As Aeos listed his thoughts, Blaze could only agree, both choices were appealing in a sense that they were good in their own terms. The young swordsman took his time to consider and adsorb the wisdom of his companion. However he did realized that something bothered him when he was checking the weather, something were... off. This unknown feeling was what made Blaze wanting to go straight away, but as it vanished as quickly as it appears, the young man felt at ease again.
"Yeah... Lady Luck will be our answer for this time. There is no good decision right now. Both of our point view can be argued. I really don't with to argue with you though, you seem wiser than my poor, childish mind. So it is?"
The coat of arms. So we shall stay. Blaze took this decision with maturity and respect. He looked at Aeos with confident eyes and nodded. Nothing more was necessary to express that he entirely agreed this decision. Blaze wasn't lucky, that was sure, and he developed extremely good skills to cheat, but when it comes to important decision with no real good issues, luck was his way of solving problems.
"All right. You smelled that did you? Grilled fish, now that I think about it, the travel really made me hungry... Sorry, I'm being selfish, if you can, try to catch fishes, at worst, I have some emergency supplies in my bag. Since we aren't leaving now, I guess we can work on securing the ship for when we will travel. This will take lots of time, but let's get the ship back in the water and land our anchor. I think we can use the sandstorm to that end."
As Blaze went to the island, he brought back piece of wood and put it under the ship in the sand, to help the ship roll back into the water. Now he just had to wait out the wind so that the ship can go on the water again. Blaze was completely drenched with sweat after bringing back so much wood rolls. As he washed his clothes and made most of them dry at the sun, he quickly swam into the water to refresh himself. It was a very long time since he didn't washed his hair, now was a good time since he didn't had much to do. During this small time for himself, he was remembering everything that happened this day : His vengeance, his encounter with Bones, Aeos and this map. He was thinking about his training in the school of mage. (Ha, not the best place for a myrmidon he he he.) But he did learn something rather important, his magical affinity. While unable to use magic, everyone complimented his strong link to the fire, but also warned him. Having a strong affinity but not being able to master it may become a problem.
(The teacher told me that I was like... A talented mage without any hand to cast spells. Yeah. That's not the important part, no. What is really important is that my strong affinity means I'm much more sensitive to someone's affinity. Maybe that's why Aeos makes me feel odd by time.)
Blaze was heavily considering this possibility before throwing it away. He wasn't affected by the slightest by mages, so if Aeos was like him, a very rare case of strong affinity without using it, maybe that could explain it. As Blaze washed his head in the sea, his mind got rid of everything but the most important. He gained a trustworthy companion and was on an important journey. After cleaning himself with clear water, Blaze went back into the ship, drying at the sun. He took the time to take note of how strong and big his legs were compared to the rest of his body. Feeling a bit ashamed to look like this, he put back on his armor and his clothes. As he finally got back to his normal state, he looked at Aeos and asked :
"I hope I don't bother you, but I have a request. Do you know a bit of ... How is it called? Taekwondo? You know, the martial art with the kicks and almost only kicks. I think that would be a great add to my skills. So... Do you mind sparring a bit once we got something in our belly?"
