axe gave him more strength than he actually had. The magic was crutch and Orcleous was not going to let it cripple him.
"95, 96, 97, 98", counted Orcleous as he continued to swing his sword around. The hero remembered clearly his days as a novice. It was less than two years ago he first picked up the sword and over that short amount of time he had learned a lot. His skills, despite wielding the crutch hammer, had improved massively of late and Orcleous was getting close to reaching true master level. However Orcleous knew he still had much further to go. When it came to mastery over the sword there was never a stopping point. It was always a push to the next challenge, to the next opponent. The fool who figured he was a master of it was stagnate. One was only strong when they continued to push forward. " Ninety nine", shouted Orcleous as he finished his swing. The hero turned his body and shifted his muscles. With all his force he brought the sword around again and slicked through the air. The sound of the wind passing the blade echoed in his ear as the word hundred radiated through his mind.

Marcus looked outside the wagon as the caravan, owned by the Crossroads trade company, approached the small city of Zara. Zara was a small city, too big to be a town, yet it was dwarfed by actual city's like Bulgar and the City of Heros. It was in a small, not very important section of Sacae, were hardly anything happened, except for the occasional bandit attack or monster sighting. The wagon chain finally reached the gate, were they stopped by a guard in leather armour with a heavy lance, the only metal parts of his equipment being the lance head, his helmet, and the short sword at his waist. Marcus was in the middle of the chain, so he couldn't hear the words exchanged between the guard and the head merchant, Arnor. The guard said something, and then moved back to his post. The wagon train lurched forward, and people started jumping out, preparing to unload the cargo, which mainly consisted of various types of arms and food. Marcus lowered himself to the ground, and stretched. " Marcus!" He heard someone call his name and heard two sets of footsteps, and the gingle of armour. He looked behind him and saw Marthas and Urthil, two sell swords who'd been guarding the caravan before he'd arrived three years ago. Marthas stepped forward and said " Me and Urthil here" he gestured towards the berserker, who responded with a grunt, and continued "were thinking of going for a walk. Would you like to tag along?" Marthas adjusted his lance, which he had slung over his shoulder. Marcus looked from Urthil to Marthas and responded " well....sure. I don't have anything better to do." He glanced back at the train. "Should I bring my sword?" Marcus asked. Marthas sighed." You know you can barely swing that thing, Marcus. But I won't stop you." Marcus flashed a quick smile and sprinted back to the middle of the train, and grabbed his iron sword and his sheath, he then slipped the blade into the sheath, which he then attached to his belt. He then walked back to Marthas and Urthil, and the walking for a while, they came to a rather curious sight. A muscular, shirtless dark skinned man was swing a massive great sword around. Marthas and Urthil muttered something to each other, and Then Marthas stepped forward. " Hail, warrior". He moved his hand towards the shaft of has silver lance, and Urthil did the same with his tomahawk. " We mean you no harm. If you're a friend, lift your hand into the air. But if you're a foe, and try anything, expect a fight."

As orcleous swung his blade two voices came into earshock. It seemed that two warriors had walked up to him and by the fact that they have not attacked him Orcleous could safely assume they were not bandits. However the two men seemed to think that he was aggressive, despite the fact that they walked up to him. Touching there weapons was a sign of seriousness. However for Orcleous this was a great offense. Not only did they intrude on his personal training, but they had the gall to threaten him with weapons. Still it was better to avoid a fight than to cause one. The hero stopped and turned toward the two men. He then twirled his blade and stabbed it into the ground.
"I find it funny that the man minding his own business is accused of being a enemy. I am simply here practicing with my sword. I am a threat to nobody, but the air. You two however, well considering you went to your weapons after simply walking up to me, I think you are the real threat. Have I offended you two some how or are you two just intimidated by my sword", spoke Orcleous as he walked over to his bag, which was away from the approaching group. The Hero then grabbed something off the ground and pulled it out the grass. Xigshaw, was the legendary weapon's name, and with a single arm Orcleous pulled it up and tossed it over his shoulder. "Now if you two want to tango then know that this hammer is enchanted with magic and could squash you like bugs. Now if you want to be civil and talk then I will gladly put down my hammer and continue my training. The choice is yours", spoke Orcleous as he looked at the men.

This is stupid, thought Orcleous to himself. These two men where far too strung up on there high horse and Orcleous did not have the time to waste on them. "You know what never mind", spoke Orcleous as he grabbed all of his stuff. "I don't really have the time to waste on the likes of you all." With that Orcleous simply walked away. These men had no reason to attack him and he had no reason to attack them. Though he wondered what put a stick up there bottoms. It was that or they had been attacked by bandits a lot in recent years. EIther way Orcleous wanted nothing to do with them. He had better things to do with his time than to sit around in a Mexican stand off with them.
"Hopefully Lycia has more work", spoke Orcleous as he began to plan out his next trip. It would be a bit of a walk, but Orcleous has walked further before. Lycia was filled to the brim with monsters thought, so that would make things interesting. He was sure that somebody would need a few of the buggers whipped out, or even better he could find that thing he ran into not long ago. Orcleous was sure he could take it now that he had Xigshaw. His mighty war hammer may be a crutch when it came to regular battle, but against such a beast it was teh weapon one truly needed. Orcloeus however was not sure if the monster could be killed. The last time he encountered it he hit it with a tower of flames and it walked clean out of it unharmed.
"Well that is a thought for another time", spoke Orcleous as he walked off. [Orcleous leaves thread]
